I have tried for 2 months to schedule an appointment for my annual mammogram which my doctor wrote order for in June. When you call there is a message that you can schedule on line. When I attempt that I get a message to call a number in 488 area code while I'm in 850. When you call that number all they will do is transfer you after asking all your personal information, especially insurance. Once transferred the phone just rings and no one answers. When I attempt to schedule online it says to cal the 488 area code number. What a run around. The only way to get an appointment is to drive to the facility to schedule an appointment with my primary care doctor because no one would answer the phones.

They never told us what is covered and what is not covered in the ANNUAL PHYSICAL. they then bill me for an ANNUAL PHYSICAL as well as an OFFICE VISIT.Their Billing Procedure may be correct but by doing this way they shortchanged me an ANNUAL VISIT which is at No Charge for me!!!This is not fair and should not be done this way because then you guys are getting paid twice the amount from the ***************** for the same VISIT. You are counting it as two visits because it was supposed to be an Annual Visit and just because unknowingly I asked a question out of the scope of the ANNUAL PHYSICAL it triggered an automatic billing for an OFFICE VISIT. HOW CEAP!!! AND HOW HUNGRY CAN YOU GET!!!I should have been advised by the PHYSICIAN that this is out of scope of this visit and if I answer it, theyll bill you for an OFFICE VISIT ALSO- CONCURRENTLY. What a shame that SHAMS like this are in the DOCTORS office THE VERY DOCTOR WHO YOU TRUST THE MOST. I requested that the ANNUAL VISIT be removed from the billing but they insisted that it stays and that its billed correctly. What can you expect from a third party ******************

they are charging me more than $7000 dollars for an echo cardiogram test that took 15 minutes, done by a technician. incredible how they inflate the charging for a simple test that probably I didn't needed. my *************** doctor) prescribed this test and afterward he didn't even look at this, his own words.Stay Away from ****** hospital!!! as mentioned here already they are the very definition of gouging prices.ON top of this they offered to discount $500 if I pay all at once in cash, and presented this as doing me a big favor.

I have been regularly visiting my OBGYN for wellness visits for a couple of years now and she started a plan with me to look into irregular periods and hormonal changes. She is fairly busy, so I am used to seeing other doctors in the practice. I had a wellness visit and, out of fear for being charged anything but, I made sure to not speak of anything other than the things covered in the visit. The Dr. suggested I get my hormones tested again (it had been a year) and ASSURED me that this was something insurance covers due to coding it as irregular periods. Well, she, or the SEton staff did not do this and I was hit with a $900 bill for simple bloodwork. I am currently fighting this to this day. A few months later I saw my primary doctor and She did an ultrasound and an office visit and said she would like to see me in two weeks to see how I responded to a medication. When I arrived for ************ visit, I paid half of the previous visits bill and 4 months later it has yet to applied to my bill, but is showing on the portal as paid, but not applied to services. That day, an ultrasound was performed and I was told Primary Dr was out of town so another Dr would take a few minutes to cover the results with me. This Dr came in and spent a total of 5 minutes and explained what she saw. No notes were recorded on the visit. This Dr had the audacity to code it is a Diagnostic Xray (it was an ultrasound) and charge me for a Diagnostic Medical exam. My insurance denied this and the cost for an almost identical visit (except for office visit, which shouldn't be there at all) was 4 times the amount. The worst part of it was this Dr who never even did an exam stated that she diagnosed me with anovulation, something that was not discussed nor has never been a diagnosis from any of my Drs. I have spent many hours back and forth with the billing department at this location and there does not seem to be an ability to understand the billing at all.

Worst customer service experience ever, I used to work that kind of job so here I am to make a complaint on the billing and resolution capabilities of this 'business'. After explaining multiple times to their 'healthcare providers' that our insurance doesn't cover any procedure, I had some labs that have been ordered, took over 6 MONTHS to receive the shocking amount of money wanted for ******. I do not know how they keep any patient, worst billing ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!Why is your pricing not up front? Why are you trying to help bankrupt citizens with your 3 times the normal rate for your lab test? I did a multiple resource for pricing on these labs not hard to do in this day and age of technology. Literally a fraction of what they are trying to charge for services!!!!Called multiple times to the customer service and no resolution, after wasting my time and energy ever since I received my bill 6 months after service and then another 3 months trying to get resolution. I encourage patients to seek help from other resources that actually care about their health and financial situations!!!!!

My three year old grandchild has been in a FastTrack room at ***************** for four hours. He has been unable to have a bowel movement for almost three days. We have been giving him Myralax and he was provided with a Fleet enima yesterday from a local Walk-in. He keeps crying that it hurts and he cannot sit. No providers have been in for vitals, to check on him or to inquire if he needs anything. This is a sorry excuse of a hospital and I would not recommend anyone to come here. (I rated one star only because I could not leave a review without selecting a star rating. )

BEWARE! **************, staff and I can't say enough good things about ******************! However, my disappointment comes from being told my 1 hour, outpatient IN NETWORK surgery was covered and then I got a bill for just under $95,000! The bill was so ridiculous that my insurance company wouldn't pay much because it wasn't "reasonable and customary." ************ finally lowered it to just over $33,000. How generous!!! ***** had asked them several times before my surgery what my responsibility would be and nobody knew. Imagine that. :(

I have to provide my updated ID at every appt. After verifying my name and address change at every appt for the past year, they sent private medical information to my maiden name at my old address and now someone has my private medical information and is harassing me. It took multiple calls to Ascension billing to get this corrected. I have yet to receive a statement to my correct address/name. When I call support, they keep telling me it has been escalated and I will get a call back from leadership. I never do. How am I supposed to pay a bill I never received and I am not getting any help with? I asked for this bill to be voided as they were negligent with my medical information, have not sent me a bill, and have been no help in getting a bill. I also asked for copies of my records and were denied. They have told me it is not allowed under a company policy and refuse to send me a copy of the company policy. They sent this bill to collections even though I have not even received a bill with information for me to pay it. I requested a collections pullback but I am still being harassed by the collections agency. I called today to get an update on the pullback and the request for it to be voided only to be told, I will get a call back. YEAH RIGHT!

If you have a broken bone this hospital will leave you in agony as they insult you by insinuating exaggerated symptoms They refuse to take type 1 diabetes seriously to boot. See hospitalist Dr. R*******, he's a poor listener to boot.

Again with the same billing issue we had a few years back, and wasn't resolved until I complained to the BBB. So here I am again with the same issue. The VA hospital requested the the Ascension ************** in **********, ** do an annual mammogram. I've had this done here in the past. The VA requested an another annual appointment this year, and I scheduled it just like normal. I go in and the check-in counter has no record of this being a VA referral but took me back to get the mammogram. We are all settled and they were told who the doctor making the referral is. Two weeks later we get a call saying that I am responsible for paying the bill. Today we get the bill for $350. Went into the Clinic, who no longer has their own billing department. They did give us a number to call, where we were #** in line, until they decided to just hang up on us. So here I am again with the BBB being the only avenue open to reach out to Ascension. We will never return to any Ascension facility - Outsourcing = giving up your customers to people that don't care
