Company uses misleading tactics - very official looking mailings, vague statements on the phone to mislead you into signing up for a useless policy.

The positive reviews here are obviously fake. This is not a good company to do business with. They use misleading tactics and pressure to get you to sign up for an auto warranty that comes with so many loopholes you can't even use it.

Thank you for your opinion, however nothing about our positive reviews are fabricated and also not able to locate you to be a customer of ours with the name and email you used to post your review. Our coverages pay several claims every day so I can assure you they work. Have a great day.

These folks use deceptive and unethical marketing at best. The postcard says "Immediate Response to This Notice Required" in bold letters and is designed to look like a DMV notice. Response is not required and this organization is not affiliated with the DMV. They will pressure you into providing credit card information with no Terms and Conditions and name drop "********" - likely because they have a better reputation than Lariat Automotive Group, LLC. They will speak falsehoods like "no insurance company" provides the policy before down payment and will use high pressure tactics.
If you can eventually get the terms and conditions, they look like this: **********************************************
In the event that you do have an issue with your car, these Ts&Cs have so many exceptions and requirements that it would be difficult to get paid.
This is not a good company to do business with. Putting the money in a savings account for repairs is a much safer and wiser option.

Hello Sir, Although you didn't want to go with one of our services, just know that is completely fine. I would like to reflect on a couple things. First, our mail advertisements that state "Immediate response" is geared more for those who wait to have a repair needed, at which time we can't offer coverage on their vehicle. We could have "name dropped" any of our administrators as we are only a selling agent and are not the ones that pay claims, hence why we would have stated "********" in an activation call, because they are the company that would have paid out claims on your vehicle. We were only being compliant about what policy you were potentially purchasing. You expressed the policy was sent to you before sale, then complained of how it was sent? Seems you wouldn't have been happy with anything we sent you? And lastly, our notice doesn't look like a DMV notice at all, nor does it mention "DMV" anywhere on the notices we send out. Have a Great Day and thanks for the review.

If you get a card in the mail from these people or anyone who is not your actual car dealer you need to run. These people got me good and being a young woman not really knowing anything about car warranty I was scammed out of $$$. Thankfully the amount was a small amount but still every dollar counts when you work hard for it. Long story short I spoke with one of their representatives who promised me this grand coverage deal which turned out to be fake. I was told I would receive an email with all the information discussed over the phone including policy info etc. something seemed off after the initial call. After hanging up i immediately called right back and the ***** number just kept ringing we if it was a cell phone disguised as cell phone number. I was given a list of numbers to call in the event I had any questions and all of those numbers were a fake. I immediately went to my bank statement to see the name of the company that debited money from my account and went to ****** and that is where I found all of these terrible reviews. I mean they are not even BBB accredited! I called my bank to dispute the charge and them having further access to my bank account information. You all should be ashamed of yourselves scamming people out of there hard earned money. You should be put in jail for being able to tap into peoples information and send them fraud information about there vehicle warranty. I called my car dealer directly and nothing about my warranty was expire or about to expire and they way whoever is responding to these complaints from their cell phone needs to be stopped. This is not a real business and whoever is behind this should learn how to speak to people via email. Theres plenty of ways to hustle and make extra money but stealing from people isnt one. Ive read every single review and everyone has said the same exact thing just different time frames. And stop calling me bc yall will never get another dime out of me and hopefully no one else!

******,I apologize you had an experience with a company, but we do not have coverage with anyone under the name "****************", the email associated with ******************************** or an ****** or ******** in our system that matches the ************** you provided to the BBB. All of our email addresses are company email addresses. None of our departments ring forever, they all have holding messages and music. I respond to each and every review from my desk and not a cell phone. If you would like to provide a contract # I would gladly get your account cancelled and submit the proper reimbursements. One number is given at the end of an activations call, not several, and that is **************. Hope this helps, thank you for your review.

Covers absolutely nothing at ****** per month. Power train gold sounded great till a breakdown. Look for other coverage company. BEWARE!

    Lariat Automotive Group, LLC

    Date: 05/30/2023

    Hello Ms. *****,
I see you stated, "this policy covers absolutely nothing at $189.00 per month." However after further review of the claim you just filed, we learned ******** ********** actually approved and paid out $524.21 for your water pump concerns. The claims adjuster also stated you had complained about the A/C not cooling, but since the shop or yourself was unable to duplicate the problem to indicate the issue, they are unable to approve a claim on something that was not broken. They also listed a few other parts that were having issues and yes the parts were deemed not listed for coverage on any vehicle with 171,359 miles as this is a Gold Powertrain Plan. Looks like it was a Brakes booster vacuum pump, Front crank seal, Valve cover gasket, Exhaust manifolds, Exhaust manifold gasket, Turbo manifold gasket, Cooling fittings to turbo, Coolant pipes. These do fall under non-covered parts which are listed under "Non-Covered Parts" in your policy as well as "no seals or gaskets coverage as a stand alone repair" in your policy and also found you weren't ever told by us they were covered parts either. I am sorry you felt everything was covered at this time, but ******** ********** will not pay out claims for non covered parts, they do however pay for covered parts listed as stated above. Thank you for your review.

Got a card in the mail regarding the coverage for repairs on my camry and ofc being a young innocent college student I fell for the trap I got suckered into the plan and ended up paying ****** down for the 4 year warranty for 24 months at ****** a month ofc I panicked and immediately called my bank after trying to call and cancel and ofc no answer like i immediately got when calling regarding the card sent in the mail and got my debit card number changed immediately I'm pretty sure the refund deal is out the question because there is no way Im giving my new card number to these people to apparently be getting a refund and they try to take more money off of my card no way thats happening. I will be calling customer service to speak with someone on canceling it but if no luck then its all good because they won't be getting any payments from me what so ever this is sad people take time to do these kinds of things to people but its a ****** learned and hopefully I can get refunded but if not its all good because they won't have my new debit card number

    Lariat Automotive Group, LLC

    Date: 05/08/2023

************************,There was no "trap" here, you set up coverage and decided to post a review without calling the number right back to cancel. You were given cancel directions in your call as well. It's very simple to call in to cancel just as you called in and purchased the coverage. There are no reported issues with our phones, our customer service department is closed for lunch from 12:30PM-1:30PM Monday through Friday which is the timeframe you were calling. Changing your mind is completely normal and your account is cancelled and has been refunded. No one old you no refund. Every policy is fully refundable in the 1st 30 days. It's called the "review period". No one is calling and asking for your new credit card information. You do not need to contact us any further as we have completed your request. Thank you so much for your patience.

    These people are complete scammers
Do your own research. I'm ready for the reply because clearly that's literally all they do. They also keep notes on you as a person. The postcard is catchy and as a female with little knowledge as a first time buyer I signed up. How is me being a single mom relevant information to any warranty at all and to bring it up casually during a customer service call? That was not professional. Nor is it to have that in your notes if we're being honest. I dealt with **** who hung up on me and claimed a disconnected call was the issue. She had a horrible attitude, was asking me what I'm going to do if my car does break down like that's relevant to her or anyone to even know. She kept placing me on hold. Digging information and bribing in a sense. The whole experience made me uncomfortable. I made my bank aware as well.

To Whom it May ********* was able to review the conversation between you and the representative and you had stated the dealership stated our company was a scam. You started off by saying No disrespect, but they said not to go with you guys because you are a scam. We have been in business for over 5 years, and we are, indeed, not a scam, so therefore we have opportunities to professionally explain ourselves when this statement arises due to knowing our coverages are proven to work for our consumers every day. You are entitled to your opinion, however, when she stated, she was a single mother herself, was her speaking only about herself, nothing was noted about it so Im not sure why that was an assumption. Your account was cancelled and refunded. Thank you for your review.
