Hello,
I left a review about my expierence with blue ox on 1/2, which was very negative. They responded on 1/8 on the website as well as called me personally which was nice. They apologized many times and said they weren’t sure what the tech was thinking. The manager also told me the would be returning the 89$ service call to my credit card - they said it would show up by Monday(1/13) or Tuesday(1/14)……fast forward to today. No return on the service call and they didn’t pick up either time I called.
I was looking forward to giving a good review for how it was handled, however it ended up being negative once again.

I had several issues with my boiler over 3 days. Hudson came the first two days, then Dan on the third day. They both were very knowledgeable and courteous. They did as much as they could and explained everything as they worked. The final conclusion was that it all couldn’t come together because the meter outside wasn’t sending enough gas into the house. ( who knew?) dan told me to call Center-point for that, which I did. They came out and changed the box and everything works fine. I’m so glad that Dan realized that that was going on along with a few of the other problems I had. I would highly recommend this company. Blue Ox Heating & Air was awesome. They were able to send someone out within 12 hours after contacting them in the evening the night before when my furnace stopped working ( in the cold of winter).
Ken, the gentleman who came to look at the furnace alerted me that he was on his way a half hour before he got there. Blue Ox also sent me a text with a picture of who would be coming and a little bit of a profile of that person (Ken). He was also very nice and explained what was wrong with my furnace and spent a good deal of time with me to figure out the best solution to take care of it.
We had a new furnace installed the next day and those installers worked tirelessly ALL day to not only install a new furnace, but also a new air conditioner and an Aprilair (in January). We needed all three appliances since our current ones were 20+ years old!
I can’t say enough how impressed I was with all the service we received.

Our furnace went down on New Year’s Eve. I called blue ox out for service. I was quoted 4-8k worth of repairs depending on warranty, 11k for a new furnace. Something didn’t seem right as both my wife and I were at work and not there at the time, just gramma. Well we got a second opinion. Furnace is back up & running, in warranty, 10-15 years left on it - all for 1.4k. If I would have needed a new one it was half what blue ox quoted me. I feel they were definitely trying to take advantage of the situation.
