      They don't even deserve a rating. I have a lot of the same complaints as most of the borrowers have waiting on hold as long as 3 hours and 27 minutes. Today i opted to get a call back and all the person did was listen to my issue/concerns about my account and confirmed my contact information and told me she would connect me to advanced representative and when she did i ended up back in the loop with a hold time of 2 hours and 12 mins and someone did pick up but that's all they did because they disconnected the call. I have no idea what to do about no only making my extremely large payment but also the possible identify theft that may or may not have occurred.

      A HORRIBLE BUSINESS that took over another student loan business that I was paying. They have a six to eight hour hold to speak to someone...FU$$ING RIDICULOUS!!

      Seems like nothing but problems since I switched from a aidvantage to MOHELA. Online it hasnt recognized my account nor can I sign in or login using social or account number. Wouldnt let me make a payment over the phone on the automated system. When I called during slower hours Thursday and Friday, it gave me a two hour wait time. Online with two different approaches it gave me an error message. Id rather be back with aidvantage.

      Put in a request to change from the SAVE plan to another **** approved IBR plan on 12/04/2024. Now halfway through February 2025, still in review and you sit on hold for hours just to get disconnected, as others have stated. How does this company hold a government contract to service loan holders? Who do they know in ** that got them this contract? No one in charge (previous or current administration) seems to actually care about student loan borrowers.

      Today I was on hold from 12:45 to 4:45 pm with MOHELA. My wait time was approximately 2 hours. After behind on hold for FOUR HOURS I heard two beeps and a few seconds later the call was disconnected. I want to document this inappropriate pattern of behavior by the loan servicer.

      Hold time is over 2 hours with an option to get a call back but they never call you back. So I stood on hold for over 3 hours and still no operator. My loan was transferred July 2024 so my attempt to call them to get 1098e Tax Statement for the 1st part of 2024 but can't access my old account and when I try to "contact them" via email no option because I have no account.Can't reach anyone, Can't email anyone and only option is to be on hold and hope that a human eventually picks up the line

      This place is ridiculous.2 years ago I have the last little bit of my student loans forgiven. It was only about 2000. Then all of a sudden out of the blue it pops up on my credit report tanking it. Saying I still owe money? I've disputed it multiple times and tried to contact the company and gotten nothing in response. This company ***** and shouldn't be allowed to continue doing this to people

      I had a similar issue with Mohela where I kept asking them over and over again and they did not provide a full summary of all my payments and short changed some of my payment. They were making excuses that their Website transition was the issue. It is impossible to get them on the phone and when you do the staff or supervisors do not have any authority are understaffed to fix issues nor are they able to follow up. After several tries I wrote a complaint to the Missouri ************************ through their website because Mohela is a business located in Missouri and within 2 weeks my issue was resolved. The difference of amounts were adjusted and I got my full payment summary since I got the loan. The BBB resolved issue for me in the past with other business and they do an excellent job but it is very hard to get Mohela to resolve issue so you need to try with more then one authority. To file a complaint to the Missouri ************************, search on the web for "Consumer Complaints | *********************** of Missouri" and make sure the site URL ends with ****** and then open the page. Under "File a Complaint" click on "online submission" and file your complaints. Some advise, take photos using your mobile, scan or download all your evidence before you start filing the complaint and make sure you provide all the details with dates, amounts as best as possible and they will fix your issue..

      I've been on hold with this garbage company for 4 hours and not gotten ahold of anyone. Mohela needs to be sued into oblivion and removed from existence.

      Worst company ever! And I thought Navient and ****** *** were bad. How on earth does the government allow this company to service consumers' student loans, private or otherwise? I've spoken with Supervisors TWICE in order to try and find a solution/repayment program that works for me and BOTH times they have said "your account does not qualify for anything other than your standard repayment of $916.16." If I could pay it I would. Not to mention that I've been paying on this loan for almost 20 years and I STILL owe more than I did when I originally got the loan (this is not a simple interest loan - the unpaid interest goes into the principal and new interest charged on the new balance - so an exponentially growing student loan balance. These private student loan systems should be illegal! It's robbery and there really are NO organizations that I have found who actually advocate for the consumer in these situations. It is such a shame our government and government-connected organizations allow this to go on.
