      Theyre BS here. I called them at 7:05 5 minutes after they opened. Was told my wait time was 1 minute, took them 45. Got on the phone with someone and basically because that wasnt her department she transferred me. The automated system then told me 45 minutes, I just went ahead and assumed that was a lie, and got put on the call list. I was right, it took them 2 hours to call me back, and before I could even pick up my phone, it hung up.. it rang TWO TIMES before they hung the phone up. Called back, did the same thing, same department( they didnt have a number option for my problem) and the woman goes oh I can help you with that so Ive been trying to speak to someone for 4 hours, when the first person I talked to couldve went into my account and helped me. Just unprofessional, I get a high call volume at my job too that doesnt mean I take it out on the same people Im supposed to be helping. I try to avoid calling them at all cost because they dont know what theyre doing honestly. All the employees have 2 brain cells left.

      This company has terrible communication. Called no less than 5 times in the last two months trying to set up auto-debit & confirm that my account was in good standing. Everyone I spoke with replied that the auto-debit was processing and should be set up shortly. Allegedly my auto-debit will finally be active next month. In this time going back and forth, it turns out I missed a payment. However, my balance on the online account remained $0.00. Again, any time I asked about the status of my account number when calling customer service, all agents assured me that all payments were up to date and there was no balance. Finally spoke to a supervisor who was able to verify that I had missed a payment and because of this was placed on a forbearance. This is why I had a balance of $0.00 and why I was unable to pay my balance. Overall, I am beyond frustrated with how carelessly my situation as well as Im sure countless others situations were handled. I really hope this company does a better job looking out for the interests of their customers going forward. Terrible experience thus far with Mohela.

      If I could give Mohela 0 stars I would. I have never experienced this type of frustration with a company until my student loans were transferred to them. I submitted a IDR application on 11/7/2023, so that I could start paying back on my student loans. I was informed that this process could take up 90 days. Todays date Is 4/2/24 and I'm still in the same spot I was in before I submitted my application. I'm literally starting to believe that this company is targeting specific demographic of individuals. All I want is to know how much i have to pay each month for my student loans. This should not be this hard.

      I wish I could give them negative stars. This is the WORST company. I have wasted so much time on the phone and no one answers or gets back to you. My loan forgiveness application has been denied 6 times- once because of the date. Once because my name wasnt spelled right- I can spell my own name, don't worry. Their mistake. If I don't hear back soon, I'll be getting lawyers at the BBB involved. Apparently the representatives work from home and have no way to contact each other or a supervisor- they have no emails, no phones, no messaging system. Really? How would a national company which houses federal data function in this century without that? No way to contact your boss? I wonder if they send telegrams.

      I read up on it and followed the **** rules very carefully for 13 years. I got switched to MOHELA with about a year to go for fulfillment of **** requirements. The switch was toward the end of the ***** forbearance, and it went seamlessly. I finally completed my 120 payments, while simultaneously being employed in public service, while on an IBR plan, while in good standing, just as the rules stated all those years ago. If you follow the rules, it works. MOHELA was great to work with and consistently communicated with me the entire final stretch.

      One star is generous. Without question the WORST servicer I have ever dealt with. They should be put out of business and lose the contract to service PSLF bc they clearly cannot do it. *** spent about 6 hours on the phone or on hold trying to resolve issues and have sent multiple unanswered emails to a supposed supervisor. They are super shady and predatory.

      They never answer the phone! This is the worst loan experience I have ever had! I just want to enter the SAVE program and they every time I apply and attach my taxes, 2 months later they send an email saying I DIDN'T send my income verification. But I did!! Twice! I made sure the attachment was there and the message said received! Now, my loans are coming out of forbearance, which applied while I was asking for consolidation! I try to call and they don't ever, ever come on the line to resolve my issue. I get a message that they are now closed and to call back tomorrow. This is the third time they have told me they can't process my consolidation, that I need to apply again so they can put my loans back into forbearance! Please address my complaint, as I want to make this an official complaint against MOHELA. They don't have a clue as to what they are doing. I'm pushing 70 years old and disabled. All of this stress is causing me to lose sleep and making me sick!

      They deserve 0 stars. I have been kept on hold for over 10 hours. When I finally reached someone, the call just dropped. This has happened to me multiple times. At all costs, they make it almost impossible to reach a supervisor.I am waiting for forgiveness because of an issue on their end that has no end in sight. Everytime I call for support it takes hours to get any information. This feels predatory. I don't understand why they are allowed to treat people like this. It should be illegal.

      It is impossible to talk to anyone on the phone. They keep you on hold for 45+ minutes. I am trying to contact them because some of my loans are 20 years old and should be forgiven, but I can't speak to anyone. I have been trying to communicate the issue through messaging, they told me they would have someone contact me by phone over a month ago. I am having my loans calculated under the new SAVE plan and I'm worried this will reset the clock on my older loans.Mohela is unresponsive and uncommunicative, and should have consequences for their poor service.

      If I could put zero stars, I would!! MOHELA should be put out of business IMMEDIATELY!! I've called a good 23 times or so and its always a 2+ hour hold, incompetent rep, given false information, or simply hung up on! I've made several complaints and NEVER hear back. It has been emotionally and mentally stressful. They have not retroactively fixed any of these errors and refuse to even hear me out respectfully. The misplace documents frequently and their processing time is ridiculous. Especially with deadlines approaching. I need help ASAP with this April 30th deadline. I am going to continue submitting complaint until this is resolved. Going to the government with these concerns next! Please help me get these issues resolved soon.
