      Even before the 2023 student repayment fiasco, I've only known MOHELA for its slow processing from everything including payments to IDR conversion processing. Normal businesses that operate like MOHELA tend to fail. I'm surprised this loan company still exists. Late responses, duplicate paperwork, and general untimely service isn't accepted anywher where people actually choose to conduct business with a company.I wouldn't do business voluntarily with MOHELA or any of its affiliates ever in my life. If I were to find an organization were associated with MOHELA, I'd put in all the effort I need to switch business partners.

      Waited on hold for an hour and a half because they only switched 2 of my 5 loans to the SAVE plan. When I explained this and said they needed to fix it, suddenly they would accept $630 instead of the $2046 I was billed. My REPAYE payment was only $565 and SAVE was supposed to make it cheaper. I was told that I submitted several applications a year ago and that caused the confusion. I only submitted 1 and it was processed with the $565 payment. I have the letter from them. So then they told me I had to apply for everything again and see if I qualify for PSLF, which again I have a letter stating that I am on that plan and have been before my loans moving to them. When I said that I dont see why I should have to start the process over when I am almost done paying on my loans, the girl said she understands that I am frustrated but they are trying to help me pay off my loans in 10 years. When I asked what she meant, I was told that I dont have any qualifying payments and that I need to see if I can go on PSLF. When I said that it is crazy that they keep s******* things up and Im the one paying for it the girl hung up on me. I have filed a complaint with the Department of Education. This is beyond frustrating because they have removed me from programs I was in because someone decided they want more money out of me. I hope the Department of Education does more than withhold funds from them and provides a loan device that actually does their job without s******* over the working class.

      I filed a formal complaint against Mohela with BBB, which has been closed today, even though Mohela has not corrected their calculation errors when billing my monthly payment. My monthly payment under "SAVE" repayment plan, which is supposed to lower borrowers' monthly payments, is over $1,000. Under "REPAYE" repayment plan before the pandemic, my monthly payment was about $500, and my income increase since the pandemic is only 15%. I've complained to other Federal and State government agencies with no resolutions so far. Now I'm considering hiring a lawyer to deal with this on my behalf. Mohela is absolutely the worst, not just taking my money but also a big chunk of my time during normal business hours, and I have a busy full-time job!

      Can make my payment. Signed up ahead of time and still can make the payment despite speaking with my bank and them several times. They dont want my money it is past due because they wont collect it. They are ranking up the interests and want us to default. Fraud!!!!

      I was on the phone with them yesterday for two ****** ****** kept transferring my call because I pointed out that my student loan interest has continued to grow despite me being in the SAVE plan. I was repeatedly given wrong information about my daily interest rate. I was then told that the amount of interest that has accrued is all of my interest for this month, which will drop off next month after I pay my next payment. I then made them do the math on the phone with me to show them that the amount that has accrued is over and above the monthly interest amount, and they could not explain why. It got to the point where the representatives acted like they could not calculate the daily interest rate even though instructions for doing so are publicly available on the website. I was not able to get any clarity regarding my issue. I had to get off of the phone because I had a meeting to attend at work. Otherwise, they were going to transfer me, AGAIN, to another department who, I'm sure, would act like they could not comprehend basic math and resolve my issue. I thought the save plan forgave interest that's left after we make a payment, but that is not what's happening at Mohela. My debt continues to grow...

      They do not respond to any messages. They dont look at documents you upload. I paid ************ off and I still show in forbearance. I also over paid and am still waiting for a refund.

      I've called numerous times and received different information abour PSLF from each person. I spoke to. The wait time is ridiculous. They also gave me wrong information on how many payments I made. I asked for a payment history. It arrived TODAY ALONG WITH SOMEONE ELSES INFORMATION. It has the person name, current address and their social security number! I hope my information wasn't given to someone else.

      I never received my repayment letter. I tried to get ahead of the curve by getting my auto pay setup way in advance since I heard payments would start soon. A lot of good that did me. I received no information from them until I received a letter telling my payment was late. Just another miss managed private contractor taking money from both ends and providing crappy service to those of us that are caught in the middle.This is our government forcing us to pay for little to no service!!!!!!

      You are better off going to a morgue and requesting service from people lying in the ******. **************** *****, they will s**** up your loan information, they give you incorrect information that contradicts who you have spoken to on prior calls. And if you are expecting anything to go to the credit bureau it may take a year.

      Paid my PSLF the day prior to due date 4 days later payment not processed and they are showing me late. Can someone fix this please?
