      The worst process of my life as far as having a creditor. My loan status has changed around 6 times in the last 3 months. I have no idea my PLSF status, getting someone to reply besides *************** tools is just the worst. The fact that the Department of Education vouches for companies like these is really sad. These sad loan servicers need to be out of business. Just let the big banks handle these accounts. This is ridiculous.

      Terrible company. Incorrectly ****************/payoffs, cant get anyone to help since November 2023 and have filed multiple messages with no resolution or call back. Have filed at least 5 different attempts to get this correct. They state they will get back within 1-2 business days and it has been almost 5 months!!! This is such an awful company!

      How can this place even be in business let alone be dealing with peoples school loans?! Received an email 2/22/24 stating they were "transitioning" to a new online platform with no information on how long it is supposed to take or that you can't make a payment without mailing it in. Received another email 3/5/24 basically stating the dame thing. Called MOHELA 3/7/24, they can't even access your account information until this so called "transition" is complete. Mine was scheduled to start 2/27/24 and was told it's supposed to take 14 days to complete but they would not send out any correspondence until 30 days later. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they RUFUSED to let me talk to one and all the questions I had I was told it was above her pay grade and still declined to let me talk to someone with the pay grade to get some answers. I would like to know how they plan on posting MAILED payments when they CAN'T access the account information. The checks that get mailed in are going to sit there and either get lost and people will be told they never received a payment. SOMETHING HAS GOT TO BE DONE!!!!

      If given the option to stay on the line or receive a call back, stay on the line. MOHELA will not be call you back.

      Incredibly horrible customer service at **********************. Actually, its nonexistent. I messaged electronically in September. They claim they will respond within 14 days. Nope, its 6 months later and no response. I also messaged in December, still no response. Today I spent about 7 hours on hold (4 different calls) only to be transferred to the credit department. Spent another hour on hold before giving up. At the beginning of each call to Mohela, you have to listen to 3-5 minutes of "information" before being connected to another line that you can sit on hold for hours. My call was regarding the fact that my loan was paid off six months ago and still had not been reported to the credit reporting agencies (I've opened disputes with the three agencies). Why can't I select NO stars. They don't even deserve one star.

      MOHELA is incompetent and not helpful. We have not received an accurate billing statment yet, in fact we have received no email or paper mail regarding student loan repayment. My son graduated almost a year ago. I did sit on the phone with a customer service rep yesterday, who told me the amount due was $5. $5 a month on a $14000 loan. He didn't see the problem. I told him my son would be long dead before that **** gets paid off at $5 a month. The whole system is in such a shambles. I feel bad for the new graduates. And we had no choice in the matter, who to pick to service the loans. The government better fix this quick. I'm only giving one star because I cannot proceed without giving at least one star.

      I had no choice and my student loans were transferred to Mohela during COVID. They have been a nightmare to work with since the beginning. They just decided to do a loan transfer, 5 months into servicing my loan, and now I am unable to access any account information (even via phone). I have received invoices showing I have payments past due but I am unable to make those payments in any way. They also removed all my tax information and have advised it wont be available, even on the new site once that is ready. Every time you call you can expect hours on hold and never receive any helpful information from any customer service rep.

      Terrible communication and transparency. I would not recommend anyone to get a student loan. Dont leave your parents house until you earn enough to pay for college with cash or dont go at all. Try an apprenticeship or contract with a company to teach you for earned work time.

      Companys support is garbage! I get that they have to react to ever changing policy. Ive submitted 4 requests for ************** Loan Forgiveness, starting last September ,which's my employer has signed 4 times. I have received notices stating that my employer has not signed them after they have 4 times. I call the support number where they try to loose you in a maze of messages explaining the bureaucracy of loans programs, to finally get an option to talk to someone. Except its another menu with no option to talk to someone. Putting in another complaint to the Department of Education, ( contradiction in terms) which signed off this company handling our loans.

      My account with ********************** shows that I have a late fee for a payment received before the due date. If they posted the payment before the payment is due, who is is late. If payment is due the 15th of each month and the payment is posted on their site for the 12th & 14th ******************* ***** payments), how are they late!!To make it more confusing, they show the current amount due being my regular amount minus the past due amount, with the ***** due being my regular monthly payment amount. Wouldn't it be my current payment plus the past due amount (if it was late). The total amount due just shows my monthly payment that is due every month. They also show December 2023 as ineligible towards my PSLF count and I paid this payment before the due date also. To make it even more confusing, I paid payments in October, November, and December 2023 even though it was in forbearance and was to go towards my count, because they sent me statements showing the payments were due each month, and they don't show my payments, for these three months, but I have documentation that the funds were pulled from my account. I've sent multiple messages which they respond but don't answer my question. I have many many more complaints of this company!!
