      I have never experienced such bad service with any company. I have tried calling for a week now and get put on 4 and 1/2 hour wait times only for no one to pick up after I have spent my evening sitting on the phone for over 5 hours. A pathetic excuse for a loan servicer. Further to the fact they send zero correspondence about anything so the only way to ask them anything is to speak with them on the phone, which is IMPOSSIBLE BECAUSE THEY DONT ANSWER THE PHONE. Absolutely pathetic.

      I have called Mohela for assistance every single day for a week straight. I have called the second they open. There is no option for a call back. The *** is incorrect about suspected hold times by hours. I dont reach a representative until over 4 hours of hold time and the representative I reach first is incapable of handling issues and tells you they can only forward your call on to another representative and they cannot give you an estimate wait time and there is no option for a call back. I have waited every day after the first 4 hours for an additional 4 hours for the other representative and I have been disconnected every single day at the end of their work day without ever getting to speak to a representative. I have issues in their side of the loan agreement and they cannot even be bothered to pick up the telephone and speak to me. This treatment towards borrows should be illegal and they should be penalized every single hour someone has to wait on hold to reach a representative.

      Ive called over 9 times since the *** forbearance went into effect about the same problem. They have an error in their system that keeps taking my loans out of forbearance and then charging me interest. They solve the problem and then it magically happens again and again. Every time I call even if its 8 am, its a 3 hour wait time. Theyre impossible to reach about important issues. This company should have its federal contract terminated and be fined.

      In my experience, Mohela doesn't follow it's own guidelines or instructions when it comes to borrowers enrolled in the SAVE plan. They have erroneously (and counter to their own website, e-mail, and automated phone messages) taken my loans out of forbearance (in full or in part) multiple times. Then, they have attempted to force me to make payments for the times that they inappropriately took me out of forbearance-- despite me having written communication FROM THEM that I was actually in forbearance, with a $0 balance due and should not make any payments. This feels like s scam. I've had loans for 15 years, and I've NEVER had issues like this until moving to Mohela as part of the mandated consolidation for my SAVE plan.

      Seems impossible to reach this company. For several months their number has advised a hold time of over 8+ hours and if you remain on the line, that number continues to increase by hours vs. decreasing. They continue to mail statements advising payments are late or with a new min. ***, when I am in fact several months ahead. I have always paid more than the minimum & never skipped a payment. Not even during the pandemic. The ********************************* website have never accurately reflected the amount paid (and has cleared my account). In truth, I am not sure this account wasn't paid off years ago. Prior to them even transferring ownership a few times. Someone needs to seriously investigate this organization. MOHELA has never earned a star. None of the account holders customer service is worth mentioning. However, they have a habit of telling lies & disconnecting calls when asked valid questions & one requests extra payments be applied to the principal. They also neglect to read the same on checks pertaining to specifically requested disbursements be applied to the various account(s) (disbursement dates).

      MOHELA, shame on you!! You are playing the the financial well being of current and prior students! You do not "service" anyone, as we are unable to reach you for loan assistance!! A three hour wait is a minimum! Even a call back request isn't successful, as the calls are not returned. As an example, this time I awoke at 5AM PST to make the call to catch someone upon opening. At 5:03AM as my hold began, I was quoted an estimated 4 hour wait! I'm currently holding yet again, only to likely run out of available holding time and never speak to a Mohela representative. In the meantime, my loan payements ara mounting and I'm receiving email after email to resolve or I could be reported to credite bureaus and wages could be garnished. Yet I cannot get any assistance to inform you that I am CURRENLTLY in school. Contaced ************** and spoke to someone without a problem, yet they informed me that I must speak to my servicer to clear things up....YET I CAN'T GET YOU TO PICK UP THE PHONE! This is so wrong. You are a poor, poor provider, and if you cannot handle your volume and actually help students as you are here to do, then you should hand the job to someone who can. SHAME ON YOU MOHELA! This is unacceptable!!!

      I am writing to express my extreme frustration and dissatisfaction with the service I have received from your company. I have been attempting to resolve issues related to my student loan account, but I have encountered numerous obstacles, including long wait times, confusion over my account information, and poor customer service that has only exacerbated my concerns.Firstly, I have been unable to locate my account despite multiple attempts. According to **************, MOHELA is listed as my loan servicer, yet I am unable to get clear assistance from your team. The wait times to speak with a representative are absolutely unacceptable. I have been left on hold for as long as 5 Hours, which is outrageous.This entire experience has left me feeling helpless and incredibly frustrated. Not only am I concerned about making my extremely large loan payment on time, but I also fear that my personal information may have been compromised, possibly leading to identity theft. At this point, I have no idea what steps I should take to resolve these issues, and I am at my wit's end.I am not alone in feeling this waymany other borrowers share the same complaints regarding your long hold times, poor customer service, and lack of clarity about their accounts. Frankly, ********************** does not deserve any positive rating based on the experience I have had. I am requesting immediate attention to my account, an explanation of what is happening, and assurance that my information is secure.
