      I have been on hold for 1 hour 24 minutes and holding and I'm at work. This is ridiculous. I was put on an administrative forbearance and need to speak to someone. People that are working-class can't afford to take a day off to speak to someone.

      I called to get help with 2 things, I waited on hold for 2 hours. The first issue was my subsidized loans were accruing interest when they shouldnt be since Im in a grace ****** from graduating. I was assured they werent. My second issue was that I needed help paying off my loan and closing it out. I was supposedly helped with this and to my disappointment found, yes those loans are accruing interest, my loan still isnt closed out, and now to add to it my monthly payment somehow changed from $200 to $500! Called back and waited on hold for 2 hours, disconnected. Waited again for 3 hours, shortly into the call despite her asking if they can call back if we get disconnected and my saying yes, the call was disconnected. I am not on hold 1hr 30 minutes and counting for issues that shouldnt be there due to their mistakes. Terrible website and way of doing business! I was told I could pay it off online but you cant, it directs you to a page with only one option, to call. Im stuck and wasting my time.

      MOHELA is a company of criminals. Their payment processing system is so slow that payments post AFTER new interest accrual resulting in a not paid off balance. And it's impossible to speak to anybody. You can't comment on ******** posts or message them and you'll easily wait for 60 minutes on hold on the phone, just to have their system end the call. Why were we assured we'd get a balance paid in full notice on friday and it's now MONDAY and the balance has gone up with the payment made Friday just what...in purgatory? Somebody needs to hold this company accountable

      They rejected my application for income driven repayment even though I provided the additional documentation they requested. I have attempted to reach out to them multiple times for forbearance while this gets sorted out, but have yet to hear back from customer service.

      This company/loan provider has the worst customer service and hold times . I called because my loan is still in forbearance and Im trying to keep up on interest payments . There is no option on their website to apply a specific payment amount for subsidized and unsubsidized loans. So they are applying the full payment amount to the unsubsidized loan and letting the subsidized loan compound interest . I called and was on hold for two hours. The representative could not help me so I asked for a supervisor, another two hour hold . The supervisor said that she put in a request so that when I make a payment it will apply to the interest first on both loans and then spilt the remaining to apply to the principal on both loans . Well I made another payment and same problem . The other loan is just sitting there compounding interest and here I am on hold for hours trying to figure out what is going on . This the worst customer service , I wish my loan never got transferred here.

      I called them August 31st to pay off my student loans in its entirety (a little over 37k). Mohela has documented only a portion of my payment as being paid. I've called and called, hours on hold, escalated many times to supervisors, awaiting the timeframe to process my case, without satisfactory resolution. In the meantime, Mohela continues to send statements for payments. It is paid off! The money is in Mohela's hands. I have submitted proof for their review. Mohela messed up on a simple transaction. I don't believe they are honestly trying to resolve this issue.

      Even after verifying my banking account and auto debit information twice, they removed all my information when the payments restarted. Most scummy company of all time and I cannot wait for them to go out of business. I will dance on it's corporate grave.

      I've just started with this company and they have left a HORRIBLE taste in my mouth. They are disorganized, they lack transparency and understanding of student loan forgiveness programs, call wait times are ridiculous, and customer service is non-existent because no one can figure out what needs to be done to correct the errors that Mohela makes with their calculations Here is a brief rundown of my bad experience: I changed my servicer to Mohela, applied for an IDR, and was told that payments were set to resume in OCTOBER. However, Mohela set SEPT as their due date, did not apply ANY income-driven plan to me, and billed me 1/2 of my monthly gross salary. I emailed Mohela and filled out another IDR with verification for which they approved me. However a few days after the 1st approval letter they sent me another letter stating that my IDR was not approved. I wish that I had researched this company's reviews before changing servicers. Stay away unless you like correspondence delays, confusion, and incompetence.

      Received student loan forgiveness back in the middle of August 2023.. Both Mohela and StudentAid.gov both show a $0 balance. I received my letter via email a few days later stating the same... It is now the end of October and this stupid garbage company with the WORST customer service known to man, IS STILL REPORTING to the credit bureaus that I have a balance...It's unbelievable how unprofessional and incompetent this company is....There customer service reps cannot help you with anything because they don't know anything...No answers.. I'm going to file disputes with the credit bureaus now because this company can't do there job.

      This company is horrible. They decided I have a middle initial/name. I do not. The bank rejected the most recent payment, 93/120 payments toward student loan forgiveness, because it is the wrong name with the made up middle initial. I attempted to change it on MOHELA's site and the site would not allow the upload of my state id with my legal name. I tried two different platforms (Safari and Chrome) no go. I tried using my cell phone, no go. Now my student loan is showing as late, s******* up years of on time payments, my credit, and my potential Public Student Loan Forgiveness. THIS COMPANY IS NEGLIGENT!!!
