LMS parking is a criminal organization that scams unfortunate victims out of their money and they sure dont let ethics stand in the way of making money.A misunderstanding led to me waking up the first day in my new apartment with a boot on my car. I called to explain the situation and was scolded for asking for special treatment. I was just seeking a little ***** while acknowledging my role in the misunderstanding. But no, each time I called I was treated worse.LMS parking goes straight to booting vehicles cause they cant do anything to enforce their Mickey ***** parking tickets. Just a bunch of clowns. And not even the good kind. The creepy kind that makes you hate clowns as a kid.I cant wait for them to post the same cowardly cut and paste response that they have to all of the other similar stories on here.LMS Parking Enforcement

Hello,LMS Parking is contracted to manage and enforce parking regulations put in place by the community's management team. LMS Parking utilizes the wheel lock method of enforcement as a lower cost alternative to immediately towing a vehicle that is parked in violation of established parking regulations. Vehicle owner's can prevent being wheel locked or towed by adhering to the community's parking regulations. LMS Parking cannot make exceptions for any person.Respectfully,LMS Parking ManagementReview fromOlivia P

This company has made what was supposed to be a beautiful day, horrendous. I moved my car inside of my boyfriends apartment gate to load my car up with balloons for my daughters birthday. I came out an hour or so later with a boot on my car. Her party was in an hour or so, and I didnt have time to handle the boot situation, all while getting my girls ready. We had to stuff all the balloons in my boyfriends car, making us extremely late to the party as I had packed my car full. I called multiple times that morning and go no call back (hence me not having the time to wait for a callback), so I went to the party. I got home from the party, and I call them multiple times and finally reach someone who informs me an agent will call me soon. An hour passes with no phone call. At this point, Ive involved management at the apartment and she states shes contacted the manager and I will receive a call soon. Another 30 minutes pass by, I call again. I finally reach someone and start off by saying how ridiculous this is and how Ive waited for over an hour and am stranded and missing my daughters family gathering. He tells me he sent an agent and the agent called me and I didnt answer. I received no call in that time frame. An agent calls me minutes later, and I ask if he has already come out and he says no, they told me they were having issues finding someone. So they gaslit me on the phone, all the while they tell the agent they couldnt get someone to me. I do think they were trying to protect themselves since they cannot legally boot someones car and become unresponsive. I still paid the $180, and I call management back and tell them about my experience. While he did say he was investigating he kept reiterating how the agent came out and how it was my fault and this situation could have been avoided- after stating mutiple times I have no issue paying the fee, its the fact they left me stranded and still took my money. Do not live anywhere that is managed by LMS!LMS Parking Enforcement

LMS placed a boot on my car on 1/25/24. When i called to have it removed, the guy who answered the phone came with a gun on his side and asked if i was paying cash or cc. I told him crc. He took a picture of my id and handed it back to me. Then he was about to take a picture with his cell phone of my cc when i told him he does not have my permission due to fraud. He then got angry when i asked him about LMS policy regarding taking pictures of cc’s and said that its a policy between employees only. When i asked him if i could take a picture of his badge with his name and picture on it he said he has other things to do and sped off leaving me outside with the boot on my tire for about an hour. I called 911 and they sent two police cars out. I explained to the police what occurred and they agreed to wait with me so i could call him back and have him return. I didnt want to wait alone because the LMS guy had a gun and was angry from the first time he came out and left. When i called back with the police listening to the call, the same guy answered and said i would now have to pay $50 since it was after a certain time, which was only the case because he left me there and $20 for him coming back. When he arrived again he saw the police with me and stated that he was not charging any additional fees. I asked him in front of the police not to take a picture of my credit card and again he said it was policy. I told him that his request to take a picture of my cc was in violation of Visa’s merchant agreement. He said he had to make sure the names matched. i asked him to verify by looking at the name on the id and the name on the cc. He then said he needed a picture. The police suggested he cover up my card number by placing my id on top while taking the picture. He lied and said thats what he did the first time. When i asked to show me the photo he took earlier, he ignored me and began taking off the boot after running my card then left. LMS has horrible biz practicesLMS Parking Enforcement

Hello,
LMS Parking agents are able to all safety precautions available to them by law while working. To use a Credit or Debit Card a Photo ID that matches the card is required and will be scanned into the system. All agents are equipped with body cameras and all phone calls are recorded for quality assurance.

I just got off the phone with the manager of the this business and despite sharing the fact that the Handicapped parking permit was in the vehicle of my 89 year old father, he doesn't drive and has a caregiver drive him so the car had not moved. After making Andrew aware he still refused to waive the fee and simply remove the boot. Again, my father is 89 on a limited income, has health problems and they still needed the $100.00,
He has lived at the same complex for 5 years, and parked in the same spot. So the facts, permit was not on the window, it was on the seat, and remains on the seat until a caregiver can put up the tag.
When did reason get lost on a small business. I am well connected to one of the largest parking companies in the US and they would never squeeze a senior given the scenario.
However, based on the ratings it seems like this is a practice that is prevalent but is so unnecessary. It was disappointing to hear the response and the lack of empathy, clearly a Customer service failure.LMS Parking Enforcement

I attempted to pay my fine with my VISA credit card. The ticket agent said she needed to see my ID. I presented my ID and then she said she had to take a picture of both my ID and credit card. I refused. Why would I allow some stranger to take a photo of such vitally important items and then store it on their cell phone? After I refused, the agent said she couldn't accept anything other than a cash payment. I called the number on the placard to clarify it was a company policy their agents take photos of IDs/CCs. The call rep confirmed it was. That is absurd and I have never heard of any company with such a policy. I paid in cash. Regardless, I looked up VISA's merchant agreement and it appears LMS Parking is in violation. I have filed a formal complaint with VISA as their rules state: "In general, a merchant is permitted to ask for identification but cannot require it as a condition of Visa card acceptance. However, there are exceptions, for example, if Visa has granted the merchant permission to require identification under certain circumstances for fraud control." Nowhere is there anything about sketchy persons with badly dyed purple hair accompanied by a man who looked like the real-life version of Deliverance being allowed to take photos of your credit card and ID. I take full responsibility for parking where I wasn't permitted, however, I'm not going to set myself up for potential identity theft. This seems something the attorney general should look into.LMS Parking Enforcement

Hello,
To accept payments via card LMS Parking does required the card holder is present with a valid Photo ID. The Photo ID will be scanned into our system just as it would by a retailer selling alcohol, tobacco, or similar age restricted product. The same as it would be by a vehicle rental company. Any person who does not wish to provide their Photo ID is always welcome to pay via cash.
Respectfully,

Your comment only illustrates that you are predatory and don't actually have a clue as to what you're talking about. Parking fines are not age restricted. There are no federal or state laws that state such. It also doesn't matter whether cash or a credit card is being used for age restricted items, it will prompt the request for an ID because Federal and state laws require it so the fact you admit one can circumvent providing an ID by paying cash is proof you're nothing like the sale of alcohol or tobacco. Furthermore, the scanners used by retailers for the sale of age restricted products are bar code readers only. They scan the bar code on the back of an ID to determine if a transaction can proceed. No information is collected or stored from the id. Your agents are demanding to take a PHOTO of IDs/CC with their CELL PHONES. It's not remotely the same. It's also illegal in the state of SC for non-banking, medical, credit reporting businesses to do. It's clear as day you're demanding photos as an attempt to challenge charge disputes.Review fromTia C

This company is illegally booting peoples cars in horry county. If you are dealing with them look up the booting laws for your county and if you find they are doing it illegally screen shot the laws and call the police. Show them the laws this way you have proof. Horry county police told them its illegal for them to do it in horry county and they where no longer allowed to boot on our property so if you live in Horry county and have payed this company you can file a civil suit for illegal practice and get your money back . For all other counties research your laws on booting a vehicle. The lady working out of Myrtle Beach SC is very rude she was even rude to the officer .LMS Parking Enforcement

I hope the lady i just encountered in my apartment complex rots in ****. Such a horrible human being with no sympathy for me about to run out of gas with my small child in the freezing cold rain. Only care about forcing their new one way rule which forces me to drive completely around the entire complex when i live right at the front. These are the worst peopleLMS Parking Enforcement
