      Saturday August 27, 2023 I went to get an oil change and after I left the oil filter snapped right off. And now my whole engine needs to be repaired or replaced.

      took my car to take 5 in ************ ******* and they did;"nt put the skid guard back up properly took it back and the guys said he fixed it and did"nt went on vacation it cameback and down TORE IT ALL UP ! called them didn''t fix it wont return calls as promised to get the problem solved

      I did the oil change and coolant fluid change in Take 5 Oil Change located in ********************************************************************** on August 13, 2023. Initially, I was informed the oil change would cost $79 for synthetic oil after coupon and coolant fluid change would cost $80 after coupon. However, upon starting of the service, they sent me total $227.56 cost shown in the statement. I did not agree with this additional charge that was not communicated to me beforehand, and wanted to switch to other shop for oil change. But they told me they could not stop their service. Upon completion of the service, my credit card was charged $227.56 without my signature. On August 14, I reported it to the customer service at **************, and never received any resolutions.

      Hunter the response to this is the COOLANT SERVICE IS NOT FREE, this is the customer upset that the service for a coolant exchange was the price is what, we clearly expressed the service was an additional service not a free service. Credit CARDs also cant be processed without the customer consent, we hand the machine to the customer to enter their cards to be processed and they must add their pin or sign the machine. SO, this is simply an attack to get a free service and a full refund,that I will not give. I am backing my team and my shop that does not provide this service to our customers.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      1) I have never asked for free coolant service as ****** explained in the response. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied and concerned about the transparency and professionalism of your service. I firmly believe that customers should be informed of any changes in service charges before the work begins, and they should not be forced into a situation where they have no choice but to comply with unexpected price increases.

      2)At that point, I expressed my objection to the unexpected price hike and informed your staff that I wished to discontinue the services. However, I was informed that this was not possible due to the engine oil having been drained during the initial stages of the service. Consequently, I felt compelled to pay the revised amount of $227.56 under duress, without providing my signature or explicit consent.

      3)I kindly request that you investigate this matter thoroughly and provide a prompt and satisfactory resolution. This may include a refund of the excess charges or an adjustment of the bill to align with the initial price quotes provided to me.

      4)I would appreciate your urgent attention to this matter. If necessary, I am prepared to escalate this complaint to relevant consumer protection agencies and regulatory authorities in accordance with the consumer rights and protection laws of *********.

      I went in for an oil change. I asked them to check all my fluids. My windshield wiper fluid light was on upon entering. When I left my windshield wiper fluid was still on. I asked them before I pulled out. Did they check it. They said that they could not find it, I am a woman who knows very little about cars however, I am able to put in windshield wiper fluid in my own car. How can someone who is supposed to be trained in that field not do the same. I also went with expectations of having my tire pressure checked, that also did not occur , I feel like I was cheated out of money just to have my oil changed if they even really did that zero out of 10 I would not recommend. Now I am out of money, and I still am going to have to spend money to get the rest of my car serviced correctly.

Since this complaint our store manager ****** has called the customer twice and nobody answered. He left a voicemail and is waiting on the customer.       I had my air conditioner in my car repaired at Take 5 on March 26, 2022. There was a year warranty on the service and a life time guarantee on the parts which was an A/C Compressor Kit and Cabin Air Filter, $608.28 and $28.44. My A/C went out and was pumping hot air in March 2023. I did not get around to taking it in for repair until April 5, 2023, but by that time Take 5 Oil had stopped servicing A/C for almost a half a year. I am aware that I cannot use the warranty on the labor but I do want the A/C unit replaced or reimbursed so I can get the work done at a shop that can guarantee its work and warranties. I contacted the Take 5 oil shop on April 5, and they called but said I had to contact HR. I tried to find a number or email to contact but to no avail. Now the website is down and I have no one to contact to fix my AC

      Complaint against Take 5 Oil Date of original transaction: 4/27/23 Amount paid: ******, receipt ***** Nature of dispute: ******* plug was not put back correctly after my oil change. It took some time, but first, there were leaks. I work from home, so this may have happened sooner, but the car doesn't usually go as far as the grocery store or gym. On 8/19/23 the plug fell out completely on Route 58 in *******, **. My car started making noises and smoking, so I pulled over. There was a puddle of oil under the car. I paid another $249.25 to tow my car to the dealership on 8/20/23. The engine is ruined and will need to be replaced.I called Take 5 customer service on 8/20/23, ticket ******. I was transferred to ****...I understand that people mentally switch to "autopilot" when they're on the phone, but I was not pleased at all with how she ended that call. The thoughtlessness of her "Have a good day" when I'm calling to report that my engine has been ruined made me very upset. When I reminded her of that, she flippantly said, "Have a bad day then." Was she not listening to anything that I previously said? That interaction added insult to injury. I am not at all happy with how I've been treated so far. I called again on 8/21/23 and still haven't gotten through. I also sent an email. Take 5 Oil has made no effort to reach out to me.

      I have been taking my 2018 Dodge Durango to take 5 for oil changes for a while and last month I took my truck for a regular scheduled oil change after the oil change there was a ticking noise took it home went inside for about a hour came back down to start my truck still a ticking noise. I took the truck back to take five the next day they look at the truck put more oil in the truck to stop the noise. This is when I stop driving the truck took it to mopar and they said it was foreign substances and the oil filter had not been changed in a while from the picture I have. To fix the problem on hand was going to be 14,000$ that I didnt have now I dont have my 2018 Durango the engine was blown. I need compensation for this inconvenience!!

      Brought my car to take 5 on 8/10 for an oil change and since then my car has had several problems. On 8/10 when I went to the ********* ** location the tech performed my oil change but did not turn off the maintenance light and rushed me to leave because of closing time.3 days later my ac stops working and my car starts to run hot. I want this problem resolved immediately. *** had to miss work due to this issue

      On 08/14/2023 I went to Take 5 for oil change and a oil change was completed by *********. I asked him and other worker **** who was present was my car fine after work was completed and he said my car was fine. Later that evening around 9:00 pm when i was parking my car at my boyfriend house my coolant over temperature light came on with engine light also on. I observed smoke coming from hood. I turned my car off. On 08/15 I started my car and attempted to drive to **** Dealership to have car checked out and my car started overheating and making weird noises. My car then became un/operable I pulled over to side of road brighton way(Easton) and contacted my insurance company (AllState) roadside assistance around 10:50 am. My insurance then contacted a towing company who towed my car around 2:30 pm. I contacted **** Dealership who then stated I could have my car dropped off there but they couldnt look at until 08/16. My car was towed to ******************* Dealership on 08/15.On 08/16 I notified my supervisor from job that I would be late due to not having transportation and having to rent car through Entetprise. I went to Enterprise rented a car and went to work. While at work I received a call from **** worker at **** Dealership that my coolant cap was off and that this could cause my car to overheat. They completed a diagnostic and replaced my coolant cap and replaced some coolant that was a gallon low.On 08/16 I contacted Take 5 and requested to speak to Manager and was placed on phone with a guy who identified himself as the Manager of Take 5. I explained to him the issue with coolant cap being left off after my oil change. The manager advised me he would call over to **** and See what they say review cameras and call me back. The manager from Take 5 calls me back within 1 hour and apologizes and stated I could come to Take 5 he would he there until 7 pm. And we could talk. I go to take 5 show him reciept and written issue of what **** observed. Manager became upset stated he would have to contact his Boss about what **** said about my car and coolant cap being off. I then requested a copy of my receipt and he refused 1st time to give me reciept asked me to leave store. I advised him i was going to record him refusing to give me reciept. I advised him i would go but i need receipt he then placed my receipt on ground cursed at me and became disrespectful and said get it I then took picture of receipt on ground and then exited the store.

Radiator cap and Coolant cap are 2 different things.  I have attached pictures and receipts from My reciept from Take 5 as well as the document reciept from ****. This happened due to the negligence of Manager (*********)that completed my oil change. My receipt from Take 5 states  that my oil change was complete and my coolant level was a (Safe Level) I am disputing that due to the diagnostic report given from ****. At no time did i mention or **** say anything about a radiator cap being off.  Please review attachments.
