She is 86 years old, lives on her own in *********, **. at *************************** and suffers from early onset Dimentia. In April 2023 timeframe, her dryer started making a squeaking noise. I live in Georgia so was unable to assess the noise source. So, I called the ***** Home Repair to arrange a Service Call. A technician arrived on 13 Apr and repaired the dryer. My Mom wrote a check (Check # ****) $292.68 for Work Order #*************** Dryer Repair. I do not have a copy of the work order and my Mom could not recall the details. Then, in July, I notice a charge on her Credit Card fom EFS in the amount of $79.99. On 8 Aug, the same charge appeared again (see above) so I called the number on the Credit Card Line and found out it was for a ********************** I explained that my Mom did not need a ********************* and was on a fixed income. I requested that the Service be cancelled and was told that the Service was now cancelled. On 8 Aug, the charge appeared again. Once more I called the number and explained that my Mom did not need a ********************** I again requested that the Service be cancelled immediately. Again, I was told that it was now cancelled. As of Oct 2023, It appears that the charge is still active.Taking advantage of a disabled elderly person in this way is unacceptable. We reached out to the seller, who stated that they did speak to you, and although they tried to retain your business, agreed to cancel your policy. Unfortunately ******* failed to actually do so, and for that we would like to apologize.
Additionally, we have refunded ALL payments, and they should be visible in your mother's account in 3-5 business days. Sorry for any inconvenience. I would like to add, that this was completely unrelated to the repair with Sears.

I contacted the business and was transfer to the company. That supposedly I got the contract from. And was given the run around, saying that they have everything on recording that this was purchased by me, however, this is rep payee account for a social security account so this is not possible. I did not purchase this. I want this canceled. I want a refund and I want this s*** to stop. This is not appropriate, for them to do this. You purchased a Repair Assist Program on 4/4/22 for your 2017 Toyota Camry. Please the seller of the policy at ***** ******** for further assistance.
For future reference, you can get issues like this resolved much faster by calling the number next to any charge on your credit/bank account, as this will take you directly to the company that processed the payment. In our case, we are just a payment processor, and did not sell you the coverage. However , we would have happily provided you with the information needed to contact them.

Got something in the mail saying it was urgent to contact *** **** to activate my extended warranty. Once I called it was it explained I had to make a one time payment to activate my warranty. That was in July. This week I got another charge. Got the booklet in the mail today and saw it was an 18 month recurring charge. I called the number. I talked to an individual and started questioning the recurring charges and that I had already paid for a extended warranty at the dealership. With some hesitation I was able to get it canceled. I received two letters from EFS Companies, LLC that was a bill. It had my car (Buick Encore 2022) on it but didn't specify exactly what it was for, it asked for $200 and I paid that because I wasn't sure at first that it was a scam and didn't want to get in trouble. When the second one came in it asked for $402 and that's when I caught on and started looking it up and realized that it had nothing to do with auto anything. You contacted the seller vi phone on 2-20-23 to set up a Vehicle Service Agreement for your vehicle, but have not had contact with you in their customer service department since you purchased the policy. A billing department representative spoke to you on 4-13-23 and you provided an updated billing method to process the past due payment. Another billing department representative spoke to you on 6-12-23 and the you asked that the card on file be used to process the payment. On 6-23-23 called their billing department again, and processed an additional payment so that the billing account was in current standing. They have not received any indication that there was an issue with the you Vehicle Service Agreement, or billing account. Since being notified of the your complaint, they have attempted multiple phone calls and left two voice messages, which you have not returned. At this time the Vehicle Service Agreement and billing account have been cancelled.

At no point have we tried to be vague at all. Our customer service magaer, as well as the selling agents have tried to reach you on MULTIPLE occasions, but with no luck.
I have attached a copy of your full policy, with all contact information of everyone involved. On the declaration page you will se a sections that says "SELLER", which is who you would be best served to speak to. EFS Companies only processes payments, and do not solicit, sell, or cancel policies.

This is in further response to the rejected response previously received. I wanted to supply some additional information to assist on this, for Im uncertain whether youve successfully been able to resolve this claim.
A vehicle service contract for your 2022 Buick Encore was purchased on 2/20/2023 from Sky Services, a company selling policies on behalf of **************** If you received a billing statement reflecting a double payment due, the statement crossed in the mail with the payment for the month. Billing statements are issued approximately 3 weeks prior to the due date for the monthly coverage.
EFS Companies is the company responsible for processing the monthly payments for that coverage. We do not sell or cancel these contracts. We can be reached at ************ from 8-5 PM C.T.
Sky Services customer service number is ************, from 10-5 P.M. C.T. They will be able to assist you with any questions you have regarding that coverage. Please reference your contract number SASKY166679.
I did reach out to Sky Services regarding your concerns. They had attempted to contact you on several occasions, receiving voicemail. Sky Services also advised the following:
This customer contacted us by phone call on 2-20-23 to set up a *************** Agreement for her vehicle.
