      My commitment to loan payments ended in February of 2024. I applied for forgiveness since I had made 120 on-time payments. Their records and website showed that I was eligible for forgiveness. I sent in the proper paperwork to get the loan forgiven. Seven months later, they begin drafting my checking account again to pay on my loans that have already been satisfied.

      Want to make sure Mohela is a real student loan servicer, it seems they are not the actual loaners, and I have been scammed by third parties. The money was paid toward my loans they were keeping my money, when I asked Fed Loans they could not identify them, I lost over $600.00. Thank You for listening.

      I called Mohela per needing to obtain an Reaffirmation Letter June 28 to be mail to me and then again on July 9 to remail. July 18 I called and ask is there any way I can get this letter emailed to me and the rep ********************* I can go online and download. So I sent to my school to fill out document and I was told that since there is no official I need to fill out everything Sent a Reaffirmation Letter via upload on the website on the 18 July. Did not recieve a response until AUG 3 via email that is was denied per invaild encryption that was not specified. So I reuploaded a sign adobe signature and resent and called Monday AUG 5 to verify if that was the correct signature. I was on the phone for about 45 min before being told that hand written is only accepted . I downladed the file and fax over the same day at 11:30 am. eastern time. Aug 6 I called to see if fax was recieved I was told it was not yet attached to account. I called AUG 7 and was told my document was recieved I had the rep verify it was my hand written signature per all the previous documents sent. I also asked for this matter to be escalated. School starts in a week in half and I still have not recieved a response. I am fustrated per lack of communication and slowness when my information was sent in a decent time frame. I continue to be told the processing time. However, the only reason was denied was per invalid siganture encryption. I still have no resolution and my school starts in a week in half

      I called to verify they received a document, the service agent advised they are not allowed to view documents on their level. I ask who could and she advised a supervisor could then advised she would transfer me. SHE HUNG UP ON ME after a voluntary supervisor transfer. I then called back and someone answered but left themselves on mute for 10 minutes until I disconnected. I called back AGAIN and advised I needed to speak with a supervisor, I was very nice because it wasnt the current agents fault I was so upset. She advised a brief 1-2 minute hold and a supervisor would be on the line. Ive been waiting on hold for 48 minutes now.

      They were bad even before Covid. The first loan I paid off it took them 2 weeks to process the payment. In that time they calculated more interest and made me pay that too before my loan was considered paid in full. I contacted them about it and was told I was responsible for the interest accrued while the payment processed. Even though it was their fault. Dealing with a similar situation now. I overpaid to pay off a loan after that last experience. For 2 months now that money has been floating somewhere instead of being applied to remaining loans. *** asked twice now why it isnt being taken care of and I just get a bot answer to not ask until its been 90 days. Meanwhile Im being charged interest when my remaining loans should be lower than they are. My auto payments are still coming out and eventually its going to be an overpayment there too. Im so close to being debt free and theyre doing everything to get even more money from me. Theyre quick to take payment but drag their feet to properly allocate those funds or refund you.

      I am upset because *** sent them several things via certified mail requesting additional information per Wisconsin State Statues and by law it requires a response and they still havent sent me anything in the mail regarding what I sent them via Certified Mail so I know they signed for it.

      I'm so frustrated. I waited on hold for more than 2 hours and the lady can't tell me why my loan payment has doubled. I have it set up to auto withdrawl and I have only made 11 payments in 4 years because they keep putting it on hold. NO ONE WILL HELP ME REPAY MY LOAN for an acceptable rate. So disappointed.

      MOHELA is the worst--they make changes to your account, then you try to call to find out what's going on and make sure you re still on track for PSLF, and when you Finally get through to a person, they are unqualified, with no common sense or knowledge, to help you. Simply, an 'I don't know'! Transfer to another person and the same thing--they pass the buck to some other organization and can't/won't give you a straight answer, After being on hold for hours. The only thing they are trained to do it seems, is repeat questions and read a script asking for your personal info. But they are not knowledgeable at all, do not help you at all. It is the worst.

      Absolutely awful experience.I had a SAVE repayment program, I consolidated and with that submitted the SAVE to be reprocessed. It has been several months, I was transferred to MOHELA, they are trying to charge me a ridiculously high payment. They just reply with a canned "your save application is being processed in the order it was received" whenever I reach out. I have sat on hold endlessly trying to get ahold of someone.They are absolutely the unhelpful and exploitive. I genuinely want to make my payments and be on track, and they won't even help me set up the right way to do it.
