      Horrible. Ordered Christmas gifts for my kids a month in advance. They were scheduled to arrive on time and then the shipping date got pushed to January. I will be returning all items. I also hold a Cabelas cc. I had a horrible experience with their customer service in India. I had to jump through hoops multiple times to make a purchase out of state. I AM NO LONGER A LOYAL CABELAS CUSTOMER!! I will be closing my account once I pay off my cc.

      I purchased a firearm at **************** and was cleared by dros by 11/2/23 did call prior 2 ask if I was able to pick it up as I did on a prior purchase of a firearm here and was told to come in and pick it up.At pick up was told there was a discrepancy between the use of my middle name on my motorcycle registration and my drivers license Supervisor at the time of pick up then asked ,what was my legal name and I showed my birth certificate which is the same registered on my drivers license and billing They then made a copy of my birth certificate. Im not certain as to why they made the copy but the atmosphere felt different, the supervisor said they still could not release my purchase and the initial clerk said somehow things had changed since I produced my birth certificate Im not sure why we were not now discussing a solution, but a refund.The first clerk who was initially handling the release came out and I told him that I had to go to work.He was speaking to someone on a headset and he said this guy is trying to run out of the door ? I told him I would return and restart the process. I returned and repeated and after a week I received a letter from the *** regarding the purchase informing me that a hold had been placed for 30 days. I have only had this experience but once before with a purchase I made at On Target Firearms in *******. I am not one to force my business on anyone, if my business is not welcome ,I have no issue there , but I am concerned about why the initial background check was cleared to go forward with my middle name and why the clerks were not knowledgeable about any potential problems that might arise, if indeed that was the issue. Furthermore even after being cleared, the release was held, and after that determination a copy of my birth certificate was obtained. *** never encountered this before And I am most concerned with why a copy of my birth certificate was made if it was not used for clearance what it was used for

      Horrible place I’m in interracial marriage was prevented from picking up firearms even after passing background checks. Accusations against me of buying gun that was for myself “boyfriend “ their words . Corrected associate several time you mean my husband. Asking if he had food card being loud in front of several customers… If that was how business felt about purchase could of denied me over phone instead of say ready to pick prior to driving from work to home and from home in Lansing Il to Hoffman Estates Cabelas to be told after seeing me and husband together dabating about if to purchase another firearm.. gone for almost 20 minutes to go get gun to come and ask several more questions of my intent with gun if buying for boyfriend.. again corrected said my husband.. no one should be single out in that manner if front of several other customers.

      My husband purchased a gun on line. He received confirmation to pick it up stating Hammond, IN store hours. However it did not state the gun counter actual closes before the store. We arrive shortly after the gun counter closed, so my husband was allowed to do his instant background check. They told him to go shopping and come back in about half an hour. We came back and were told because it was late, the background check was not going through and they would call the following day, however never did, The next day he tried to call multiple time but no one would answer the phone either at the gun counter nor customer service. I called the corporate office who got in touch with the store and told me they were busy. I asked that they return a call. When they did call they just said it was still pending. The following day (third day) and again nobody at the Hammond store can be bothered to answer the phone, Another call to corporate and I was transferred to the Hammond store manager that claims the issue is not on their end and that he had been waiting over a month for his background check to come out of the pending status. It became clear that the issue was in fact due to an issue with the store. Now that it has been over the 72 hours without a decision (approval, denial, or reason additional time is required) the store has the ability (*and responsibility) to follow up with the ATF, however the store is either unwilling or lack the knowledge to do the follow up. This is not the first issue we have had with poor customer service, but it will be the last. After we pick up the gun (or get a refund), we will use our remaining gift cards & then will forever be done with Cabela's (& Bass Pro).

      I ordered a shotgun. Two weeks later it arrived and I picked it up at the store. One day later, after picking up the shotgun, they have 15% off from everything including shotguns. I called customer service to see if they would honor the 15%, which amounted to $183.00. I was told that they could not honor this since it wasn't within a week. Technically it was within two weeks since the order didn't come in right away. I even asked to speak to a supervisor with no luck!
      If I could return the shotgun, I would!

      Horrible customer service except for Pat. I placed an order online, 2 weeks passed no email or anything about shipping. So ofc I called to find whats going on . They said my order was cancelled I was super upset because its an inconvenience now my items wont be delivered in time or not at all. Plus I was never notified that it was canceled so had I not called I would have never knew. Was given a $10 code for inconvenience, to replace my order. Replaced order, called them to check status 4 days later said this order is also canceled and I should go in store due to them having issues with online. So then I asked ok cool can I just have code for the $10 since Ill have to go in store and buy again. The woman said no and kept talking over me wouldnt let me finish a sentence so I did raise my voice out of frustration and asked for a supervisor but instead got hung up on. I called back and Pat was super understanding . I was only asking for what was already given ($10 off) nothing more for the inconvenience. Then I was transferred to **** who immediately was rude and started to defend then woman coworker Instead of staying of focused on the issue with my order. I asked **** for a supervisor multiple times, got told no, asked for corporate number was also told no, asked to speak to anyone else even asked for *** and was told no. In conclusion the customer service is literally horrible. They do not care at all. Only care about the money

      Bass pro has long been known for running a ad for an item an as soon as the sale date starts the item is out of stock. This has not only happened to me many times but also to lots of more people that I know. To me this is nothing more that to get you into the store after driving 2 hrs one way to find out that the have fault advertised the sale item that I went for you can't tell me that on the day is the sale start date that 1 hours after bass pro opened the doors that they are out of stock This is to me a bad way to run a business, not only for the purchaser but for the manufacturers. If they run an ad for a week and run out on the same day that is bull c*** Hope someone will look in to this issue and help out many loyal customers to not travel to get an item like a gun and find out the never had it . So Sorry, but it is true that it happens all the time. Thsnks

      This is one of the worst Bass Pros in the country! Their customer service is abysmal!! It is non existent!! If you like to hear a phone do nothing but ring, call any department in this store!! IF you do get ahold of anyone all they say is they are way too busy to answer phones! Yet if you go into the store, ghost town! The employees who are there are useless! They are great at playing grab a** but not at actually helping customers. I recently made an online order to be picked up. I made the order early in the day thinking they would have ample time to fulfill the order by the time I was able to get to the store. NOPE! Not even close! After 4 hours I had not received an email so I stopped by to see what was going on. I did try calling, but nothing but a ringing phone. The salesperson told me they could do nothing until I received the email. The product I wanted would have taken me about 10 minutes to get. I told the sales person to cancel my order but that was not possible. My option was to go just do what I should have done originally, just gone and bought it and pay for two items, only to have to try and return one. I gave up and left, hoping I get the email that they finally found the time to get my item. Never again!!

      Terrible customer service. Ordered well over 50.00 in items which was suppose to be free shipping. Wife said if it's free shipping, please send it to our home. They said we'll send it to the local store. We didn't know anything over 50.00 was free shipping but expected the employee to tell us. She didn't. When I found out (10 minutes later) I called and tried changing it to free shipping to our home and they said sorry too late. Really ? Too late after 10 minutes. Then an email comes in telling us if there's any changes we wanted on our order, to do it immediately before it begins processing. WTF. This place is a joke. Never going back. Worst by 100% since BPS bought out Cabela's. Cabela's respected their customers. BPS could give a _ _ _ _ less about them.

      The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced! I made an order for 5 items, I received a package with 2 items that were not what I ordered. I started the chat to get my items that I ordered. ***** told me I had to return the items I recieved then they would ship my replacement... she also waited at least 10mins between each response making it take over an hour and still not fixing their mess up... filing a charge back. Do Not Buy Online!
