Saw sign in ***** **** advertising a $20 rebate if $50 of groceries were purchased. Met all requirements of the promotion and sent in all neccesary documents. Received notice back from Anheuser Busch that items were purchased in "invalid state". I purchased in Florida. If Florida was an invalid state, why did they have they have a huge promotional display showing this offer. I would not have purchased their product otherwise.Business Response

I submitted a rebate form 6-8 weeks ago to Anheuser-busch. It was for $15. I sent in my rebate certificate, UPC symbol, the dated and the register receipt with the two products needed. It was denied. This is the 2nd time I have been denied after I have sent in the proper information. They sent me a notification post card saying I needed to send in "missing information" by 08-06-2023. The major problem with that is the post card was not received until 08-05-2023. Not only do I believe they are purposely denying legitimate requests but they are also not giving adequate time to rectify the situation. I believe this was done on purpose. As it sits now I'm out $30 in rebates not to mention time wasted... I believe this to be fraud. Included should be both sides of the post card I received and a copy of the rebate paperwork. Even if you decide to do right by me what about the potential aforementioned fraud to other customers that are unwilling or unable to file a complaint? I do not wish to be contacted privately. I would like to know if an internal investigation will be taking place to decide where the fraud has taken place. I purchased a case (24 cans) of beer at Hy-Vee within the required timeline for the $15.00 rebate "Make Your July 4th Weekend Easy to Enjoy" promotion by ************. I submitted the form online and I purchased the beer in *********. I tried emailing to follow up regarding this and the email was undeliverable. I participated in 3 different Bud Light rebates referenced on one set of AB rules and sent all 3 in for redemption on a single rebate e-form. Each had separate timeframes to purchase at least (1) 15 pack and receive a $15. rebate for EACH timeframe. The 2023 timeframes were 6/15-21 , 6/22-28, & 6/29-7/8. Total rebates SHOULD HAVE BEEN 3 x $15 = $45. as I followed the instructions correctly and submitted all 3 rebates together on one single form by the stated deadline (with all of the required documentation for all 3 of the rebates). I went to check the rebate status a few weeks ago and saw that rebate was "in process" but was approved for ONLY for $15.!!! I IMMEDIATELY emailed the rebate center and explained that they had not handled my rebate properly. I heard NOTHING back. Today, I get a rebate email for ONLY $15. And NOW I am having the extra massive inconvenience of having to spend an hour writing this to file a complaint with the BBB JUST to try to get what I deserved to start with.Business Response

I purchased a case of bud light and submitted my receipt & UPC using the online rebate form. At no point during my rebate application online was I told about any issues with the format of my mailing address, it is only now after the rebate window has closed that I received an email stating that my rebate was denied because "Did not pass USPS Address Standards". This leaves me feeling like this rebate was a bait & switch operation. They clearly could have told me about any issues they had with the format of my mailing address when I was filling out the online form, but they chose to wait until after the rebate window closed before notifying me.Business Response

This company is sinking in sales so they advertise a rebate for a product purchase. What they give you is a virtual debit card that is impossible to activate in order to retrieve the rebate they advertise.
I buy Bud Light, but now, I realize the piece of crap marketing they have decided to invoke on those who are still loyal Bud Light purchasers.
Seeing this is how they reward those of us who buy their transgender product, and I am not in any way transgender, I have now made my decision to NEVER purchase any of their products again.
How a simple fifteen dollar rebate can turn into such a pain in the ass is beyond me.
Screw this company right up the ass just like who they choose to sponsor the product they sell.Business Response

Required items were purchased for rebate program offered. Notification was received via email that rebate was available through my pre paid services. Two separate rebates of $15 each were activated ( virtual card). The cards are not able to be used at any retailer or on line. I attempted to contact my pre paid services with no success, as it is all numbers with no humans and no resolutions. The cards do not show on my prepaid active card list. These cards were just received and activated last week. I have tried to use them numerous times now. I contacted AB company and was informed that it was basically not their issue and had to be dealt with via my prepaid services. The rebate was offered by AB company and should be backed by that company. I do not want a VIRTUAL card. I want my $30 rebate.Business Response

On 7/1 I purchased a 30 pack of bud light which offered a $15 rebate. I submitted the form online and uploaded my receipts that day. I received a confirmation email stating that my entry was received. A few days later I received an email stating that it was not a valid date. I purchased a case (24 cans) of Bud Light beer at ****** in ******** within the required timeline for the $15.00 Summer ****** (July Fourth) and submitted it on 07.08.23 online with the upc and store receipt reflecting this. On 07.13.23 I received an email stating my submission was being rejected due to "Invalid State". I submitted the form online, there is no way it had an "Invalid State" and I purchased this case of beer in ******** and my receipt shows it was purchased in ******** so I am not sure what the problem is or why it was rejected.Business Response
