      I received an oil change on October 18th, ****, and have significant issues with my engine and the car mechanic said my oil was not in good shape. My oil is extremely dark and not even filled to the fill line. I am holding take 5 oil change responsible for the repairs I have to receive on my vehicle and am demanding that I be refunded.       The customer came to the shop a month after the oil change was complete and stated he had issues with the car and took it to a mechanic. He stated the mechanic told him the oil was black and needed to be changed. The customer was claiming that we did not do the oil change. After reviewing the video of this transaction, everything was done by the book and the oil was changed. This customers oil was changed and his issues are not a result of anything that Take 5 did.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      We did not state that the oil change was not completed, we stated that it was either poorly done or done with the wrong oil, which THREE other professional car mechanics told us. all we want is a reimbursement for the money to have gotten our oil changed again less than a month later. We were dissatisfied with the longevity of their work, so we feel as if it is only fair that they hear and understand the customer complaints. I have called around to other oil change shops to ask if they have ever given money back to an unsatisfied customer and ALL out of the 4 said yes.

      I took my 2018 ******* Elantra to get an oil change on 8/16th at the Take 5 oil company, *****************************************************************. The attendants proceeded to change my oil on my vehicle. In the month of October, my vehicle started over heat, engine noise started to sound and the car shut off. I had to have the vehicle towed to a shop. After the shop inspected the vehicle, they informed me that the plug (to went they changed the oil) was not properly secured and leaked. Due to that issue, the shop told me I would need a new engine as the engine is not repairable anymore. I have been calling constantly to get a resolution to the location to where I took my vehicle at, the phone that the representative gave me and no one has called me back, even after leaving numerous voicemails. I am very upset due to the fact that I am without a vehicle and they have not bothered to find a resolution to the problem.

      They did not put enough oil in my vehicle, and they did not want to take ownership, nor they did not fix the problem.I got my oil changed November 9, 2013 at 1:44 PM then returned to take five on November 15 at 1:30 PM It has been less than a week that I got my oil changed.

      we review the ****** camera and found that the correct amount of oil was put into the vehicle and also saw no footage of her ever returning on said date or time. The shop manager was the employee who worked on and poured the oil in, and has no recollection of this person ever saying anything about it or ever returning to ask about it. Therefore I really have no answer for you except that what we saw on camera was all done correctly.

      On September 17, 2023 I brought my 2020 ***** Silverado **** to Take 5 Oil Change. I got the dura *** full synthetic with ***************. They gave me a little sticker that said come see us in December of 2023, no mileage was posted on the sticker. October 30, 2023 my check engine light came on and I called Beaver ***** dealership where I bought the truck and they had me bring it into them on Nov 6, 2023. On Nov 7, 2023 the dealership calls me to tell me that my engine was bad because my oil filter was not replaced properly and that Take 5 was responsible for the repair because they failed to properly install filter. My warranty also said they will not fix engine because it is Take 5 Oil responsibility and Take 5 said No they will not take responsibility so now the small consumer once again is the victim

      July, 2023 had my 2019 ***** xc40 oil changed. In September I went to get two new tires and they discovered oil was leaking into my tire well and should go back to where I had my oil changed to get this attended to. After four tries by Take 5, they couldnt stop the leak. **** the store manager said he spoke with district manager and he said for me to go to a mechanic and have this problem resolved and they would reimburse me. I had the repair done and sent invoice to *************************** as per ***** instructions. It has been over two weeks and ********** has not contacted me. I have returned to see **** several times and he says there is nothing more he can do. He said he sent ********** my number several times. He refused to give me Mr. **** number. Please advise if you can help me. Thanks

      I got an oil change done yesterday at take five on Mockingbird and **********. This morning as soon as I left my house, my car started to idle and knock. I went to the closest service center near me, which happened to be ******** I was told that my skid plate was dragging and missing several screws. It had not been put back on correctly. In addition, I was spewing oil everywhere, and was told that my oil plug Was not screwed on properly. My skid plate appears to be ruined. Yesterday, I recall the lady who was changing my oil underneath the bay, yelling, and complaining that she could not get the skid plate off and also complained about having difficulties getting it back on my. Upon calling today to try and get them to resolve this issue for me and develop a solution; one of the employees at the shop, was trying to convince me that my skid plate couldve already been loose and dragging. I asked him, wouldnt that have been notated, and or brought to my attention upon servicing my vehicle? He didnt know how to respond and said that they would look at it. He also claimed that there was no leak and everything was fine. Upon pulling the broken skid plate out of my trunk with a puddle of oil on it he proceeded to say oh, there must be a leak. The same lady that performed my oil change yesterday doesnt recall having any difficulty while performing an oil service on my car. I am unfortunately out of a skid plate that will need to get replaced immediately in addition to a knocking engine, that will need to be looked at by a professional at *********** If I am not contacted by the district manager, I have no issue seeking legal action.

      I cant remember the exact date this happen but I went to take 5 to go get a oil changed and it took a few days but after a while my car was making this noise and I was driving on the highway and my car started smoking up and than it stopped so I had to get my car pulled back home I had to have someone come look at my car because it stopped working well my engine had a hole at the bottom of it so my engine is messed up but my oil filter wasnt all the way on thats why oil was leaking from my car , well the point is Take 5 didnt put my oil filter back on right and it messed up my engine

Please know that we have completed a thorough investigation of the situation, and also reviewed all of the documents and/or evidence you or your service provider have currently presented.  At this time, we have determined this factual evidence does not support a claim of poor workmanship, or a service-related issue related to Take 5 Oil Change.

      Hello this is Innocence ********** get it right my last name is no ************************* unless one **** type my dang last name wrong and I know exactly when they changed my oil so lets get this understood I dont know how my car kept going so long without it blowing up anyway but now it have I cant remember the exact day this happen but I did have a professional Mechanic tell me what was wrong with my car and how this happen and the only mother ******* who changed my dang  oil is **** but your a** dont have to worry about it because Im do everything in my power to sue **** a** !!!!! This aint the first time I done heard **** messing up people cars but dont try get out this one trying ******** with me dates and s*** mother f*** I know when I went to get the oil change and mother I know it was **** who ****** up my dang car too stop playing with me !!!!

      I had an oil change done on my wife's Lexus 250is , Take 5 Tech changed the Cabin Filter unproperly and damaged the Bleed Door Actuator, because before you change the Bleed Door Actuator you're supposed to change the fan settings to Cabin circulation instead of exterior circulation, and if that's not done , when you insert the new filter ,it will damage the Bleed Door Actuator, which is made of plastic materials, so I went back to get that fixed which they took the Filter out and re-inserted and said maybe that was loose in there and it should be OK now , but it didn't fix the problem, upon getting it checked by a certified mechanic, they explained the whole problem, and recommended to go back to Take5 and asked them to do something about it, went back and saw the manager named ****, I explained him the problem and he said that this is coincidental that this happened, you can get it fixed for couple of hundred dollars, once I checked with couple of Raputable Auto shops, there estimates are well over Thousand dollars, so I went back to Take5 to see **** the manager, and he told me they're not liable for this problem and do whatever I want to do.       I am rejecting this response because: I went back within few days of the problem that I had after the replacement of the cabin filter, the Attendant checked & removed the filter & said it should be OK now , maybe it was loose in there , after I drove off not even a quarter of mile ,it started the noise again & I didn't feel like going back right away ,but it wasn't probably recorded that I was there & I didn't ask for the manager or someone responsible. But I know that very few people would accept there mistakes or wrong doing , I was in the impression of that every Honest business would take Responsibility for there mistakes but that proves me wrong, they would not accept there wrong doing , & make every excuse that there's in the book . Hopefully they would get sued some day . Not satisfied but I knew there attitude when I was there to see Mr. ******* that they would not take Responsibility for what they did .

      Oil changed 9/30/2023. Sometime after I returned to my apartment in ******** for school I noticed oil under my car the next morning. Had the car towed to a ****** Dealer in *********, **. ****** diagnosed a missing oil pan plug. I am seeking reimbursement for the ****** charges, towing, and rental car. On October 31, I had my father contact *****************, Take 5 District Manager and forward him the documentation for all the charges, who is not responding after several subsequent attempts to obtain the status. Additionally, my father has attempted to get their customer service to respond on three occasions of getting voice mail and leaving a messages. Clearly, they are taking no accountability for the oil pan plug that was not securely reinstall.

My father was able to get in touch with their CEO, *************************************** at ************* in *********, who had ********************* **************, call and hopefully began moving things along with his claims department.
