      Time sensitive issues and on hold for over an hour to be disconnected. No call back for over an hour. Called back now on hold for 1:15 minutes and counting. Mohela is overcharging me. They give me the run around on the phone until they finally say wait for a manager. I asked the person to get a name and extension for the manager if I'm just on hold. I was cut off before. She comes back and says if I'm cutoff I just have to start the process over again. They have stolen 3 hours of my life. And they want me to over pay them? And it feels like they're trying to get me to give up. This is bad. And these are the services we were given to by consolidating into the US Loan forgiveness program. Fed to sharks apparently. Yeesh.

      This loan servicer is NOT acknowledging that I have paid off 4 of my loans. When I call I am told the problem has been fixed then when I go on the website the loans that I paid off are not reflecting a zero balance. I have called many times and am on hold for hours and hours. I have been told that I will be transferred to a supervisor and then it doesn't happen. I have sent messages through their message system. Despite having paid every single ***** of the loan, I am still NOT seeing a ZERO balance. Is this legal for this company to do this to people?

      Wife for a bill for over 8k after all her loans were previously paid off from the ***** Loan forgiveness and the bill showed by 45 days late so now its showing overdue as well on a balance that shouldnt exist

      I have been having issues with Mohela and their customer support and my inability to get my loans forgiven. I have been trying to get my student loans forgiven as part of the teacher loan forgiveness. I have now put in 3 applications to get this forgiven because I keep getting told it is not filled out correctly despite them reviewing my application and them saying it was ok. Then after 3 plus weeks of waiting I have been told there is an issue and I have to resubmit. 3 weeks ago I was told my application was good and would be sent off to the Federal ****************** by the end of the day, only to be told yesterday that there was an issue and it was never sent off. I am tired of getting run around in circles for this issue.

      AWFUL loan servicer, ambigous language on their site, and a "pay-off calculator" that is very poorly designed. **********, they told me I was in deferment until ****, then took me out of deferment out of now where, did not notify me (even though I was checking monthly when student loan repayment was announced by the government). I was fine making my payments, I took out these loans and have NEVER missed a payment. Which is why I am so upset at the unprofessionalism of all this. They sent me multiple emails during the time of announcment ensuring me I was in deferrment and then out of no where send me a deliquency notice 1 month AFTER my loans were due. Then they had the audacity to charge me a late fee- for their incompetence. Then when I called to ask what had happened....the system would not let me speak to anyone citing that my profile was being "migrated to a new platform" with no end in site. If I could give them zero stars I would. I feel for all the unlucky people stuck with this loan servicer and every review, bad publicity, and hatred from the public this entiity gets is well deserved and well earned. My spouse has none of these issues because they thankfully did not get stuck with Mohela- which is the only good thing about this situation. If interest rates weren't so high right now I would refinance (even if it was a little higher) to never have to deal with this loan servicer again. 10/10 would NOT recommend- good luck to those unlucky enough to have to deal with entity.

      Lies.... every time I call I have to wait on hold for two hours to get someone. My loans have all been paid off, I've had the letter for months showing I have a zero balance on all of my student loans, however they won't report this to credit bureaus. I have 9 loans that are all still showing on my credit report as open with balances, however I have the letter from Mohela showing all of them as paid. Each time I call they give me a different excuse as to their policy on reporting, I wait the required amount of time and then call back for status. The answer then changes and now their policy is different from what they said the last time they called. How can a company get away with falsely reporting open balances on someone's credit report when they were paid off months ago?

      I was notified in June of 2023 that MOHELA was taking over as my student loan servicer. I applied for an IDR August 1st, 2023. After several weeks of waiting for correspondence from MOHELA on my application, I checked the website once more and to my surprise, the status said "cancelled". I immediately tried calling them however, much to my dismay, the wait time was over 40 minutes. I did not have the time that day to wait. I was finally able to call another day. This was on September 22nd or so (on my drive to work) and was on hold for 45 minutes when a representative came on the line. I asked why my application had been cancelled. Her answer was "I have no idea". That there was nothing indicating a problem or any notes as to why it was cancelled. Her advice was to reapply and that I'd be placed on administrative forbearance until November 30th. I messaged them about a week ago. Here we are December 5th and I've not heard a thing from them. When I log in, I see so many "alerts". This is one of them: We are in the process of updating your account. For some or all of your loans, you will not be due for payment until after December 2023, and your interest rate will be adjusted to 0% through an anticipated end date of December 31, 2023. What?! How about an email? A phone call? Are they going to cancel my application again because it's been so long? I just don't understand. It is incredibly difficult to speak to a human and they do not respond to messages nor do they communicate effectively. They seem to lack knowledge of the process or what's required. I did NOT choose this company. My previous servicer obviously sold my account. I am not pleased. The incompetency is strong with this company. 0 STARS

      Worst loan services! POTUS should be embarrass of this loan service!lr! The website is not user friendly ! I am being charged a pay due among when I paid over $1000 for my monthly **** payment, totally disgusting and then your charging me an additional $3 for a past due ?! If website was set up properly and laid out to be easy to understand this wouldnt be an issue!

      I've been waiting since October 23rd for a response from this company regarding being overbilled. I spend hours on the phone waiting for someone to answer and I never get through.

      I also am extremely frustrated with MOHELA and have contacted my Senator with my concerns. I have submitted my annual employment certification twice (in August 2022 and August 2023). Its now end of Nov 2023 and my qualifying payments have not been updated in 2 years to keep me on track for repayment towards PSLF. I contacted the company 4 weeks ago by secure message and they never responded. I was able to talk to a customer service representative who could not explain to me why my forms have not been processed. The delays in processing routine documentation are ridiculous and unacceptable. I also do not have a choice in other student loan servicers since I am participating in PSLF.
