I reserved a rental in south ******* back in 2018 and was placed on the do not rent list because their employees refused ********** a car if I didnt get their insurance. I always rent cars and have rented with enterprise several times never needing their insurance. I had my own car insurance and also purchased insurance through Hotwire like I ALWAYS do. I defended myself and got upset because I had a three year old and we were stranded at their HOOD location because they discriminated against me being a young black woman. And they still have the nerves to have me on the do not rent list for defending myself. I literally should file a discrimination lawsuit against them because its ridiculous! I did absolutely nothing wrong for me to be refused a rental! *** never gotten into an accident, refused to pay fines NOTHING. Its ridiculous and they need to own up for their shady business practices.

We were in an accident on Thursday afternoon. My insurance company, USAA, has a contract and you must go through enterprise rental. I tried to call the Enterprise Rental Car location on *********************************** ******** **, in order to verify that they physically had a rental vehicle for me there underneath my reservation number. The reason I have tried calling them directly, was because of the past experiences with that location. I have had that location tell me before that they have a vehicle ready for and when I got there, nothing was available. The first two times I called, I was hung up on by a female. The third time I called, I was on hold for 37 minutes, so I hung up and called their national.I spoke with the reservation specialist who told me Sir, there is a Confirmed Reservation and vehicle ready for you there at that location under Reservation Number and it is ready for pick up. He wanted to know what time I would be there. I told him I would be there around 2 oclock.I showed up at that location at 1:45, before 2 oclock, and was told by the only female in the office that they do not have a vehicle there underneath my reservation number and wont have one until Monday.I called the national number back and requested to speak to someone in their command group. I was told somebody would call me back within the hour.Today is Tuesday, and I am still waiting.Date of experience: February 10, 2023

Good evening I totally disappointed and discouraged to use the Bartlett Enterprise location. Today my son got his first call about updating his rental contract which he has been in since 12/09/2022. When my son and I got there I was told that I owe 616.42 dollars to close out the account for usage from 01/05/2023 thru 02/13/2023 0950 hours. At this time I asked the rental clerk why I owe so much and she stated I tried calling several times before the contract rental expired. This I told her I never received a call or voicemail on my phone. So I immediately contacted the headquarters corporate customer support care and filed a complaint in which I given a reference# ********. The young lady at this location has done this before and is very unprofessional and rude and shouldn’t be dealing with customers upfront. There’s a lack of communication and customer service at this location. Afterwards, I tried to contact the branch manager so he can rectify this issue and come with a resolution, but this wasn’t the case. The manager only comment was that I tried reaching out also, but was also unsuccessful. So at this point, I asked him can provide the numbers that they were calling from so I can check my phone logs, but couldn’t come up with a number nor confirm that he or the branch called us before our agreement was expiring. I have paper copies of my call logs which doesn’t show any missed calls from this location. This manager also needs some more training in customer service and problem resolutions. I have reviewed the complaints online and this isn’t the case there’s several other complaints and issues that has been reported online. All I wanted was a good chance to make decision if I wanted to update my insurance rental. I understand that they may be short staff, but that doesn’t excuse the poor communication skills between customers and the rental staff.

We have done business with two Enterprise in both ******** ** locations and lake city . To start off this was in insurance claim from our personal insurance, when the first car was supposed to be reserved, we never got the car because someone else looked at it . Upon arrival we were asked to put a 300 dollar hold from an insurance claim outrageous, when those charges are only 50 dollars. Get to lake city location rents out the car and we have the 5 day protection plan. After the 5 day charge . The charges were still ongoing to the card after they were supposed to stop. **** the manager at this location calls my phone while Im in a highly important meeting at work, yelling about he will come pick up his car if the charges are not paid and he wasnt taking anything off until we bring the car back for a second inspection. So we are being robbed out our money , threatened from a rental company. When this was supposed to be a smooth deal being we are already torn up after a accident.

These folks are just plain dishonest, and money hungry. After my car was stolen, I hoofed it from my house to ********************************************** in ********* to rent a car. I was looking for something on the cheap, and the girl at the desk said she would put me in a ***** Spark. I followed her outside as she looked at the car and said, "Well this one's not clean so I'll find you something else." In a moment she ushered me to the desk and said, "I'll put you in a ******* Venue. It'll be ready for you right outside in a moment." In a few minutes she told me the charges, that there'd be a deposit required. I signed the digital device and had the car parked outside. Someone gave me the keys, I went outside and inspected it. No one - not one, did a walk around with me at all to inspect the car. I noticed that there was a tiny vertical line going up from the middle of the dashboard to a grid top of the windshield, I touched and felt no break and thought it to be an antenna. I thought nothing about it as I drove off.I drove it to work and back for eleven days. When I brought it back today, the same girl said, "What's with the crack in the windshield?" I said, "I thought that was an antenna." She then brought the store manager outside who told me I would be charged $250 extra for cracking the windshield. I was flabbergasted, "What??" Then they made up a story about me renting a ***** Spark, then switching vehicles to a ******* Venue, and the girl stating that she had done a thorough walk around with me before renting me the car. I pled with them:Can't you check your cameras, it will prove that nobody was with me to inspect, and that the crack was there!"To which the store manager replied, "I'm sorry sir, our cameras don't go that far back. Have a good day." They are keeping $250 out of my deposit.Highway robbery. First my car is stolen by a thief, and then I've been lied to and cheated by my rental company. Thanks for hearing me vent, and beware of this place.

I booked for a car almost a week in advance from Enterprise on ***********, city line Avenue, **. On February 10th at 8 am, they gave me a bad car *** for $67 dollars a day, and when I complained, they gave me another compact car called ****** Kick, and they said it was their SUV, and charged me extra $10 per day. The customer service are very unfriendly and rip people off. When I returned the car the next day, the customer service was worst. It was my Worst experience renting a car. I will NEVER rent from ENTERPRISE

This the worst experience of my life when renting a car. They are thieves and pray on the innocent. They charged my credit card even when I proved that the car was returned with same amount of gas that it had been given. Management is absent when it comes to dealing with costumers in this kind of issues. Be very careful and take pictures of the car body, mileage and gas tank level. Better yet, rent from any other agency.

***** at the Albuquerque airport was great. He and the experience was very smooth. ***** was very professional, knowledgeable, yet he had a great personality. The fob battery went out a few miles after we picked up the car. I called in, & they allowed us to just replace the battery rather than switch vehicles. They reimbursed us for the battery. I will use Enterprise again.

Awful! I rented a "premium" truck to move my house hold goods from storage to ****. My truck is full. It's 11:55 pm on Sunday evening. The premium truck totally died 5 minutes ago, in the middle of a parking lot. It will not move. Please remember, again, my truck is loaded. Multiple times already, I have had to stop both enterprise and AAA from showing up to tow the dead vehicle. I have NO place to put jy stuff until I get a replacement. But, it's after midnight now so I am just totally screwed until I call them back, for a 5th time at **** so they can hire aaa to bring me an empty truck. What if I was on the highway??? Will I be reimbursed to this night now that I've been forced to get a room???Come on, this is not a poor start up company. People drive 24 hrs a day, you should support your customers 24 hours a day. Now. It's 2 am, I should be on the road and I'm just praying I can get a new TRUCK (can't use a car) in a few hours. Again, remember enterprise....Had this have happened on I 95 are u leaving me there? Last thing is, the associates I've talked to have been Uber polite. They just don't know what to do. Everything is closed for the surrounding 60 miles so they can't find me a truck. Plzzzzz do better enterprise. More to follow.
