Do not ever sign up with this company!!!!! Terrible service and THEY WILL NOT REPAIR YOUR VEHICLE. Bought their coverage when I purchased a used vehicle. After only **** miles had an issue with the truck shifting. Had my wife call in to place a claim(which she is also on the account) and they told her I had to speak with them they couldnt talk to her. Once I was able to take a day off to put in the claim they declined my claim saying I didnt take immediate action! I did take action I had my wife call in to make a claim immediately. All in all this is the worst company I have ever done business with and I would hate for anyone else to go through what Ive had to. THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM!!!Lariat Automotive Group, LLC

To Whom it May ********** sincerely apologize for the denial of your claim through ***********************. Here at Lariat Automotive Group, we are unable to override an administrators decision to approve or deny any claims. Your wife is indeed listed as a 2nd name on the policy; however, she isnt listed as a 2nd policy holder. Any time we receive a concern regarding a claim, we investigate the concern immediately, we do not have access to any claims department, we are a selling agent.******************************* replied to our investigation that Claim #***** was denied due to Not taking immediate action per the customers statement that the problem started on August 31, 2023 as well as the check engine light came on, but went off on 9/25/2023. *** customer stated the vehicle was lurching while driving and a service maintenance warning light came on, it was also stated by the customer the RPMs went incredibly high before slamming down and decided to bring in the vehicle on 10/03/23 and the repair facility started the claim on the transmission. *** customer was 95 days into the policy with 437 miles. *** customer is notified on the activation call as well as the policy states the policy comes with a 30 day AND ***** mile waiting period to ensure everything is running okay on the vehicle.SECTION III. CONTRACT HOLDERS RESPONSIBILITIES:Prevent Further Damage- Immediately take action to prevent further damage to Your Vehicle. *** operator of Your Vehicle is responsible for observing Vehicle warning lights, gauges, and sensory items that indicate a potential Breakdown. Upon this observation, you must immediately arrange for the vehicle to be diagnosed. Failure to properly take this action may result in the denial of claims. At this time all we are able to offer at Lariat Automotive Group is to process the prorated refund and it will be mailed to you within 30 days. We apologize there isnt anything further we are able to do. Any changes in the decision will have to go directly through your administrator. Thank you for your time.Review fromPhillip P

Complete scam! I was pressured into applying and went to cancel policy and I could not get them on the phone!Lariat Automotive Group, LLC

To whom it may concern,We were surprised to receive your review stating we were a scam on October 29, 2023, however, I actually show not only that you were able to get ahold of our customer service department on October 20, 2023 during our normal business hours, but your account was also cancelled and refunded on the same day. I'm not sure where you couldn't get us on the phone as you also called to set up the coverage on October 20, 2023 & I apologize for your misunderstanding ******************, but we show you handled everything on October 20, 2023 start to finish. Thank you.Review fromTara F

Worst customer service experience I have ever had. I thought I was contacting the motor vehicles services of Colorado since I had just registered my car and their advertising is very misleading to look legit. Felt extremely pressured to sign up for coverage when I didnt want it. I went to cancel the next day and was continued to be pressured into keeping their coverage to the point I was in tears. The customer service representative spoke to me with such disrespect and end the call by wishing me good luck with my future repairs, as if she wants my car to break down. Biggest scam ever, do not buy anything from this business, my experience was absolutely terrible.Lariat Automotive Group, LLC

To Whom it May ********** apologize for the way you feel regarding your experience with us. We do not take reviews lightly and fully investigate the account at hand to ensure our representatives are following all efforts and procedures when handling every consumers file. This includes listening to all the conversations that took place with you and our agents. We have concluded there were a total of 4 calls that took place. You had your initial call with the activations agent on 10/11/2023 and you had also called 2 times on 10/12/2023 and disconnected the call while on hold at under 3 minutes, so we apologize when that happens it sends your call to the end of the queue when you call back. You reached customer service to cancel your account due to financial reasons and that you werent quite ready to take on the extra expense. The customer service agent then asked a few questions that would potentially lead up to granting a better payment plan for you, however the efforts were declined, and you were cancelled, and she also stated you would get a refund. You asked again if you were getting the refund and she again stated you were getting one and your account was cancelled. She even tried to reassure you that you were getting a refund and reminded you its also stated 2 times in every activation call. Based on your closing of the conversation, didnt care for the reclarification, and she did state best of luck with your vehicle only to confirm if anything happened going forward, we are no longer liable to cover your vehicle.I would like to clear up the review where you stated, I thought I was contacting the motor vehicles services of Colorado since I had just registered my car and their advertising is very misleading to look legit. Felt extremely pressured to sign up for coverage when I didnt want it. He answered the phone *************************** You then stated you got a notice in the mail to update our records. The agent stated so then youre calling to update your extended coverage on the vehicle, you stated yes. You also asked if your car was still under factory coverage, and he explained from what we can see you had powertrain coverage up until **** or ****** miles. ***** was nothing to indicate you werent interested other than the monthly payments needed to be lower than his initial payment plan to make it more affordable for you, other than that you were agreeing to the plan for the entire call.We understand there are always going to be consumers that set up policies and then cancel them within their monetary review period or thereafter. We are not in a business to make you keep something you dont want, as we want our consumers to want the coverage to protect their vehicle. We do however have several different options we can offer to get you on a policy that better suits you as the consumer. We are 100% okay with you not wanting to go with the service, but it is required to try and retain a customer rather than lose one if we are able to make the customer happy with their decision by helping with the budget, plan, etc. In this case we are sorry to see you go but thank you for your review.Review fromLiberty P

Thank you for your review, however you just set up yesterday with a *********************** who is an "A" rated company through the better business bureau. After reviewing the phone call with your activation specialist, found she had fully explained what type of contract this was and you decided to purchase. She also provided the customer service number @ ************** in case you would need to call back 2 different times. In order to cancel you could have just called in to customer service instead of writing the ******************** as if we are refusing to cancel your account since also stating you would call the police. We have gladly cancelled your account and the refund will return within 5-7 business days. I hope have a better day Liberty. Your refund email confirmation was sent to ******************** Thank you for your time.Review fromHunter M

I received mail from Lariat under the name ************** Services" stating that "registration is required for continued protection" and that I have "not contacted them to have the vehicle service protection for my vehicle updated." They listed the name of my vehicle and the dealership I purchased my vehicle from, and I had financed a vehicle service contract at the time of purchase, so I assumed that this was a legitimate notice for my existing contract.I went ahead and called them, and they listed out what my "protection" covered and suggested that I owed a $165 registration fee, so I agreed to give them my payment information, again assuming this was for my existing coverage. Only afterwards did they mention this would be $165 over 18 months and that my coverage was through Lariat Automotive. I called them back, and the customer service representative insisted that I stay with them because their coverage wasn't financed and I wouldn't be charged interest. Nonetheless, they did agree to refund my $165, but we will see if they actually follow through with that.In short, Lariat Automotive uses deceptive marketing under the guise of official vehicle notices to trick you into purchasing their vehicle service contracts. If you receive mail from ************** Services" - beware! It is likely a scam.Lariat Automotive Group, LLC

I apologize for the misunderstanding that occurred regarding the piece of mail you received. The Registration is required is stated because our policies arent automatically activated until you have spoken with an activation specialist. Your name, vehicle information, and address are forms of public information we receive once a vehicle has been purchased. We never stated we were with ******* only that you are allowed to take your vehicle wherever you wish, even if its back to ******* You and the activation specialist discussed what they could qualify your vehicle for. There was no indication of a misunderstanding on the call and the representative explained everything to you regarding the coverage. The $165 is a down payment to get the coverage started you will need to pay a deposit of $165 to get the coverage activated not registered. The representative also stated that we were updating our records not Toyotas. You called back to cancel on the same day and spoke with a customer service specialist who was only trying to see if there was anything we could do to retain your business rather than lose it since you had just set up the policy. We do require our representatives to attempt to make any customer happy because that is our policy. The customer service representative went over our payments being on a no fee payment plan as well as explaining you arent stuck in the policy. She then asked if you had any interest in comparing the two policies. You stated no and your policy was cancelled in less than 2.5 minutes. You set up the policy on 9/29/23 at 2:55PM, called to cancel 9/29/23 at 3:45PM at which time it was explained the full refund would come back to you within 3-5 business days, it was refunded at 9:00PM on 9/29/23 and also sent the confirmation email to ****************** and then received the complaint at 8:54AM on 9/30/23. **************** is not open on Saturdays so when the complaint came through, I chose to email the refund confirmation again. Thank you for your time, but we also feel a warning wasnt necessary as we are not a scam and return all our customers refunds in full in the first 30 days. Have a wonderful day ******************. 1 starI got my 2021 ****** Altima in January of this year. Lariat Automotive Group, LLC kept calling to offer an extended warranty. My car came with a 1 year warranty from the dealership I bought it from. So I decided to go with them. Ive paid 4 months. But all of a sudden my Bank Card is locked up because of fraudulent charges. My first 3 payments were debited from another company. Then the 4th was from Paylink. So I speak with them and they are sorry about the mix up. But want me to call and give them my new card number. They have been calling me non stop for a month. I call the ****** Dealership to see if they have ever heard of this company before and they say no. So I call them back an all of a sudden they arent Paylink or Lariat Automotive Group, LLC they are called something else. I ask to speak to a supervisor and Im told one is not available because they are on the other. I say I can wait but they werent happy about that. I keep getting out on hold to just to get hung up on. This company is FRAUD PLEASE DONT USE THEM UNLESS YOU HAVE EXTRA MONEY TO LOOSEReview fromJoe H

After speaking with a representative at your company, I decided to stay with a company that I have had since May. That's right, I had 2 extended warranties on my car. I could not believe all the amenities offered by the first company. On the advice of my financial advisor, I would like to cancel your warranty for my car. I tried to cancel this morning but the women on the other end would not give me an opportunity to voice my thoughts. She just asked about the cost of the other company, told me it was too high, offered me a drop in price to $90.60 and told me to read the literature on your company. Please do not try and change my mind. It is my decision and I will stick with it. I expect my warranty to be cancelled immediately. Do not make this an impossible task. I will have my advisor checking my bank and credit card statements. ********************* TO MY KNOWLEDGE, I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A PAMPHET ON YOUR COMPANY;;THEREFORE I HAVE NO CONTRACT NUMBER.Lariat Automotive Group, LLC

**************,We will gladly process the cancelation on your policy since that is what you wish to do. You have had our policy since October 10, 2022, 9 months, and you want to keep the one you have had since May, less than 3 months. No problem at all. We were simply verifying you wanted to continue paying II the monthly amount instead of staying with us since you were close to being paid in full, no harm in that. You stated at the end of the conversation you were going to do some research and call back, but felt writing a negative review was the better option. Your financial advisor is telling you to continue with the higher rates on a policy that is over half way completed. You are cancelled as of today August 3, 2023. We sent your policy to the address on file which was successfully delivered on October 16, 2022. We could have sent you another copy if we even knew it was lost. Have a wonderful day. Thank you.Lariat Automotive Group, LLC
