      i had service turned on at a rental property that is vacant & ameren charged me $280.00 for the first month and over $100 for the second month for a vacant property. There was no outstanding bill due or unpaid balances for me. I called and expressed my concerns and no one has reached out. How could a vacant property use that much energy. I asked them to check the meter see if anyone was stealing power ect. ******* said the usage is very high for the property to be empty. This is evident that Ameren UE charges what they want based on the time of year and what ever other factors they decide. I do not appreciate being taken advantage of. I live in ***** in a 3 person household and our bill isn't this half of what ******** is charging. I am not sure what deceptive practices they have going on but i expect answers and a refund.

      My power got shut off this morning so I called. It was because the previous resident didnt pay the due. I moved in in July and they told me I have to pay 205 to get my power back off. But the 205 was starting from April. I ask my leasing office to contact them to verify I moved in July. I told them to transfer the correct amount so I can pay. They just went back and forth and I waited for the whole day and still not got any answer. Now is Friday night and I have to wait till Monday since they dont work on weekends. Every time I have to explain to different agent and Im so sick of it. What the f***

      My bill has gone from 200$ a month to 400$ a month over the last 2 months. Reviewing my bill, nearly $100 in random fees!!! I moved and unfortunately this is the only company available for us now and they know it! Taking advantage of your customers with outrageous fees! No wonder people cant afford anything! You all make millions off your service. Id pay extra to get away from this company if I could! They wont explain their fees either; residential gas energy charge, electric customer charge, gas customer charge, renewable ********************** adjustment charge, fuel adjustment charge, PGA charge, weather adjustment rider ********************** replacement surcharge, energy efficient investment charge, ******** local tax charge, ********** municipal charge UNBELIEVABLE

      Absolutely terrible communication and miss direction on every direction they have given us its terrible. We dont have a choice in who we have as our provider, it is a true monopoly that must be stopped.

      Ameren charged me ****** for electricity for 17 days.... 34 days later they charged me ******. They went on to say was my fault for getting there underground hit and they won't turn the air back. Only if I decide to cross the yellow tape and red tape I am upset by this. I double check after the first bill they said my bill wouldn't go any higher than ******

      3 years in a new house. ***** has gone out over 15 times. Some lasting 2-3+ days. Is it a whole bunch of children running your company? I have lost thousands of dollars worth of food and hotel bills because you all cant figure it out. I would rather go to any other electric company but wait you cant. What a horrible company. 4th time this year its been over *********************************** when my power will be on. People should not move to ********* just because of how slow and corrupt you all are

      Ameren has horrible service. I have been without power for over 18 hours because a small wind came through during a rain and the power went out. My food is spoiled and I have to replace it. Ameren needs to build stronger power grids so more residences will not have to lose power so often...this is ridiculous!

      Been without electric for four days now Ameren dont want to get off their butts and do anything doesnt look like we are going to get power until the fifth around noon and thats if they decide to get off their butts! Man they can overcharge you on electric when they want

      I have now gone a week without power, and when I have contacted them more than 10 times now, they have put my on hold for three plus hours until I just give up. Everyone I know has power except us. This is the worst thing to happen in the middle of summer. No one from Ameren has tried to reach out to us or even give us an accurate time frame of when this will be fixed. They said it would be fixed Friday and it is now Monday and the texts they are sending us still say Friday of last week. Absolutely terrible.

      any storm is enough to knock out power. its 2023. I think we should be past this point. the power went out less 30 years ago when I was growing up. I dont think every single thunderstorm is cause for my power to go out. its a monopoly and they never have to do anything for us, and they never will. Ameren is the worst company, and we have no choice but to use them, and they know it. the people at the top should be punished. But guess what, they never will be. abysmal state of the world. * * * * ameren.
