On 2/2722024, I was contacted by a company claiming to be a ************* auto warranty provider, phone # ************, and was offered a program for coverage of repairs and maintenance for my 2016 SLK 300. I agreed to the coverage and was expecting a Welcome package providing the details of the program. I never received that package. On 3/29/24 and 4/29/24, automatic withdrawals from my checking account were made by EFS Omega, phone # ************, for $185 each. Its evident to me that this company is conducting fraudulent activities. I have been unable to reach anyone from either of the 2 phone numbers Ive provided in this message. I would like your help to cancel this coverage and obtain a refund of $470 from them.Thank you for your help.*********************Business Response

I appreciate your response. However, you said you dont issue or cancel policies and will contact the company. Why did you not offer the contact details to me? In my original complaint, I advised that I was unable to reach anyone at either of the phone numbers I have. What contact information do you have that I do not? A vehicle service contract for your Mercedes 2016 SLK 300 was purchased on 2/27/2024 from Vanguard Vehicle Armor, a company selling policies on behalf of ****************
EFS Companies is the company responsible for processing the monthly payments for that coverage. We do not sell or cancel these contracts. We can be reached at ************ from 8-5 PM C.T. If all **** are busy assisting other customers, you will be placed in the waiting queue, so should not have an issue reaching us.Vanguard Vehicle Armors customer service number is ************,from 8-5 P.M. They will be able to assist you with any questions you have requiring that coverage. I did reach out to Vanguard regarding your concerns. My mother (who has dementia) has been charged $79.99 per month beginning in September 2023 by a company listed as EFS OMEGA 844-24222633 MO on her checking account statement. As far as I can determine, this company sells warranty protection for home and/or home appliances. My mother does not own a home, and she does not own any appliances. My suspicion is that she received a phone call solicitation of some sort in September 2023, and signed up for this warranty protection. I do not believe she has received anything in writing from this company regarding this "protection". In the event this is about an auto warranty (also reportedly offered by this company), my mother does not own a car.I have contacted and spoken with individuals who identify themselves as solely handling billing for this company. They have provided me phone number to reach someone who can cancel this monthly charge. I am complaining about an unsigned contract mailed to my 85 year old mother, stating they will debit her bank acct $99.99 each month for a home maintenance package. My mother has demintia and isn't even paying her own bills. It is ashame that there are such horrible people in the world preying on the elderly. Although I can only see six payments made to this company on my online bank statement I never heard of this company. I can recover more on the charges made to my account for 191.00 a month since who knows when...the charges occur ever 16th of the month.
I am 86 years of age and do not recall being involved with this company based on the information that I can barely understand having to do with business and investments.
Sadly I do not tend to my statements on line trusting the federal credit union since 2017.
