I had no idea there was an account that was opened in my name until I received a notification my bank of funds attempting to be withdrawn. I spoke to a guy on the phone who grunted me Ill have the time to speak with my dealership on my current warranty and get back to them. This was one of the worst situations I have encountered with a business in my life. I was transferred to 4 different service representatives including 3 supervisors where they held me hostage to avoid cancelling the services. When I finally got the services cancelled I was advised I would receive full payment. I called everyday and was told the refund was coming and to please allow 45 days. I finally received a check for $29, after my account was withdrawn $2090. Never in any of the phone calls was I advised I would receive a prorated amount for refund. I was advised by the supervisors I spoke with I would receive a full refund. The services should have been cancelled they say before 6/10 which I called them everyday and was unable to get ahold of anyone. The automated system will auto place you for a call back and then never call you back. I spoke with Sureguard 6/11 & advised them I have been unsuccessful with getting ahold of a live person at their office it is practically impossible and I believe this is done on purpose. I was tested so poorly when I called in to speak with someone. First I spoke with ******* who was very rude and indicated she advised me I would receive a prorated amount in a previous call which I can promise you my last ***** she did not. I asked to speak with a supervisor where I was transferred to a **** who was as well very rude and confrontational, he said give him a moment to review the phone calls to confirm if I was advised of the prorated amount or not. I was placed on hold over 10 minutes he did not ask me for permission to place me on hold. All of a sudden there is another person on the phone who addressed himself as a supervisor ****.

I called asking to be taken off the mailing list noting I was not going to purchase any warranty extension. The agent was pushy and rude noting that my vehicle would be flagged in a national database as "risky." There was arrogance and a threatening tone in the agent's voice as he continued to talk over me as I was firmly trying to say I did not want the coverage. The agent continued to deliver an intimidating sales pitch... bullying, menacing, and hostile.

Another company trying to fool people into believing they have to purchase their vehicle warranty. This one was particularly clever since it had actual temporary ID cards that almost look like an insurance card or vehicle registration. I reached a human being to request to removal from their list, but I finally hung up at 11 minutes and 27 seconds of being on semi-permanent hold. Obviously a company that isn't really interested in customer service at all. This Rose is particularly concerning since our mail is known to be pirated and if an unscrupulous person got this, what would stop them from purchasing a warranty using my name address and our actual vehicle information.

I called to cancel the service because of the price and because it was something that was not needed.I was told to call customer service, which I did. I was then transferred to another department, where the guy started speaking to me in Spanish and hung up on **** do not want to do business with this company, nor do I want to be contacted anymore.

My complaint is about sure guard and it's ***s. **** and another *** of your company was very rude and unprofessional. My experience on the phone was ridiculous to the least and when I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told there was none available. I was talking about my complaint to the next *** he basically disregarded my feelings and gave a sarcastic apology and I was told well if you don't want the coverage it's no need to discuss anything further nonchalantly put I don't care what you want in so many words I'm done with this conversation. Is this how you deal with customers and to be told if I can't afford the coverage I shouldn't be driving. like how do you know what I can and can't do. I'm not one to just except things that I don't have time to think over. But no **** was so arrogant I could have been the same way but I was raised so much better and my phone etiquette shows when his ignorance prevailed. Never will I recommend this company it's dead in the water!

I'm complaining on sure guard because I can't afford the service due to my finances so I cancelled the service with them but they keep calling & harassing me about the payment. I cancelled back in June 2024, I told someone in customer service I have to cancel this service because I can't afford it! & they keep calling me. I would like for them to stop calling my phone.

I wish I could give negative ratings. This company is very suspicious, sending letters without a return address. When I called, the representative had the nerve to say its not illegal to mail without one. If your company were legitimate, why hide your address? He claimed my lender asked them to send the letter because my warranty was expiring. Yeah, rightmy lender tracks that? I laughed since I didnt even have a loan on that vehicle. What a joke! This seems like a scam to take peoples money.

If this is the SureGuard USA sending the elderly panicked paper mail about "FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY, EXTREMELY URGENT AND TIME SENSITIVE" and "Attached are your new ID cards for your (car) service contract. You MUST CALL NOW to activate your cards for the protection of your vehicle to be VALID." It shows two official-looking identification cards, printed with the elder name, address, car year make and model. The printed postal insignia reads *********, **. The phone they tell the elderly person to call is: one, eight eight eight, nine six zero, one five eight five. ******** and fear mongers, praying on the elderly. Shame on you, SureGuard USA.

Very deceptive. The return address had ***** but no association at all with ***** I thought it was the protection I had purchased from **** including fake registration cards. Any company that uses this to advertise is not ethical.
