      I placed my order with Stark Bros on March 22 and received an order acknowledgment on the 23rd. Since then, Ive been notified weekly that my shipment has been delayedyet with no clear resolution. Ive reached out multiple times via phone and email, and each time Ive received a different excuse from the representatives.Despite several requests to at least ship the available items separately, nothing has been sent. As of today, April 16, I still havent received a single part of my order.If youre considering ordering from Stark Bros, I strongly suggest taking my experience into account. The lack of follow-through and communication has been extremely frustrating.

      Please know that we dont like to make excuses. Our goal is always to be as transparent as possible, and we truly regret the lack of clarity and follow-through in your case. The changing responses you received were not meant to mislead you, but rather reflect updated information we were receiving in real-time.
      Unfortunately, weather conditions in Northeast ******** during February and March were particularly harsh this year, which significantly delayed our harvesting scheduleboth at our facility and with our partner growers. While weve been working as quickly and efficiently as possible to catch up and ship orders by the estimated dates provided, the environmental challenges made this difficult in some cases.
      Ive reviewed your order and see that one itema Moonglow Pearwas holding up shipment. Our team reached out to you on April 5 and is still awaiting your response on how youd like to proceed. In the meantime, Ive personally taken action to ship the rest of your order so that you dont face any further delay.
      We are truly sorry that this experience has fallen short of expectations. We appreciate your patience and the opportunity to make things right. If theres anything further I can do to help, please dont hesitate to reach out.

      Awful ordered strawberry in March 2025 April 2025 no plants couldn't reach no one avoid at all possible cost.they try to avoid customers when they call very poor service if I could have given them a minus one star I would have.they have lost a long time customer great job at that

      We sincerely apologize for the delay in getting your strawberry plants shipped and for the frustration this has caused. We understand how disappointing this experience has been, especially as a longtime customer, and we are truly sorry to have let you down.
      Unfortunately, we experienced unusually frigid weather in February and March, which delayed harvesting and preparation for many of our live plant orders. While we always strive to meet the estimated ship dates provided at the time of purchase, the nature of working with live, perishable plants can present challengesespecially when weather impacts our growing and digging schedule.
      That said, this should have been communicated more clearly, and we regret that you had trouble reaching us. That is not the level of service we aim to provide.
      Ive personally contacted our shipping manager and requested that your order be shipped immediately. As a token of our apology, your strawberry plants are being sent at no charge, and a full refund has been processed back to your original method of payment. This should reflect in your account within 13 business days.
      We value the trust youve placed in us over the years and are genuinely sorry that this experience has shaken that trust. If theres anything else I can do to help or make this right, please dont hesitate to reach out.

      I ordered for the current growing season. Website says it ships in early April. Confirmation email says the same. Within days they delayed shipping to mid June. Now they are saying late August. Just in time for winter. Nothing but 1 star reviews since March I see... Nobody is getting their plants on time because they are selling plants that don't exist yet. You can't sell someone an oak tree first and then plant the acorn.

Unfortunately, this season weve encountered unexpected setbacks with our growers and supply chain, which have impacted the availability and shipment timing of certain items. While this is not the level of service we aim to provide, we do appreciate your patience as we work through these challenges.
      Your comment about selling plants that dont exist yet is not taken lightly. We assure you we do not list products with the intent to mislead. In most seasons, our inventory and shipping projections align more closely with what we communicate. However, this spring brought about delays in hardgoods and unpredictable growing conditions that affected our schedule in a way we did not anticipate.
      We recognize the importance of receiving plants during the appropriate time for your growing zone, and we are doing everything we can to ensure your order arrives in good condition and ready for planting.       Thank you for your feedback, and please accept our sincerest apologies for the delay in getting your order to you. We completely understand your frustrationwaiting since March 13th, with multiple shipping postponements, is far from the experience we aim to provide.
      Unfortunately, we were waiting for a shipment of our hardgoods to arrive before we could fulfill your order, which caused unexpected delays on our end. That said, we know how important it is for products to arrive on time, and we deeply regret the inconvenience this has caused.
      As a token of our apology, weve issued a full refund for your order and have also gone ahead and shipped your 1-pound bag of fertilizer. According to tracking, its scheduled to arrive today, April 12th.
      Again, were very sorry for the trouble and thank you for your patience. We truly value your business and hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.

      I live in the south. Ordered a fruit tree from Stark Bros and one from a competitor this winter. Competitor shipped dormant tree about a month back. It came out of dormancy naturally and is growing great.Tree from Stark Bros shows it won't ship until mid-april to arrive later in April. It is supposed to ship dormant. Trees in my area will be well over a month out of dormancy when it arrives. Chance of survival will be slim. When I ask why it is shipping so late, I'm told they are allowing to grow a little bit longer. 100% lie as these trees are ********** make matters worse, I received an email from Stark Bros stating it shipped early (last week) and it would arrive by March 30th. Waited all weekend for my tree. Received another email on April 1st stating it didn't ship and would be shipped mid-late April.I asked for an explanation, they denied I received an email that it shipped in March. I finally sent them a screen shot but still waiting for an explanation that was promised 5 days ago.Bottom line. Very poor customer service and trees don't arrive at the appropriate planting season down South. 2nd order from Stark Bros. Second failed order. Won't happen ******** yourself a favor and order from a company that understands customer service.

      We are truly sorry for the frustration and delays you've experienced. We understand how disappointing it is to be told your tree was shipping, only to receive a follow-up stating otherwise and we sincerely apologize for the confusion caused by conflicting emails. Thats not the level of communication or service we aim to provide.
      When you placed your preorder in early February, we provided an estimated shipping window, but unfortunately, those dates are subject to change due to weather conditions. Since we are located in ********, our ability to dig and prepare trees is entirely weather-dependent, and this season brought extended frigid temperatures across the ******* in February and March, delaying our harvest operations.
      Once conditions allowed us to resume digging, your tree was harvested and moved into the grading and preparation phase, which involves a great deal of manual effort to ensure the quality of each plant before shipment. While we always strive to hit our estimated shipping windows, these weather and labor-intensive factors can sometimes cause unavoidable delays.
      To make this right, we've gone ahead and reached out to our  shipping department to get shipped  and your tree  will be at no charge and have processed a full refund to your original payment method as a token of our apology.
      We understand your concern about planting timing in the South, and we want to reassure you that the tree is kept in cold storage to maintain dormancy. When it arrives, it will still be in a plantable, dormant state and should break dormancy quickly in your warmer zone.
      We appreciate your feedback and take it seriously. If there's anything more we can do or if you need additional assistance, please feel free to reach out directly. We are here to help and truly value your business even if this experience didnt meet expectations.

      I placed an order on 2/7/2025 and still have not received my order. Constant delays in shipping, various reasons provided from weather, quality of the tree from their growers to they are back logged in shipping because they received so many orders. Buyer beware - not sure how they continue to receive such favorable ratings with such poor service. Misleading web site, items state they are available to ship which is false in most cases.

      All of my cherry and lime trees from them died, even the ones covered with that one year warranty. All trees grown with care and attention frustratingly died within 2 years after the amount of money I spent, fertilized, mulched, watered, and protected

      I was visiting Stark Bros to look into getting some kiwi ***** plants to go with the one I had already bought elsewhere. I used their "Live Chat" feature as I did not know what type of plant I had, male or female. The answer to this question would determine my purchase(s). I was lucky to get a "Live Chat" *** named ******. Not only was she able to tell me I had a male pollinator in hand, but she was also able to tell me how many female plants he could pollinate. She also helped me to determine where I should place my trellis for these plants in my garden plot. She was very professional, speedy, and straight to the point. It is always wonderful to get someone who knows their business so well. I would recommend Stark Bros to all my gardening friends due to their excellent customer service and the great experience I had with ******.

      I have ordered several items from ********* Nursery and can say I have not been disappointed in the product, the customer service or their response time with orders and chat contact. They are knowledgeable and happy to share their wisdom. I highly recommend them.

      In 2023 I ordered raspberry plants. I did order late in the spring as I had recently moved and was excited to get a raspberry patch going. None of the pants grew. I sent a picture to Stark Brothers as requested. I was quickly offered a refund or credit for 2024. I chose the credit. The new plants arrived and all grew. I even got a few purple berries right away. The golden berries produced in the fall. Excellent customer service.
