I purchased a tracker ATV in October 2021. After 10 months of use, the engine seized. I took it to the service department in September 2022 to get repaired, assuming the year warranty would cover the repairs. After a few months, the service shop called me and reported that Tracker will not cover the repairs because they claim the engine damage was due to bad gas. They quoted me approximately $2k for repairs. It is now August 16, 2023 and the repairs are still not complete. Every time I call the service department the phone rings and rings and nobody picks up. On the rare occasion someone answers, I get put on hold for 10+ minutes. I've owned the ATV for almost 2 years, but half of that time it has been in the shop. Very frustrated.

I wouldn't even give them a one star, we purchased a 2020 Tracker 800 SX Crew Side By Side, that we have had problems with from day 1. I have been waiting for 5=6 months to get it fixed and was called Saturday to cancel my appt again!! I have called th manager several times and no response. Unfortunately, i can not get anyone else to work on it because Bass Pro is the only place certified to work on Trackers, yet they have no mechanic. They want me to take it somewhere in North *******! I am writing corporate and will file suit if need be !DONT BUY A TRACKER

I ordered a Sig ***** P320 Xten from the online store and requested to pick it up at their Cabella's store in ******* ****** IL. I received two emails stating the pistol was ready for pickup. After the first I called and was told they had not received it. I received another email from a bass pro shop customer advocate and she told me the pistol was on one of their truck being delivered to the store. Two days later is when I received the 2nd email stating the pistol was ready for pickup. This time I went to the store and the firearm counter where I told a sales associate I was there to pick up my pistol he told me to go stand by a sign that said "firearm pickup". There was one other customer at the counter being helped by a different sales associate. About ******************************************************************************************* the store. He went to find it but came back and said it was not there. I asked for a manager who told me there was nothing he could do, and he could not tell where the pistol was. He said that maybe it will be there the following week. I have been charged for the pistol but ***** can tell me when I will receive it. I still need to make two more trips back to the store. I would recommend that people think twice before making purchases online.

Went to the gun store. I was greeted and asked if they had the new double stack Kimber 9mm or if they knew if they had one coming in. Basically, they told me they would probably never have that gun although they pretty much have every variant of the Kimbers in stock. Then I asked if they had a 9mm speed loader in stock for a P365 double stack. They pointed to rack and said it might be there and then the two employees went back to their conversation pretty much ignoring other customers as well. I could not find it. Then my father-in-law asked about #2 buckshot and the store did not have it; then they asked why he needed it. The employees seemed to be more interested in one another. Upon leaving the store I told the store manager *** and he said he would handle it. I know I have bought three guns from your store in the last year. I do not go to stores to waste my time. By the time I have got to the store I have pretty much read and reviewed anything I am planning to buy. Shame you have a great selection of guns sitting on the shelf and no one who cares about selling merchandise. I feel that might be a poor situation for the store having employees who do not care about doing their job or assisting a customer on the other side of the display counter. Plenty of guns stores around. you might as well shut yours down if employees cannot even get the grasp of courtesy and good old fashioned customer service. I can now say " I will not waste my time coming back again and that now goes about visiting any of your stores again. I will also be contacting the better business bureau and filing a complaint with them too.

If I could give a 0 star I would. Applied for their credit card got approved. only to have them close it down. Then get told we'll you can reapply. Why only to have this company ding my credit report with their hard inquiries. What a bad practice from a company

A contract was written for a purchase of a new pontoon boat in ************ ********. All our obligations they required in the contract were all meet They required $500.00 down and remainder of $45,000 in a cashier check was made out to them. The sales representative of bass pro made some money mistakes in the contract and a lied about boats on inventory to us. The problem is they wanted us to make up the difference in the mistakes that were made on their end and they didn't have what we negotiated. Not only did we lose interest in a withdrawal of $45,000 from our checking account but also our time and gas. We also took his advice on purchasing life jackets and other accessories for the new boat which I regret. We were told he was terminated because of this issue. We tried to negotiate a deal since they screwed up the contract that was signed but they refused. If it was the other way around I guarantee they would have held us to the deal. Bank check was already made out at our cost and down payment. I recommend the public giving their business somewhere else for boat or other large purchases. Another dealer will be getting our money.

So last year on November 25 Black Friday Sale I bought a Garmin Echo Map Ultra 106 SV with Transducer. It was on sale for $899.97 (great deal as it is regularly priced around $1799). This is where I made the mistake, I let the salesperson talk me into buying the Bass Pro Gear Guard three-year repair plan for $179.99. He told me the plan would cover me to the point where if it broke, I could bring it into Cabela's, and they would replace it. Not true at all, I blame myself here as I should have read the program before I bought it.
Sunday, June 25 I am out fishing, and the screen goes black, and it will not turn on. I call Gear Guard and tell them it is broke, and I am going to take it to Cabela's and get a new one. That is when I am told you can take it in, but they are going to send it out for repair and not replace it. Then they proceed to tell me if they can't fix it, they will give me money back. How long will this take, well several weeks. Well, I hung up and called Garmin. After ten minutes on the phone with a customer service rep I am being shipped a new unit over night for $18 dollars.
Now that is customer service. I feel as if I wasted $179.99.
My advice read the Gear Guard Policy very closely. If you buy the three -year repair plan (you are only eligible for the two-year replacement plan if the product is valued at $25 to $499.99) so my product was not eligible, and they sold me the three-year plan (even though I was told you can bring it in the store for replacement). NO, I should have read it - I can bring it in for a repair. And here is where I feel is also, they were not up front about - You can make multiple claims, but only to value of the product. Guess what the value of the product I was overnight shipped from Garmin is $695 so essentially pretty much one repair. Again, read before you buy this plan. The salesperson needs to understand the plan, so they are honest to the customer. Clearly not better than the manufacturer's warranty.

i went to buy a new boat, agreed on price, put money down, waited to hear when it would be ready, was told 3-6 days, then get a call 2 days later saying they sold the boat to somebody else. their only response was to order a more expensive boat and that they would be nice and return my refund. had to call back to get refund of down payment on a boat they sold from underneath me. no sympathy for lost time and money from an error on their part completely.

Cabela's is nothing like it used to be. I remember NEVER missing a chance to stop at a store and shop. Now I don't even bother stopping. Merchandise quality especially in men's clothing is now not worth buying compared to when Cabela's brand clothing used to be top of the line. When Bass Pro did their "backdoor" buyout of Cabela's stock and took control everything about the store went downhill. My advice, drive by, visit the stores starting with the letters W, K, or T. Quality is the same, prices are lower.
