      I am making another attempt to speak with customer service about a refund they owe me. Each time, I have waited hours and nobody answered the phone. I have been waiting for nearly another hour and no answer. This company is absolutely horrid.

      The worst creditor for student loans you could ever use. I have never been more frustrated trying to pay for a bill in my entire life. The app never works and email notifications are never sent. SoFi and MOHELA will never be on my list of recommendations for anyone. Running from both as fast as I humanly can.

      I received a letter from Mohela 11/3 that I had a bill date of 10/26 due 11/2. I didn't even know my accounts had even switched until I received this letter on the 11/3. So automatically my payment was already late before I even received it or knew my account had switched. The bill was also not correct. This is absolutely unacceptable and is going to mess up my pslf. They have no responded to any messages I have sent and will not answer calls.

      I have tried many time over the past two months to pay my bill. I was set up with autopayment. I confirmed with a CS representative in August or September that my account was correct and it was ready to have the funds withdrawn. It never went through. I paid 5 times over there website after the auto-draft didn't work, it never went through. I've also called to pay and that never went through either. I have filed a complaint with the department of education and I have emailed Mohela. I have also called, but the wait time is astonishing. Plus, they are only open during the work week. I just want to pay my bill, and they have sent me to collections. I am so frustrated. The messages they have sent claim "my financial institution has returned my payment". So I called my financial institution, and they have no such thing barring my account for collection from Mohela. The fact that I've tried to pay 6 times and claim my account has been turned to collections is ridiculous and that better not show up on my credit report. I'd really like some help. Thank you.

      I was helped by Myeishaj. She was absolutely wonderful! Extremely helpful, great mood, and very patient. She answered all my questions and acknowledged all of my concerns. Ive gained full clarity of the repayment programs.

      WORST EVER!! Hold times are ridiculous and I mean 2-3 hours each time Ive called. Tried emailing for assistance and the 3 day response time is a lie as its been 4 weeks and nothing. My loans were sold to them so I have no choice but to stay. They actually mixed up my two kids loans. If you have a choice run. If I could give negative stars I would. Awful and I cant say that enough.

      They have not responded to any of my secure messages. I have called a number of times and can never speak to a representative or customer support agent. Have waited more than an hour and half on hold in one sitting during their hours of operation. Furthermore, their website has a poorly designed user interface, making it hard to navigate and complete core tasks such as make payments and see transaction history. No relevant information on their FAQ page and their search feature is not functional. It's hard to believe this is a service provider for something so critical as student loans. It's been impossible to contact them. Advise an investigation ASAP.

      This place has terrible customer service, they are often rude. Hold times are legendary level ridiculous. You can call and ask a question if and when you get ahold of a person and they will tell you one thing, and you call back and ask the same question (because, for instance, it appears the person you talked to lied or was misinformed when you get something in your email) and they will tell you something different. They have an automated system from h*** It will disconnect you while on hold. It will disconnect you if you press zero at some steps to speak to a person instead of choosing one of the numbers it offers even though each of those number options won't allow you to get to a person, they will only give you prerecorded messages that you can already find the same info for online. That's why we're calling, Mohela, because its 2023 and if we could get what we needed online, we would have already. We can't. There's no online chat. Their website will say they have to complete something in "x" number of business days, and if they don't, well, it's just still listed as incomplete, even though they passed their own timeline. And if you use the online message system (not a chat, all, not a chat - an I'll send you a message and they'll get back to you in 3 business days) they don't respond. Like they just ignore your messages. Or read them and laugh maniacally while they press delete? Who knows. Nothing good. This place is an entry to some circle of h*** Please god or the government or the better business bureau, do something.

      My repayments started in august and are $33.00 per month. In an effort to pay down the loan quickly, I have paid them $200 per month totaling $600. They claim they never received my October payment and now claim I am behind in payments. I have made each payment electronically via citibank and the first two were fine, but now they say they never received the third. Citibank provided confirmation that Mohela was received the payment and this has been forwarded to Mohela to review but no response has been received other than more emails saying Im falling behind in payments. I have waited on hold 4 times for more than 1 hour and even waited 2.5 hours to speak with a supervisor but was never connected. This sounds like fraud and needs to be investigated.

      My loan servicer got switched to Mohela. Mohela denies receiving my income-driven repayment application. The application was submitted on 8/31/23 on the *** website and shows it was approved. Additionally, I requested my loan payments be adjusted with Mohela themselves on 10/14/23 via self-certifying my income. Neither request has been addressed and now my loans are in repayment and they haven't been switched to an income-driven plan. It is very difficult to reach anyone through phone or message for assistance/support with this new servicer. I contacted Mohela 3 consecutive days by phone with no return call and today finally reached someone after 40 minutes on hold who said it should take 14 days to approve my application and it has been almost 30 days now. Their solution was to put my loans in forbearance due to their untimely approval process. They knew repayment was coming for a long time and did not prepare well. They also failed to communicate to me that they took over my student loans from my prior servicer and did not communicate well when my loans were approaching repayment. I did not ask for my loans to be transferred to this servicer and would not recommend them to anyone.
