  If I could give zero stars, I would! I have been receiving multiple mailed correspondence from this company completely unsolicited. It would maybe not seem like a scam if they bothered to 1. Use my correct legal name. And 2. Used a car I even own! I get multiple weekly mailings about a car that I do not and have never owned. They even send checks which are obviously fake as well. Do not fall for this nonsense

  They send predatory letters on pink paper claiming your warranty is expired on your vehicle to get you to give them your private information. A letter with no business name or address. They tried to deceive me into buying an extended warranty because my brand new trucks warranty was "expired" 1 month after I drove off the lot. They also sent a new letter claiming a vehicle I've never owned warranty is expiring now. On bright pink paper trying to trick people. The call people are even trained to mumble or lie to the spelling of the company when asked. Predatory and deceitful business practices.

  This company is a piece of trash trying to scam people who don't fully know what their Manufacturer Warranty is. Do not trust this company they are just trying to get your money BEWARE !!!!

  I received an offensive/threatening letter with no letterhead to show Eleras Automotive Group and no address for me to respond "in writing" to. So I called the 888 number shown and told the man I wanted the name of his company and the address. He mumbled Aleros or airless or something almost unintelligible and said to look it up on line and call for an address -- and he hung up on me. So I went online, took time, found Eleras Automotive Group. Decided to file "my review with BBB" and will also send the ***** a written letter now that I know their name and address (worth me paying for a stamp just to express my opinion of their tactics). ****** should disassociate it's corporation from Eleras -- the communication I received was offensive and is doing harm to the ****** name, in my opinion.

  Scammers..."Immediate Response requested", "Official Business".....Penalty for private use, $300. What a bunch of **......so say my dead mother (3 years ago) got this notice (got it yesterday) scarring her into thinking she didn't have insurance on her car that was 3 CARS AGO. I've called and asked that my dead mothers name be removed from their mailings,,,,did they? That would be a fat NO. If there was a minus star, it would be minus 10 stars.

  They repeatedly keep calling me despite my repeated response of "please stop calling me". Every time they reply back with "I didn't know". Then the next day, I will get another phone call. The most recent call, I asked them for the name of the company, which they replied to. Then I asked for their name and then hung up on me. I called them back three time, each time they hung up on me. I have informed them that this is harassment, and they insist on still calling me. This must be one poor excuse of a company if they have no record keeping of who they are calling. P.S. ****** * definitely works for them. No one leaves a review like that. In fact, I don't think anyone else has.

  Definitely a scam, trying to fool you into thinking that it's from your manufacturer. No real company name on it, and it says "penalty for private use" which is another way they're trying to trick people.

  If as your response says "The Eleras Group provides coverage through some of the best administrators in the protection plan industry." Then why the deceptive letters, that are deliberately made to look like they're from the government or the vehicle manufacturer. If not a SCAM, then come right out and say so. Do not use wording in an attempt to scare people into calling you, then giving them the hard sell, trying again to scaring them into using you. At best your just a middle man getting a big cut out every sale, if people think they need this (which they do not) they should go directly to a company that actually sells the plans.

  What a joke! Customer service from this company is just
  awful. My experience with the sales agent was very unfortunate as he
  seemed very annoyed when I wanted to ask questions and details about
  what was covered and what was not. I called back a second time to ask
  more questions, and he was annoyed that I was asking more questions, and
  said to refer to my contractual agreement, which did not answer my
  questions.
  After doing a little more research on my own, I changed my mind and
  decided to cancel.
  Upon calling in to cancel the next day, I told the customer service
  representative upfront that I did not want to discuss the reasons for my
  cancel, or get into an argument, I just wanted to cancel my policy and
  get refunded and move on. The customer service agent then persisted and
  asked me again and again why I wanted to cancel, and what I would do
  without coverage and was relentless on not letting me cancel. After I
  finally got a little bit upset and pushed a little harder, he
  relentlessly agreed to cancel my agreement.
  I just think it’s pretty unprofessional that a company would teach or
  promote the kind of customer service that they do.
  Maybe if they had better customer service and respected the wishes of
  the customers, instead of fighting tooth and nail against them, they
  would have better ratings and people would want to work with them.

He asked why you wanted to cancel? This is their job to get to the reason why a customer wants to cancel so we can better serve other potential customers. I want to assure you this account has been cancelled and the down payment was credited to the original form of payment.   I think this is a scam. First, I receive letters with no return address. Not illegal, but not very business like. Upon opening the letter, there is NO BUSINESS NAME anywhere in the letter. Just how bad is the compny that they don't to let you know who they are? So I called and asked, "Just who are you? There is no information in your letter". She answered something I didn't understand. I said "if you cannot put your name anyplace in the received letter" and she said good bye and thanks for cfalling and hung up. I looked the number on the letter ** in the computer and is listed as Eleras Automotive located in ********************, **. There are 4 numbers listed in their information listing. None are the same as I have in the letter. The only company listed is Eleras Automotive Group. That would mean to me there are sub-companies associated with the Group. If the Group has a D+ rating, then what are the ratings of the sub-companies? I tried to tell the lady I no longer have the vehicle they want to insure, but she hung up before I could finish. Not a professional outfit.

  Received a scam letter. The letter had no business information on it, only my vehicle information and a number to call. Upon investigation it is clearly a scam and very unscrupulous. These people should be ashamed of their for ripping of vulnerable people and the elderly. I know the poor flying monkeys will reply with some rediculous narcissistic derived comment trying to claim legitimacy, but this company is anything but legitimate. I hope this helps someone.
