I had a "Free" rental credit available. I made a reservation, and after all the taxes and drop-off fees, my "free" rental was $239.51!!!

I was charged $191.26 approximately for towing due to mechanical issue with the rental car. The rental was covered by insurance company. When the oil light can on when the local branch was closed and o called the number on my retail agreement to have the car towed. They never mentioned a towing fee and made a reservation for a swap out at Washy ***** Airport location. Several attempts by me to have the regional manager and local manger to call me with no response as of today. I have filed oral requests over the phone since January 2023 and with no follow up. I am now being bill for $100.00 after my credit card made the adjustment due to lack of documentation from enterprise. I am still seeking resolution for the $100.00 they assigned to their collection department. Poor customer service at the branch and regional level.

Hi,I just came back from a weekend trip to ******* and I rented a vehicle from the branch on ************ street. My experience with them was fantastic from beginning to end. *************************** was the person who served me and he was superb. Very professional, courteous and he asked very relevant questions about my travelling group so he could assign the appropriate vehicle for my trip. Thank you very much *******, I will definitely always use your branch whenever I need to rent a car.

I had a horrible experience recently when my paid off car was totaled while parked when I was out of state. Nothing available covered by my insurance in 3 locations near me, and the mid-size truck I got was terrible to drive. I owned **** and ***** trucks before I loved, but not the mid sized ****** rental. They couldn't pick me up or get me a rental at the airport when I returned from my trip, even though there was an Enterprise location there. They picked me up where my car was, drove me further from my house after being up since 2 am to catch 2 flights, and I had to drive this bad truck in rush hour traffic back from a large city near me. I bought a new replacement vehicle in VA 9 days later, and had to go to 2 locations, the 2nd was at the *********************** Airport because the other location didn't take even mid sized trucks. Very frustrating, and all from an accident while my car was parked and the careless kid who totaled my car and his mom's. I'd rather go through another company out of pocket in the future vs the Enterprise experience...

Our vehicle was towed to an automotive repair shop. Reserved a vehicle online from Enterprise. (The closest rental agency over an hour from our location). Received a phone message from Enterprise the car would not be available at the time we reserved it. I called the number provided in the message, and when the agent checked my reservation status, he stated a vehicle was being processed and WOULD be available. Because we were in a rural area, the taxi fee was $200 to get to the rental car building. When my husband arrived, the agent advised him there were no cars available..he waited a couple hours hoping to get a vehicle, but to know avail. Another $150 for an Uber back to the house. Expensive afternoon and no vehicle.

I rented a SUV last weekend to go to Norfolk Virginia for the weekend, The SUV ended up having issues, the door was hard to close, the mirror was stuck on night vision and would not change to day.. The smell of smoke was so strong it was coming through the vents, it was awful, so I called roadside service and they said they would come pick it up and give me another vehicle, They gave me the run around, they said they would deliver it to where i was, never happened, customer service was rude and , they kept asking where was the vehicle they picked up., They gave me the run around for hours, very rude and lied the whole time., I had no ride and they kept giving me the run around knowing they wasn't sending the car.. Kept calling customer service and they said to go to the airport and they would send a Uber, well that never happened. Went into the Rental office and they were so rude and told me to go to another office because they didn't have a replacement car for me. Went there and they told me the same thing , it was insane , went back to **** ******** ***** **** and was treated like trash by the manager, she told me they had no cars, but the lot was full and people was returning, her name is ******* , unbelievable how I was treated, so after sitting there for an hour , because she told me to wait , I did and she finally said we don't have anything , oh wait we have two compact cars an Accent, do you want that because if not you will have to wait because these cars are all contracted out to the Military. But yet people was coming in an renting cars. The car was scratched up and it had 50,898 miles on it, I had rented a Mazda 8 people , and this was 2 people only. When i got in and started it up the gas light came on, it was on E. I went to several other Enterprises and received the same disrespect , poor customer service and just plain rude, road side customer service is the worse. Lies and more lies, I paid for a SUV I couldn't use. Never again,

When my car was totaled out my insurance company reached out to Enterprise so that I could get a car while I looked for a new one. After a week I called my insurance company and didnt get an answer so I reached out to Enterprise so that I could check and see when my rental car was supposed to be returned because they couldnt tell me at check out. I was told that I had 30 days from the pick up time to return the vehicle since I was looking for a new car. I explained to the representative that I could not afford to pay out of pocket for a rental because I had to be sure that he was correct. He confirmed and then we got off of the phone. A few days later someone from enterprise called me and tried to sell me one of their used cars. He was really nice so I asked him about the terms of my rental and he told me that it was still showing an open rental and that the first guy was right and not to worry. I repeated to him that I CAN NOT AFFORD to pay for this rental. A week later Enterprise calls me and tell me that I should have returned the rental car and that they didnt know what happened. They not only kept my deposit but they went into my account and took an extra 200 dollars.

I rented a car from enterprise boardman-****** location for one day 4/14 - returning 4/15. The rep who helped me advised that if I don't drop the car off after 2pm to give keys to representative in their auto section. It is open until 5. I dropped car off at 2:50pm, parked car in car port, and the rep said to just call monday or tuesday to validate they had it. I flew home to ***** on 4/16. I called tuesday, and left a message with their customer service department who relayed the message. All settled in mind. Wrong. today, 5/24, I recieved a bill for 600 dollars. I was able to circumnavigate the *** to get to the ******** location and was told but an accusatory manager i had the car for 8 days. I asked how he got the keys and told me that I dropped them off this 16th. Ive been in ****** since the 17th. Was it via teleportation? was it carrier pigeon? Did they leave the car sitting in the middle of the car port for 8 days??? somehow I doubt it. I called customer care twice. Supposedly the ** was to get back to me. I stopped payment, and i am still waiting for a call and an apology. The first thing this group needs to do is not tell customers exceptions if they can't run basic operations. Poor customer service. Poor front line workers and management. I stay clear of enterprise usually. I had an issue in ********* 15 years ago. Similar situation - lack of common sense. Only reason i chose them this time was hours of operations were condusive to my schedule. I should have ubered to columbus. It would have cost me less then the charge, and my time not wasted with these beginner professionals. I need an apology. The bank is taking care of the unapproved charges... they should make note about the dispute as to not mess it up more than they already have.

Rented an SUV in ***** .They charged me a bs $75 cleaning fee and havent refunded my $300 deposit yet. I had the car for 24 hours and drove my daughter and her friends to a school dance. There was no need for any thing more than a basic vacuum. Like they are supposed to do after every rental. According to the representative: glitter from a dress on the seats requires a full auto detail. I have been a customer for 10+ years. Who cares though? $$$$I wont be using this company ever again. Im so tired of being gouged.
