      I have recieved information from the department of education that my loans were being discharged and that I would be receiving a full refund of all payments that I have made, which equates to over $57,000. When i first received the letter i informed Mohela, who started that it would take several months for them to receive the informed from the department of education. Since November of 2023 I have received the run around regarding my refund. I keep being *********** will take 30 days from that days date and still have yet to receive resolution. I have been given expedited reference numbers and promised follow *** that do not happen and was still told they had not received the information from the department of education, eventhough the the department of education confirmed all information was sent to Mohela in February of 2023. Mohela refused to accept a copy of the letter from me.

      Continues to auto-draft additional payments despite my account being current and ahead of schedule. Very difficult to contact.

      The WORST company I have ever dealt with!! If I could rate them a big fat zero I would!! I can never get through to customer service!! I applied for the **** over four months ago and it's still on my account. No one I mean no one answers their line. ************ is a joke and I doubt they have more than 10 customer service reps. ** doesn't matter what time you call them, I believe they just sit and watch all the calls in the que. ************ should be ashamed they way they handle customers and business.

      My payments just resumed in January of this year. I have made each of my payments, but there is a balance as if I missed a payment. This makes me feel like they are "scamming" people. The customer service line sends you around in circles as well.

      I submitted a consolidation loan application to create a single loan on the SAVE repayment plan. It went to MOHELA automatically because my employer qualifies me for PSLF. Now I show two loans, one smaller, one larger, in MOHELA's system. The smaller one is on the SAVE plan, and the larger is on the level plan. Some days after alerting them to some of the issues evident on the website, I just received a billing notice with a large payment due on the level plan, in addition to the SAVE plan payment from the other loan. I have messaged multiple times on what on Earth happened (was just supposed to have one consolidation loan on the SAVE plan; how did it get more complicated than that?), and so far there is no response. Talk about stressful.

      Suddenly took me off a repayment plan that TRIPLED my monthly payments and gave me a month. Never gave me a reason WHY my status has changed. This is the second time that they have put me in a difficult place by changing things and giving me literally no time to adjust for it. Seriously, TRIPLE the monthly amount. This is so ridiculous. This company takes advantage of students during a difficult economy. They are the perfect example of greed and predatory behaviors, and really should be investigated for their shady practices.

      I was so sad that ****** had to transfer my account to **********************. You cannot reach anyone no matter the time of the day or day of the week. They don't review forms properly. They rejected my form saying information was missing when my former supervisor clearly wrote it in by hand.

      I'm extremely unimpressed by them. I paid my loans off completely, and they STILL auto-debited me so clearly there is no system in place for that extremely common situation. I had to call and manually cancel the auto-debit, which is absolutely ridiculous. That's the sort of thing that should be built into the system. When I called, they told me the refund was automatically processed, but there was not (and still has not been) written communication telling me that. Additionally, I get constant error messages on the website, when trying to send messages or download forms. Clearly they have not put much money into making the website work, or hiring enough customer service people.

      I have emailed and called nonstop. I requested a callback which only rang once before they hung up. My payment doubled without warning. I was never given information about my PSLF status just told my loans didn't qualify. Why? How? They tell you to call during their work hours but no one answers or they say they are out of business hours despite it being the right time. Worst experience ever! The Department of Education needs to do better for loan borrowers.

      I have consistently asked for them to update my credit report to indicate that the loan is discharged and they have not. I have reached out multiple times to them, and there is no response. They are literally impacting my credit score with reporting inaccurate information.
