Maybe they’re a scam, maybe they’re not. But getting frustrated over the phone because I ask for an email / website link, as I didn’t want to give my card information over the phone to someone who hasn’t even given me a company name is weird behavior.
I told ***** I’d give him a call back Monday after I review his company and he keeps mentioning how customers always say that and never call back, mhm I wonder why? I kept saying it’d be Monday till I agree to anything, and he kept asking why? why? why?
Like I said, they’re most likely not a scam but come off as huge scammers over the phone.
***** ******, become a better salesmen bud maybe you’ll get some calls back.Lariat Automotive Group, LLC

My 89-year-old father received what he thought was an official notification from ****** which included all pertinent information on his 2022 ****** Altima. The letter indicated his factory warranty may either have expired or was about to expire, based on the mileage and age of the vehicle. He has had this 2022 vehicle for just over six months, it has just over **** miles on it, and the warranty is nowhere near expiring. He was alarmed, however, and contacted Lariat, agreeing to a $295 one-time payment, along with monthly payments. I just learned about this, and as my fathers ***** of ******** have repeatedly attempted to contact Lariat. There is no answer at the number listed on Lariats website, at the number on the original notification or at the number provided by Paylink, Lariats payment processor, so multiple attempts to contact Lariat to cancel the contract have been unsuccessful. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!Lariat Automotive Group, LLC

To Whom it may ********* apologize that your father called in and set up a policy. He or you could have called us back to cancel and get a full refund at the number we provided to him **************. We have had zero phone issues, however we are only open 7AM-7PM CST in the activations department. If your father received our postcard on a 2022, we are able to offer coverages on them. Our offers are based off of the manufacturers warranty and we do send them out also not knowing if someone is a low mileage driver or not. If you are calling these numbers after hours I'm sorry no one was there to answer your call. Your fathers account is cancelled and the refund will reflect in 5-7 business days. These people are SCAMERS!! I got a letter in the mail saying my cars warranty was due, had the make model, and where I had bought the car. So I called because I got scared and didnt want to have my car break down and not be covered after Im already paying well over $500 for payment and full coverage insurance. First red flag was answering the phone parts and service department I signed up anyways for $185 a month for ************************************************************** so later and found out these people are SCAMERS!! I immediately reported it to my bank as fraud, got my money back thankfully, replaced my cards.. now these people wont stop calling and harassing me! *** asked over *********************************************************** always give me a bs spiel about why they cant close it, talk over me, gaslight me, its a bunch of nonsense to bully you into paying them. *** told them I reported it and theyre not even accredited so they give me more bs about how theyre actually partners with integrity vehicle group, who is accredited.. its a loop to try and convince you to give you their money.. DONT FALL FOR IT AND THE BBB NEED TO STOP THESE PEOPLE IMMEDIATELYLariat Automotive Group, LLC

**************, we believe you simply purchased a policy that you later decided you didn't want anymore and failed to notify us. Stating a company is a Scam without being scammed is giving repeated incorrect information. You called in to set up coverage on March 15, 2023, and called in to cancel it on April 17, 2023, only after we started calling you for your payment as it declined. We never heard from you since inception until then and didn't know you were choosing to not continue the plan you initiated on March 15, 2023. No one here answered the phone with "parts and service department" as we don't have one. Just because someone states a company is a scam doesn't at all indicate we are one as I can assure you just because your dealership hasnt heard of us doesnt at all imply, we are a scam. How could we be faulted if not given the chance to cancel your account when we werent given the chance to do so? Our records indicate we called you two times, only because your account was in a past due status. You hung up with the first representative after 2 minutes without giving her a chance to give you the proper procedure to cancel the plan. A second representative contacted you 3 days later to go over the procedures and your account was cancelled. We gladly completed your request after we were given the opportunity to do so. We absolutely do not want to keep your money as again we are not a scam. You will have your refund within 5-7 business days. Thank you for your review.Review fromSean L

Predatory mail, predatory call. The fourteen day "deadline" shown on the mailer immediately disappeared when I got on the phone with them -- all of a sudden they "couldn't offer this later deal if I hung up the phone." Not sure why I would have wanted the deal, which seemed extraordinarily expensive. I told them to send me the policy in an email to review, at which point the caller said she would hold while I reviewed the policy so that I would not hang up the phone. I told her I couldn't afford it and she encouraged me to use a credit card. When I hung up in frustration they called right back. Pretty annoying.Lariat Automotive Group, LLC

**********************, You called in to inquire about the notice. You were actually told they couldn't guarantee the price we were offering on that call at a later time. This is a true statement made by the agent you spoke with. We can't make you buy something if you do not wish to buy it. It's your call either way. Policies might appear expensive, however, that is due to the cost of prices that come with repairing a vehicle. This is 100% okay that you do not want the coverage, especially if you can't afford it, Thank you for your time.Review fromNate H

Didnt appreciate the phone calls Ive had with them, I had a running warranty with them for around $170 a month, and upon a time or two trying to cancel they proceeded to not cancel it instead push a payment back a month and proceed from there even though I wanted to cancel my coverage from them cause I had found a better coverage. So just solely based on that, I would advise not getting a coverage through this company because should you want to cancel it, they make it near impossible to do so, and dont refund a thing if the occasion arisesLariat Automotive Group, LLC

************,If you are referring to your cancelled account from December 2022, then yes. The representative never refused to cancel your account on 6/10/2022. She did ask since you why since were outside your 30 day review period, and you stated you were refinancing the car. She asked if you wanted to compare the 2 and you advised yes. You even thanked her for the information, and you agreed to keep the plan going. The calls to you didn't start until December because there was a payment missed. How could we know you were interested again in canceling when you weren't? Your account cancelled for nonpayment which in that case resulted in no refund of the account per your contract. It also states in your policy how to submit a request to cancel in writing or to fill out the form from ******** and you didn't complete that either. We did attempt for 60 days to contact you regarding the account @ ********** as well as emailed you @ ********************** We would have cancelled your policy over the phone that day you spoke to the representative if that was your ultimate decision. I apologize for your misunderstanding in the matter, but if you are wanting to contest no refund, I would be willing to help you with that, you would just need to contact me directly at **************. Similar review as below. Aggressive Mail Scam tactics used. Received a mailer saying my vehicle would be categorized as High-Risk potential if I didnt respond to their mailer. Time allotted to respond was 14days. Called mailer number and they were very hesitant to give address. Unprofessional terminology used. Asked about service and it was suggested they they would be able to add a vehicle warranty.Lariat Automotive Group, LLC

Hello **************,I apologize you received a notice in the mail regarding an advertisement for extended coverage on your vehicle. I'm not sure the mailer you received could have been sent to you by mistake as our records are primarily indicated for expired or close to expiring factory coverage nor do they state "High-Risk" on them. We do, however, offer several great coverages for vehicles, but if you didn't choose or want any our services we are 100% okay with that. Also, when someone contacts us regarding questions about the mailers, the name of our company or the address, etc. we do offer the information, so I'm not sure who you spoke with. At this time if you are on our mailing list we will gladly remove you from them as quickly as possible. Thank you for your review.Review fromRaymond C.

Was mailed a predatory advertisement in the mail despite my lack of signature on any marketing agreement. Called the number, got a guy selling me a vehicle warranty for Lariat Automotive. Asked how my information was obtained, which was responded with "sorry, I don't work in the marketing department." He is correct, I'll give him that.

To Whom it May ********** apologize that you received a piece of mail regarding your vehicle coverage. We are an inbound only call center in our activations department, so there is most definitely not any scam calling being executed here at Lariat Automotive Group. Thank you for inquiring about coverage due to the notice you received, and even though you are not interested in the services we are able to provide, we do however want you to know we do offer several good programs through our administrators who are all also accredited through the BBB with A ratings. We have removed you from all our mailing lists due to this concern. Thank you for your review.Review fromLois A

To Whom it May *********** contacted us and set up extended coverage on June 8, 2021, to cover your 2011 Buick Lucerne, however, each one of our plans requires that an individual completes all maintenance of their vehicle recommended by the manufacturer upon the event of a repair, which in this case unfortunately you did not. Even when the claim was filed, and we asked for the receipts you were only able to provide 3 oil changes to show the claims department that were completed between June 8, 2021, and February 28, 2023. The manufacturers recommended maintenance schedule for a 2011 Buick Lucerne ****** that an oil change must be performed every 12 months or ***** miles whichever occurs first. The oil changes you provided that were performed are as follows:1. Between 9/9/2021 & 2/5/2022 gap of ***** miles ***** past the manufacturers requirements.2. Between 2/5/2022 & 6/24/2022 gap of ***** miles ***** past the manufacturers requirements.3. Between 6/24/2022 & 10/14/2022 gap of ***** miles ***** past the manufacturers requirements. In the 1st letter you received does state:Proper maintenance of your vehicle will contribute to a trouble-free driving experience. You should follow your vehicle manufacturers recommended maintenance for your driving habits. Then on page 2:The customer agrees to maintain the Vehicle in accordance with the Terms and Conditions, The Required Maintenance Section contained in the Terms and Conditions of the *************** Contract and follow all of the manufacturers recommended maintenance requirements. Then on page 6 Section #3 CONTRACT HOILDERS RESPONSIBILITY Contract Holders Maintenance Requirements: You must have Your Vehicle checked and serviced in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations, as outlined in the Owners Manual. Your Vehicles Owner Manual lists different servicing recommendations based on Your individual driving habits and climate conditions. You are required to follow the maintenance schedule that applies to Your driving habits and climate conditions. Failure to follow these recommendations may result in the denial of claims. Oil Changes and Verifiable Receipts: In the event of a Breakdown, we may request oil change and/or service records to verify that maintenance has been properly done. If You perform your own maintenance and/or service, you must retain all receipts that show the purchase of materials used in the Vehicle maintenance process. It is also mentioned on Page 10, Page 11, & Page 15.At this time, this will remain at a prorated refund return that will be sent out within the 30-day window of your cancellation date of 3/1/2023. We will accept your unhappy 1-star review as your formal written request for your cancellation and refund as required per your contract as well:SECTION X. CANCELLATIONS You may cancel this Contract at any time, including instances when the Vehicle is sold, lost, stolen, or destroyed by notifying Us in writing and by submitting a request to Cancel the contract with notarized Letter of Cancellation stating the reason for cancellation, and the date of cancellation. I purchased platinum plus extended warranty paying $208 monthly on my car insurance and when it came to cover a engine failure they denied the claim. Vehicle was always maintenance correctly. I have all the proof showing oils changes and maintenance recorded like changing break pads etc. I filed a claim. And they denied it stating the only oil that I was able to use was stating I had to use BWM brand long life oil only which I provided lariat the owners manual stating oil viscosity types that can be used. it got to the point that I contacted *** North ******** corporate office and they sent me a email with a chart of the types of oils I can use etc and I used the correct one . Sent it to lariat and still denied it. This company is a scam and taking peoples money finding any little excuse to not to pay even when proof is provided they make there own decisions to benefit them self and not pay out of pocket. So save your money recession is bad and car still in a warehouse unable to pay for a engine repair.Lariat Automotive Group, LLC

To Whom it May *********** purchased coverage through us on October 5, 2021 on your 2013 *** 650. Your vehicle was indeed covered under *********************** for any covered repairs. You never filed the claim through Lariat Automotive Group, in fact, all your correspondence was through ******** directly. You never called us to inquire anything about a denied claim. We contacted you at the phone number on file at ************ and emailing you at ********************** for 60 days until your account cancelled for nonpayment automatically on March 5, 2022. We have not heard from you regarding any cancel request in writing or over the phone. There were several occasions you hung up on each representative that would call regarding the payments that were stopped. Even if you werent making the payments due to the claims issue you still chose not to have a discussion regarding this matter with your selling agent. The engine oil used was not listed on the *** approved engine oil list, the picture submitted of the back of the oil container that was used does not have the *** type LL-01 listed as an approved engine oil. Nothing else was ever submitted to ******** from you or the North ************************* regarding any proof of the type of oil was used. There are terms and conditions we must abide by when processing a claim. We apologize, but per ******** this claim is going to remain denied at this time.
