      Varsity Tutors has a fantastic comprehensive intake process and they take matching the tutor to your student seriously. The person we connected with has been working with my gr 11 and gr 9 students and we are thrilled with progress! Highly recommend checking them out for extra support!

      This is a total scam. I signed up for one-on-one tutoring classes in June this year, and I was never told that there was an ongoing membership fee of $299. I was only told that the hourly cost for the tutor is $75, and that's it. I just took 15 hours of tutoring sessions. And they have been charging my credit card $299 every month since then. I never paid attention to credit card transactions line by line until last night. And I found they took a hefty $299*6= $1794 from me for no reason. I told the associate I spoke with last night that they could retrieve the phone conversation during signing up if that was on the recorded line. They asked that was in the Terms and Conditions. Does anyone read all the fine print page by page? It is very crucial information I should have known before signing up. I want all my money to be refunded without any further delay. A class action lawsuit should be filed against this business. It's totally unethical and fraudulent.

      ********* membership costs. The *** I spoke with knew I only wanted 1 month / 8 sessions. He never mentioned that I was signing up for a continual membership , nor that I would need to cancel anything. When I asked for a refund for the extra months I was charged for , I was told no and the person I talked to could do nothing about it. Wouldnt connect me with someone higher up.

      My company offers Varsity Tutors as a benefit for our family and two of my kids have been using it for about the last year. Weve had mixed success finding the right fit (personality and skill) but overall the experience has been good. Im not sure how I would feel if we were paying for the service directly - it seems like a standard tutoring offering - but I havent had any major complaints. Its also much better than what is offered through their school. The tutors actually show up and seem excited to be there!

      Have Varsity Tutors with my sons. A very positive experience overall. Varsity tutors prides itself on its customer service and ability to find the right tutors. Even when an initial match needs to be changed, Varsity Tutors responds quickly to find a replacement. Extremely customer service oriented.

      I purchased this service to assist my son with a college course. We were placed with a tutor within the same week services were paid for. The tutor canceled 3 minutes before the tutoring session. I reported the tutor to the customer service department and he was removed from our profile. We were then placed on another waitlist for tutor placement. It took a week for the next tutor and I had to call multiple time complaining about the timeframe. I was told a tutor would be assigned within ***** hours and it took a week. The representative I talked to next set the tutoring session with the new tutor for the next day. The new tutor also canceled a minute before the session. This company is ************* is also very expensive to spend 3 weeks without receiving one tutoring session.
