I am convinced this company is using bots or algorithms to bet against real users. I was bidding on a large ticket item yesterday December 6th and after a couple of hours and hundreds of bids it was down to me and two other people. Before going to bed I placed a couple hundred extra bids. When I checked on the auction the next morning, I found that as soon as my bids ran out, the second person ran out immediately after and the third person won the auction. I do not believe this is a coincidence as it is almost a mathematical improbability. I placed a total of 768 bids and the chances of the second person running out immediately after my bids run out is very sketchy to say the least. Had the two of them bid against each other after I dropped out I would consider that maybe they were real and it was just my bad luck but there is just no way that is a coincidence after several hours and hundreds of bids. I am rejecting this response because:
Frankly, I do not believe you and you did not answer the biggest question that I asked, which is how such a mathematical improbability could happen. Anybody that actually looks at my bids and the way it all happened would agree with me. There is just no way after hundreds of bids, the second person happened to run out right after me. The only other thing I can think of is maybe there are multiple people in households in collusion. Either way, I have been cheated and I expect a full refund for the bid package.Business Response

We understand that some auctions have more than two people bidding and finish suddenly. While this happens in a smaller amount of auctions, it is still reasonably common that there are multiple bidders near the end.

I placed my credit card information into DealDash so I could get into the site and see what was being offered, but they charged me 72 dollars without even asking or telling me that was going to happen. I never asked for those bids, so I consider this a scam. If I had money to blow like that, I wouldn't be visiting DealDash. I signed up for DealDash on their website, mainly just to check out the site. The website requested my credit card information during this process. I assumed it would be needed and only charged if I were to win an auction. Instead I was immediately charged $78 which I did not authorize. When prompted by deal dash to enter payment option there was zero implications that I would be charged 78.00$. I was charge $70, I was unaware that I was going to be charged for trying out a website, for the first time thought after the bidding then I would be charged for the bidding and the item. DealDash operates on a pay-to-play basis, so you need to purchase bids in advance to load up your account balance.
Each bid you place uses up one of the bids from your balance, and increases the price of the auction by 1, while setting the auction timer then back to a full nine seconds. It's in this small window that someone else must decide if they will place a bid to outbid you. Auctions go on as long as the bidding continues, but if no new bids are placed and you are the final bidder in the auction, you win the auction at the final sale price!
I had a look at your account under the email address you provided in this message, and was unable to locate a succesfull transaction under that account. Could it be you used another email address/account to make the purchase? If you could reply to us with the last 4 digits of the card in question and name linked to the card, or the PayPal email address that was used, we should be able to locate the account and issue a refund in accordance with our money-back guarantee.

I downloaded their app to see what it was about. It has you put in your account information before you can see anything. I didn't see anything stating you would be making a purchase by doing so. I just assumed it was for when you do decide. Then i get a notification my account was charged $78.
