I have been trying to cancel my service since February due to moving out of state. I have called from two different phone numbers (my work phone and personal phone) and have left countless voicemails to the main business line and their customer service line. They have not returned any calls. I finally was able to reach someone in March to cancel my account and was informed I would have to pay a cancellation fee of $30.27, due to not providing 30 day notice, even though I have been calling for more than 30 days in attempt to cancel the account. Three different times I was informed a supervisor would call me back to settle the bill, which has not happened because the supervisors never call me back. They also have confirmed two different dates to pick up the trash and the recycling cans, and they have not showed up to get them. I was able to talk to someone today who reached out to her supervisor (she did not mute herself; I could hear the entire unprofessional conversation) which the manager refused to speak with me. They are claiming to have done a look up of my phone numbers and are not showing that I called, even though I am looking right at the proof of calls with the dates in my call history. They will not let me send my screenshot documentation and said they dont care, and they arent removing the $30.27 balance on the account. I will NOT be paying this fee and will need it removed from the account. I also have my copy of the contract that I NEVER SIGNED. Therefore I was never even in contract with them, but they will not let me scan this to them via email for proof. This company is nothing but unprofessional scammers who will not return your calls. I am filing a complaint regarding Curbside Waste due to misrepresentation, unexpected fees, and an unfair contract enforcement.A Curbside Waste employee came to my door offering waste services and assured me they could beat the fees I was paying with my previous provider. I provided my total bill amount, including all charges, fees, and surcharges. The representative wrote down a new rate on our agreement, which was $2/month less than my current provider, and I signed based on that understanding.However, Curbside Waste began billing me at a significantly higher ratenearly twice the agreed-upon amount. When I raised this issue, they claimed the additional charges were due to taxes and fees that I had failed to ask about. I believe the sales representative misrepresented these fees or omitted key details, leading to an unfair and misleading agreement.Due to my dissatisfaction, I requested to cancel my service, only to be told that I was locked into a two-year contract and would have to pay a $200 cancellation fee. However, the single-page document I signed does not include a contract, and Curbside Waste has yet to provide me with any signed agreement proving otherwise.I find this situation unacceptable and believe it reflects deceptive business practices. I am requesting correction of my billing to match the originally agreed-upon rate and cancellation of my service without penalty at the end of the current billing period.Initial Complaint

I discontinued my service with them December 1 of 2024 and they have not picked up their garbage cans after Ive called him five times and here they are still here at the end of my driveway, every time the wind blows I have to go and retrieve them. We are new to curbside waste.Two months have been paid ******** trash has been removed for 3 weeks. Upon calling CS 4-5 times since 1/7/25 there has been ZERO trash removal.Each representative has a different explanation for the reason for no service. One very nice representative put our service as VIP, with detailed instructions to make the drivers instructions very clear and easy to understand. Once again zero pick up and the garbage and recycling are piling ***** husband and I signed up to Curbside waste because the salesman who came to our house in October stated that for an extra charge the trash haulers would come to the front of our garage and collect the trash.Both my husband and I have physical limitations that make it difficult if not impossible to pull the trash cans to the curb. Hence the reason we wanted to do business with Curbside Waste.CS with Curbside Waste is severely unreliable! After spending ***** minutes on hold I have been hung up on and still zero resolve.I am curious to know why this company is still allowed to do business!I am hoping the BBB will be able to help us get resolve with these issues. I was mislead by a salesmen who told me every house on my block has switched, or is currently switching to this company, when that is not the case. Once I received the cans on 12/16/24, I called and was able to cancel my subscription without any problems. I was told they would pick up the cans in the coming days but they never did. Its been almost a month since I received them and the customer service keeps telling me that they will pick up the cans but they still have not. Ive called them everyday from 1/2/25 to 1/10/25, at multiple different hours of the day and spent 30 to 40 minutes on hold or gone to voicemail. I called them today 1/14/25 and the company said that they would be picking the cans up between 12 - 6 pm the same day. However, they never came to retrieve the cans.Business Response

Agreed to stay. I am rejecting this response because: First the $1000 that was sent to Curbside was not an error I was paying my bill in advance for what was agreed upon: 4 months free service account would be up to date. But my services were haulted the first of January as to when all this started. Here are the payments made:

There are numerous complaints about this business and yet they still have an A++ rating? I suspect many, like me, just want to put it behind them. I am now filing more complaints and reaching out to neighbors to do the same. ************ is not honest and taking advantage of our neighborhoods.
So, NO, this response is rejected as the payments of $1000 was not by accident and there is no outstanding balance. If they fill there is then they will need to take me and all the neighbors, I have rallied behind me to court.

I did not have my trashed picked up on the week of 12/25/2024. I called them that Friday to get this resolved. They said they would send someone out no one came. Called back and was instantly disconnected after waiting 25 minutes on the line. Had some one else in my household call them and they told them that they will pick up all and any excess trash the next week and back date two weeks from our bill. I'm very dissatisfied with their service. They told us we need a 30 day notice to cancel? I was not aware of this? I waited two weeks to have my trash picked up when they said they were sending someone out? This business has changed in the last year and I no longer wish to use them, but alas no one will answer my call. Curbside agreed to pick up garbage and yard waste every Wednesday for the negotiated price. Five times in the last six months our service was not completed. I contacted the company on the following dates to request a remedy after they missed a pickup:8/22/24 8/29/24 9/6/24 9/19/24 1/3/25 The remedies they provided were subpar - once they offered to come back in the next ***** and never came back, other times they offered to pick up more bags the next week. Have you had rotting baby diapers sitting in your driveway in 100 degree heat for 2 weeks?I contacted them via email on 1/5/25 requesting to have my service cancelled on 1/29/25. They are telling me I need to pay a $200 cancellation fee since Im still under contract, but the service that I signed up for has not been getting completed so I believe this as a breach of contract on their end.I brought this to their attention multiple times and gave them several opportunities to make this right, and it still continued to happen. What I want from them is to cancel my service and waive the $200 fee they want to charge me for the service they could not complete.Business Response
