      Terrible customer service! They say you are approved then ask for several documents, then you have no other contact from them! I'm not sure if this is a legitimate company. Be very careful!!

      We appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback. The terms that are provided in any pre-qualified offer are based on the information available to us at that time. There are other factors that can impact the final terms that are offered, such as the value of the vehicle, total amount financed (loan to value), etc. This type of information is obtained during our initial conversation with the customer and can impact the pre-qualified offer. Because everything is done via phone, text and email, we do need to request supporting documents to complete the refinancing process (e.g., a copy of a drivers license, insurance information). We are sorry if that was not clearly explained to you by your Loan Consultant.       AutoApprove is quick to try to get you matched with a loan consultant to gather your sensitive personal information for an "application," but will leave you hanging for weeks if you ever hear back from them at all. Oh, but don't worry, you will be spammed relentlessly with calls and emails reminding you to reach out to them for savings because these magical rates are time sensitive... clearly not for them though. It's been a month, and I've just been assigned my 3rd loan consultant. I'm so fed up with this lack of professionalism that I've decided to just drop it altogether. What's the point if they rush the client, but never follow through? It's a complete waste of time, and who knows what they do with the personal information they collect? Stop calling and emailing me to match me with another loan consultant from a temp agency.

We also take great pride in our A+ rating with the BBB, based in large part on our excellent customer service. We apologize for any information you feel was not made clear to you during the refinance process, specifically the fee charged by the third party on-line service that processed your down payment. This fee is triggered by the way in which your credit card company processes the transaction so you may wish to reach out to them to see if they would be willing to waive or reimburse you for this charge. Research of your account does indicate that your Loan Consultant addressed your initial concerns regarding fees, but if you have any further questions, please reach out to us at ******************************* and someone will be happy to help.       I was told that all of the Leanders that AA uses put any extra payment directly towards principal. Now that it is time for me to make my first payment with Consumers, I learn that this is false information, and extra payments cannot be applied to principal. I would not have wasted my time refinancing if this was the case. In fact, I specifically asked multiple times, quadruple checking that any extra payment goes to principal. Clearly the guy was just trying to make a sale and was not being honest with me. It’s similar to how even with perfect credit they won’t honor the interest rate mailed to you.
      Unethical business practices. The old bait and switch.

The information you were provided is accurate, though some lending partners do require that you specifically ask that any money paid in excess of your regular monthly payment be applied to the principal balance rather than the next payment due under the contract. We have spoken to your new lender and they have confirmed that all you need to do is call in and ask before you send in the payment so it can be applied per your request. As for the rate you *** have pre-qualified for versus the rate you ultimately were offered, there are several factors that are taken into consideration that we would not have had access to until we spoke with you, including the current mileage on the vehicle and its value, your current income, etc. If you have any questions regarding the factors that *** have impacted the terms you were offered, please reach out to us at ******************************* and a member of our team will be happy to assist you.
