Their web and app information for food (under label info) is usually COMPLETELY off. For so many products. Even their own!

I recently made a $934 purchase at Target on 10/27/2024 for an iPad Pro and the Allstate Protection Plan. Unfortunately, I realized that I did not need the protection plan a few days later and have been trying to cancel it for several weeks. The process has been extremely frustrating.
I’ve been bounced between multiple parties—Target, Allstate, and SquareTrade—without resolution. Target directed me to Allstate to cancel the policy, but SquareTrade’s online system redirected me back to Target. This back-and-forth has been time-consuming and disappointing, especially as a loyal customer who frequently shops at Target both in-store and online.
This experience leaves a bad taste in my mouth and raises concerns about Target’s customer service and ethics. Their partnership with third-party providers like Allstate should be better managed to ensure a seamless and transparent experience for their customers. I expected more from a company I’ve trusted for so many purchases.
I hope Target takes steps to improve their handling of third-party products and services to avoid similar frustrations for other customers in the future.

I have been trying to rectify issues with my order from Target for several weeks. I placed a large order in the Target app, which was never delivered. My guess (based on reviews of similar products on the Target site) is that is was not packed properly and could not survive normal transport. After wasting time contacting FedEx and giving up on that avenue, I contacted Target and a refund was processed, however, it was the wrong amount. After another call to them, it was finally fully refunded.
Based on this experience, I decided to do a drive up order at the San Jose Cottle store vs. an order for delivery. After getting my order, I discovered that two items were missing. I tried to process a refund via the app, but could not. I called Target and was told to contact the store, which I tried to do on multiple occasions. Unfortunately, no one ever answers the phone.
I am out $26--and a whole lot of time. So, instead of wasting more time going down to the store, I decided my time was better spent telling people about my horrible Target experience.
The items I purchased were the Marks & Spencer holiday collection. Every single review on the Target site mentions how poorly they are packaged and how damaged they are on arrival. Obviously, Target does not care enough about customers to do anything about this. And, then, when there is an issue, you can't get a refund via the app or online because these are "food" items.
Do not shop at Target unless you have tremendous patience and time on your hands and you are okay with broken, damaged goods that you cannot return easily. I do not have the kind of patience required to be a Target customer any longer.
      Signed,
      A former Target customer

I am extremely disappointed for the online customer service. I would like to start off saying that I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. I was placing an online order specifically for deals that were being offered as I was checking out I noticed a price change. The price increased $85. This was a purchase being made in the middle of the day and not the end. When I called customer service to provide the previous sale price, I was told that "yes, it was offered and just just a few minutes ago." I told them that I would appreciate the one time price adjustment. They refused. I was taken back. They can not be making changes to their deals midday. An expiration date should be honored till the end of a day. I will no longer shop with Target.

Their customer service is all AI so it's impossible to get a resolution if they didn't pack an item in your order. I received my box, but they didn't put one of my items in my box and will not give me a refund because "the box was delivered". I have reached out to several different channels and have also been told "ask a neighbor if they received your package". There's no way it's a real person and the AI doesn't understand the difference between not getting your box and not getting an item in your box. They have stolen money from me at this point. I'm turning off my credit card and not dealing with them anymore.

Very sad to say there store in Midwest city Oklahoma barred me after I filled complaints and told me I can't shop there and gave new a excuse I was opening doors which I never did after 3 years of coming in and spending 100$ a week for my store at a flea market they got a complaint from me about employees taking the super treasure hunts and ether buying them before customers like me who come to buy collectibles to re sell for my toy store and told me I'm barred for one year for no good reason other then keeping me from picking up toys to resell I currently have a lawyer taking this case and going to file a law suit

First, I picked up a drive up order at the Silverado Ranch store and got home to discover they had given me damaged and openrd merchandise. I returned iit on nov13th at around 4pm. The woman at the return desk processed my return and having recently suffered a stroke I asked if someone could go to the back where the merchandise was located and get another for me. She said she would ask someone and I stood there waiting for about 15 minutes for someone to bring the merchandise back there were a lot of employees standing around. After about 15 minutes, she looked at me and said we don’t have anymore even though no one had come there and told her that so I’m assuming that she knew it when she told me to wait.. She had a customer in obvious distress Wait 15 minutes so she could play some nasty little game with me.. this is increasingly becoming the norm, going into target and encountering nasty employees, and I’m going to think twice about going in there again.

I signed up for the target 360 membership to receive a $50 off $50 promo, my order was cancelled as my shipt shopper was checking out and now I can’t use my coupon, and target doesn’t want to give me a refund of the $49 membership fee, but told me I could place an order for $50 call customer service and ask for a refund then wait 7-10 for that order to be refund as a promo for a solution, customer service didn’t seem as if they cared.

Purchased item washable Lansinoh Nursing pads in Target store located in Burbank CA. This item was 13.99 inside the store however if you order online the same item and pick it up in the same store, it will be 11.99. I am do not understand the logic behind, but it seems like a predatory business tactic to target customers who will never check online prices.
