      Hello!I would like some support in getting the promised refund from take 5 oil change. I have received timely oil change services from that location for my vehicle for the last two years. While getting my car serviced by my mechanic in April 2023, he told me the drain plug for my oil plan was completely stripped, continuously spinning and slow leaking oil. I took a video and my mechanic sent me a quote, I sent both of these to the Take 5 manager and hr approved my refund claim for a little less than $500.The week I contacted Take 5 I was also moving addresses, so when they called me to tell me they approved my claim and sent my check, I said "well the address that's been in there for years was never confirmed so now I'm at a new address so you'll have to cancel and resend it." They gave me a lot of issues about that detail change but I finally got them to tell me they resent the check to my new address. This was in April 2023, and I have been trying my best to get in touch with someone there. The manager told me to stop calling him and that its not his issue anymore, and to contact **. Who refuses since April to call me back or give me information. If I could get assistance with communication with whomever it concerns, I would be very grateful. Having a leaking oil pan and not the means to fix it is very anxiety spiking and concerning.

      Hello,My name is *********************. I had a routine oil change at your location at ********************************************************** on Monday, December 11, 2023. The technicians that serviced my car did not reattach the splash shield (aka skip plate aka engine cover) properly. I know because today I was on my way to work when I heard the splash shield detach while I was driving on the highway. I could hear it scraping the road and flapping around. Fortunately I was not too far from from Take 5 location so I returned and asked if they could fix that part, which they did. However, when I asked if I could get a refund on yesterday's oil change the assistant manager ****** said no and became rather belligerent at the request.I was upset because I had to forfeit work due to negligence caused by your staff. He argued with me and at one point wanted to fight me. I declined and left instead. This is absolutely unacceptable customer service. This all happened today around 4:20pm or so. I'm sure you can watch the security camera footage. I also have the entire incident captured on my car's dashcam.I tried calling ************** but it went to voicemail. This is extremely unprofessional as well.I would like to be refunded for the oil change and frankly I would like to be compensated for wages I lost by not being able to go to work. The job I was going to was for Amazon Flex and they have very strict punctuality rules. There is no way that I would have been able to get to work on time even after the plate was fixed.I do not want to make this a legal matter and I'm sure you do not want to, either.Please call or email me back ASAP.I can be reached at ************ thank you,*********************

      Had ******************* change for posted price of $81.99 and had a $25 off coupon. Was quoted price of $56.99 plus tax over phone. Oil change was performed and when I got the bill there was a $3.99 ************ charge and a $13.99 oil filter charge so my total bill including tax was $80.03 neither of these extra charges were disclosed to me at start of oil change, they were disclosed to me after the service was performed if I knew they were going to add on those charges before the oil change I would not have the service performed I was shocked when I got the bill went in for a $56.99 oil change and ended up paying $80.03 due to their deception on pricing

      I went to get a oil change on November 18, 2023 nothing was wrong with my truck over I got the oil changed my truck started running very rough acting like it didnt want to accelerate so I borrowed my uncle van wrong days after Christmas let the truck sit so on December first I went to drive the car and went auto zone to get breaks rotors and calibers it was still riding rough acting like it didnt want to start so I parked it again and it smelled like I needed oil so I had my uncle check my oil and there was no oil in there so I let the car sit then I took it back up to take5 and he put more and said I needed a oil changed and I showed him my receipt from November 18th after he put the oil in my truck it didnt start they gave me a jump I road up the hill 1 min away from take5 pulled in my aunt driveway I left the truck running it turned off by it self I tried to start it and it made a crazy noise I called a mechanic he came to look checked my oil its very dirty like I never got a oil change and he told me that blew my engine

      Went to have my oil changed November 22. On November 23 my car started severely smoking from the tail pipes and the engine started running terrible. Had it towed to Take 5 because I was scared to drive it, the technician told me to "drive the smoke off" so I drove it to a mechanics shop. The mechanic said Take 5 filled it with the wrong oil, over filled it with oil, and used the wrong oil filter. The next day my car would not start at all and hasn't started since. The mechanic said I will need a new engine. The Take 5 District Manager went to the mechanic's shop to see if it was their fault and to see what repairs need to be made. Still waiting on Take 5 to contact me with the verdict.

      I had my oil and air filter change and my vehicle was damaged in the process. I took the car to the dealership who corrected the problem for a fee. I took the car and evaluation back to 5 minute oil change and the manager agreed to reimburse me for the damages. That was over 90 days ago. I reached out to them and was told that they sent my check to the wrong address. I have yet to receive the check. Please help.

      On December 1, 2023, I went to take 5 in **** ,** to get my oil changed. While I was there the employee assisting me brought it to my attention that my drain pipe was stripped and he was unable to remove it. He continued on with the oil change leaving the drain pipe how he had it and using an evac to vacuum the oil remaining in my car, out. Resulting in an oil leak that by Sunday, December 3, 2023, left it completely empty which I had no idea about until I made it to the other take 5 location in **** to attempt getting the stripped drain pipe fixed as I was instructed to. When I arrived and let them know what had happened prior to me going that day, they told me to turn my vehicle off because the oil was almost pouring out. When I made it inside of the garage for them to start on my vehicle, Im not sure what they did first but afterwards, they told me to try and turn my car on and there is when I realized my engine was locked and my car was not turning on at all. We were never able to get it on so they did get my car towed to a local auto shop on Franklin *** in ****,**. When I asked for contact information for the boss they were only able to provide me with an email address. When I did message them to try and get information regarding my vehicle, they told me their claim department would not be processed for ***** hours leaving me and my family without a vehicle for me to get my children to/from school and myself to work. Resulting in me having to call out of work multiple days. I have contacted them and their claims department trying to figure out what theyre going to do regarding a vehicle for my family and I and all they said was there was nothing they could do since it was already in their insurances hand, fleet response. I find this whole situation super disappointing and just unfair that they have not tried accommodating my family and somebody taking accountability for this inconvenience they have left for me and my family to figure out.

      My 2016 ****** impreza was taken to the Take 5 oil change business in *********, ** ***** on 11/18/2023 at 3:04 P.M.. The techs were asked to perform a oil change; however, they failed at this task. The techs drained the TRANSMISSION fluid out and did not repalce it and then added engine oil to the car which ********* the motor. I have since been in contact with the local shops Take 5 manager and the car is at the dealership. The dealership said the car needs a new transmission and oil flush. The total cost for these repairs is over $10,000. I've been told on numerous occassions that a Take 5 representative would be contacting me to resolve this issue; however, no one other than the local manager has contacted me. All I'm asking for is the Take 5 oil change make the required repairs to correct their error.

      On Aug 5,2023 I went to Take 5 olOil change to get my suv service for an Oil change..I paid $122.10 for a service that was Terrible. I observe some young children from Skyline high school working on my car..They never showed me how much oil was put in the vehicle and never came in the car to reset my oil light..Four weeks later my engine started to knock.I checked my oil it was any in my car I had absolutely no leaks..I went back to Tak 5 let them see my truck and they said they wasn't responsible. I wasn't due for another oil change until Nov It was Sept 14th/15th.Took my truck to ****** Infiniti for diagnostic and they reported my engine locked due to low oil.Two quarts low.My estimate to fix my suv is $35,000 .I gave Take 5 a chance to fix it and They denied me without telling me why..Please help me

      On Nov 30 2023 I went there with my fiancee he had air put into his tesla. I had only went for an oil change. Right after the job was done I was going across causeway bridge me being handicapped and my disabled daughter completely broke down..the jeep shut down and thankfully was able to coast on the emergency pull over on right side of bridge going towards *********** at mile marker 10.5...called take 5 immediately 3 times once I was sent over to their fleet.either disconnected or hung up on they were supposed to come tow us..*************** several cars stopped to help us..I had to use my insurance for towing and I've called again. They gave me a case number this time..with no call backs....my jeep is totally non drivable parked at home...can't go to work can't get meds filled can't go to docs appts. Can't go to store..nowhere period..fluids are still leaking out and it won't start....we both was scared and stuck on the causeway bridge for 3 or so hours dealing with take 5 then finding out through officers I could call my insurance..I've Googled I'm not the only by far that they have ruined engines..I used one in ******** a few yrs I had an issue there but they acted like they cared now I went to this one not being able to live a life from an oil change...we both have high anxiety n both disabled..not having my jeep to get anywhere..stranded n stuck at home.

      I am rejecting this response because: the take 5 oil change put me out of work. I'm an Uber Driver. I drove there for an oil change. They broke my oil cooler. It lead ******* disabled daughter to be trapped on the causeway bridge in the middle for 3 hours and they aren't taking responsibility..The company made me lose my jeep.And they expect to just keep on till someone else goes through this...after the fact I heard alot of bad business with this one shop...They did alot of damage to ******* daughter over an oil change
