      On 8/13/23 I had my car taken to be serviced for an oil change at Take 5 oil change . While changing the oil the tech spilled oil on the engine and even forgot to put the oil cap back on . When my car was attempted to be drove off my car jerked and hesitated to start . The car eventually started and made it to a light where it broke down and was able to be restarted . Went back to the shop ,the mechanics were informed of issue , refunded the transaction . After driving that car back home the car would not start or go any further , informed the shop and a tow truck was sent to take my car to their go-to mechanic. I was under the impression my car was being fixed but they ran diagnostic codes on the car and stayed with the codes that the car not working was inevitable. Although my car worked just fine up until after receiving an oil change . Store manager **** claims she watched the camera and all procedures were followed but refuses to provide footage and refuses to provide number of district Manger aside from only giving his first name . Store has never initiated a call to keep me updated on my car . I have to call continuously to get an answer . I have not been able to get in contact with shop to have my car towed back to my address or have my car repaired.

      We have sent the vehicle for an inspection. The findings by the mechanic are from expert auto care. Expert Auto Repair performed diagnostic on the vehicle and could not find any evidence that the issues the vehicle is experiencing are from the oil change. Expert Auto Repair stated
      Vehicle has multiple codes (15 on this engine alone)...codes include P0299 (turbo
      issues) to P0172 (fuel trim system rich). These codes along with other have failed since theyve been attempted to be cleared,
      according to the engine data the distance driven since the codes have been cleared is ****** miles.

      I went to get a oil change and I got the wrong oil in my car. Then my check engine light came on and my car still hasnt been fixed properly.

She has expressed that she regularly abuses the car for her ******* channel driving it  120+ MPH she also stated she was getting a second opinion and would be following back up with the district manager.

      I brought my car to Take 5 oil change on June 29. While getting my oil changed, one of the workers dropped my oil canister and broke it. He then drove around for over an hour checking many stores while I waited in my HOT car. Eventually he found a matching part at the local ****** dealership (I have a Lexus). After being there over an hour, the part was put in and I paid the full amount of $102.16. The guy told me I would get 50% off my next visit. On Friday August 11, I brought my car back to the same Take 5 because my engine and oil lights were on. When they checked my oil, they told me I had none. The guy who helped me this time was there the last time when my canister was broken. He told me I shouldn't need an oil change yet as it's only been a month and less than 2k miles. I reminded him of my last visit and he said he'd look at it. He discovered that the part they put on was missing a piece and my car would leak oil anytime it is running. I told him they need to fix it because they broke it. He told me his manager will be returning shortly and will take care of it. 15 minutes later, the manager drives in with his lunch in hand. The manager went to access my car then went to his office without acknowledging me. The associates returned to me and told me the manager said there was nothing they could do. He then suggested I drive my car to the Lexus dealership that is 40 miles away. I explained to him that driving a car that is leaking oil could damage the engine and more. He said he understands and said there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to the manager, but was told he was in a meeting. I paid $81.50 for the service (even though my car would lose all the oil). I since then have left their customer service 4 voicemails and 2 emails and have yet to get a call or reply from them. Unfortunately, it looks like I will have to escalate this.

      Each time I go to take 5 I always get charge a different price my last oil change was $47.50 on 6/30 including a $10 coupon I end up going to the same location ********************************************* ** 44117 8/11 they charging me for the $81.99 telling me the person who did my last oil put the wrong oil in my car so I ended up leaving going to another location ***************************************** ** 44118 8/12 and they told me the same thing the person who put the wrong oil in my car so I end paying for the $81.99 one but that being said I wont be coming back or getting any services from take 5 because putting the wrong oil in my car can cause damage to my car and all the workers I talked to act like it not a big deal not offering no kind of discount or anything so I dont recommend coming here its obviously all workers arent train the same or all arent educated the same

      Well I went in to get an oil change from take 5 in Minden ,La. I paid ***** and they didnt tell me the air for the tires was broke and they was out of transmission fluid till after I paid and received the paperwork. If I had known about what was broke and they was out of I would have went somewhere else. That call a rip off and I want my money bank as soon as possible cause you all is a bad company to say that I have reach out to you all by phone no answer and email no reply.       Went for an oil change on 8/5/2023 and end up with over $600 worth of damages on 8/ 8/2023 due to too much oil put in my car and they did not check the oil level inside the car nor no oil rest. On 8/7/2023 that evening in red turn engine off and check oil level came on in my driveway. So I just turned the car off I thought maybe because they did not reset my oil service on dashboard inside the car that it just did not register that the oil was changed. 8/8/2023 started the car for work and is started vibrating so hard and extremely thick white smoke was coming out both exhaust pipes as if the car was on fire. I turned it off immediately and tried to contact take 5 oil change. I kept getting the phone service and the left 3 messages from me and no one would call me back. Went up there and spoke with the manager named ******** that says she work at the one off ******* Road and that she needed to call her supervisor. She and they told her to have one of their technician come to my home due to the fact I could not drive my car!!! Technician came out within 20 minutes and the car didn't start so she jumped it and again heavy thick smoke and she yelled "Turn if off"!!!!! "It's definitely burning oil real bad" "Let me take some pictures and show he manager and they will be contacting you and you need to take your car to the shop immediately don't even try to drive it!" Looks like you may have blown or damage gasket or rings. AGAIN THAT NEVER HAPPEN NO Call!!! Of course I call a mechanic right after she left. Mechanic came about 2 hours later inspected and some damage was done to the car and he saw and smelled all that oil. He drained between 8 to 9 quarts out of my car. 8/9/2023 went back to Take 5 and spoke with ******** again and the whole crew said they say the pictures form their technician and show all of my pictures of the oil that was drained from my car 8 to 9 quarts, the color, the oil level on dashbord showed maxx and above the maxx line. That whole crew was in shocked and said the oil must have not been drained all the way. Again someone will call you by the name ***** or ***********************. Here we go again 8/10/2023 I went back up there and finally spoke with ***** and he told me that he terminated the female technician that came to my house and that she was messing up on the job. Then the circle jerk began I called on the phone and put it on speaker the mechanic that repaired my car so that he could hear what as going on then ***** started changing the story saying that person put in a two week notice. Then he pretty much called me a LAIR and stated that I put extra oil in my car myself and trying to make a claim! He claim that he has a video of them changing my oil and they did everything right nothing wrong the he seen, but he would not let me see this so call video. I HAVE EVEN READ THAT THE SAME THING THAT HAS HAPPEN TO ME HAS HAPPEN TO SOMEONE ELSE AND THEY REFUSE TO PAY FOR IT. CROOKS!!! GOD IS NOT SLEEP!!!!! It's on ya'll site everyone can't be lying on this company. I am out of $674.95 plus the cost of the oil change $49.31 that I had to bring my own oil and filter because the company did not have any. You can see from all the complaints from on your site that they are crooks and is not being held responsible for what there workers are doing to people cars and we are left paying for it. ***** kept giving me the run around refuse to give me the company information. He made the decision that my claim is deny on the spot because he thinks I tried to destroy my own car for money. I asked if I need to hire assistant to help resolve this matter than he kicked me out of the shop and became rude and sarcastic.       I am rejecting this response because:
      One Of Take 5 Oil Change own technician came to my home and seen for her self the damages and advise me to take it to the shop immediately and took pictures of the smoke and took it back to the acting manger at that time. This is so common with this company you guys don't take responsibility for your employees actions when they damage customers cars so you a every customer is lying about the damages to their cars. Too too many of us have experience the exact or similar problems with this company. I'm am still dealing with issues with my car as if today dealing with your company my oil sensor is damage . You guys just sit in the corporate office and automatically think everybody is lying and that your employees are doing a good job and that your managers are telling you guys the truth. Have you guys wonder why you have so many complaints about the same issues or similar from other people?  Have you guys even wondered why you have so many complaints?  Think about this, what if this happen to you and you went in for an oil change and your car was fine no issue then after an oil change damages ????. How would you feel!!!! I even went back up to ******** change and the other technicians at the location also stated they  saw the pictures from your guys technician that they must  have not drained all the oil out the car. But of course they're not going to want to speak up because they don't want to lose their job. Not only that your manager stated that they fired her the next day pretty much because she was telling clients the truth. All theses complaints against your company is telling the world who really is the liars and crooks. But if you guys can go to sleep at night knowing that y'all are mistreating people then you will have to deal with that.

      Hi, april 17th i went in as normal for a oil change. Rude employee seemed non attentive but i brushed it off to them probably just being busy. No pre-existing issues on my car. a few months later im driving and suddenly the car stops no gas no nothing. I check the oil in the car, none. i check under the car, theres a mass of oil. we had the car towed by to a nearby mechanic shop, and they told me that the drain plug on the bottom had been stripped and was causing oil to leak out of my car. I hadnt seen any sign to this. I needed to go in for an oil change soon. I have an appointment that following week. The person at the mechanic shop advised me to go to take five and talk to them about the possibility that they overtightened my cap, and stripped it out without telling me causing all this damage. I have $8000 worth of damage on my car from the shops employee negligence. after finding out about the damage to my car, I called the shop several times only to be hung up on. I filed a complaint with the corporate office only to get a call from the specific store manager telling me that they probably werent going to cover it and I should give up, he proceeded to go to the mechanic shop that my car is currently at and continue to distance himself from responsibility. He told me that hes new there, and that all the staff is new because all the previous employees were not there anymore because of issues like this. HE admitted to employee negligence on the phone with me. I simply dont see how an issue that is solely This companys fault Has to financially fall on me. Im a 19 year old college student who didnt expect to have her whole life turned upside down because of an incorrectly done $85 oil change that is now costing me probably upwards of 10 grand. The employees working that day couldnt even get my name, phone number or address, correct .

We will have the vehicle towed to Meineke to be diagnosed.The Vehicle has driven ***** miles since we serviced it in April and District manager  explained to the customer that until the diagnosis comes back, we wont know what the cause is.       I went in to get an oil change on my 2013 Inifiniti JX35 in June of 2023 and they changed my oil and said they checked my vital fluids and everything was great only thing they told me was that my windshield fluid container was cracked and that it wouldnt hold any fluids because it will leak out. I said that was fine. I took my car to Advance Auto because my truck was not performing properly with a check engine liking that came on two weeks after getting my oil change and they told me did they check all my vital fluids and I said yes. He said you are getting a transmission fluid error code and said I would have to check my fluids my fianc couldnt take the transmission clip off because it has a safety mechanism on it so we finally got it off after doing some research and come to find out my transmission fluid was extremely low. If they would had checked it they would had seen it was low and offered to refill at cost or at no cost but they didnt because they couldnt get it off. I called and spoke to the manager on duty who was the same gentleman who changed my oil on top not below and he said he couldnt get my transmission clip off he didnt disclose this information to me or I would had immediately took it to get check at the dealership or at a shop that specializes in transmission work. So now my truck is damaged because of the lack of their due diligence at the oil company.

      Part of the service provided at Take 5 Oil Change, we check and top off washer fluid, power steering fluid, and transmission fluid if it is accessible. Unfortunately, a 2013 Infinity has a dipstick that is considered non accessible, due to the fact that it is bolted shut. This is done by the manufacturer because of the specific fluid and procedure required to service this particular vehicle. For liability reasons we do not service or access dipsticks that are bolted down or that are not accessible.

      I am rejecting this response because: the worker did not advise me that they could not take the transmission dipstick off the dipstick is not bolted down where it is not accessible to the worker the lack of knowledge from the worker could of prevented this by noting in the accounting and verbiage to the customer to go have transmission fluids checked by dealership because they can not access it.  No communication was giving  he advised me all my vital fluids have been checked and I was good to go.  The transmission fluid is a vital fluid  is it not

      I got an oil change at a take 5 off ********** in ******************, ** on 7/29. On 8/3 I realized that they did not attach my skid plate back on (most of it was almost touching the ground. For this reason I went to a take 5 off *************** in **********, ** to get this skid plate properly attached (as it should have been at the prior one. I went to this one as it was closer to where I was at the time.The employee put up the hood of my car to attach the skid plate (why, I don't know). A severe thunderstorm began to blow in and as the hood was propped the hood was blown up higher than it is supposed to be, damaging both of the front quarter panels (and potentially the hood hinges, due to take 5's policies of requiring them to handle it first I've yet to get my car fully inspected). One employee ignored my calls for aid and another one was chasing down trash cans. I also was informed that my skid plate is missing many screws now and was reattached via zip ties (due to prior take 5's handling there). I discovered this damage on 8/5 and was told a District Manager would contact me on 8/7 and that "they" would cover the repairs. I was not contacted and the manager at the state bridge store is now refusing my calls. It is absolutely impossible to reach anyone higher than a SM via any avenue than this as far as I'm aware.

      March 11, 2023 I went to Take 5 for an oil change and paid $48.93 the manager at the time ************** did my service. A few days later on March 14, 2023 my car started smoking and I drove to the nearest muffler/car shop and they said my oil cap was loose and not screwed on completely and they also said oil was spitting all over my engine. The muffler shop didnt want to mess with my car to avoid any additional damage and I called take 5 to speak to **************, he then met me where I broke down at and just added more oil to my vehicle. I then had to pay a tow truck fee to get home and he assured me he would get it taken care of. Throughout all of this ************** kept in touch for about a week or so to see about paying for a tow truck and paying for the damages to my vehicle. He then took pictures of my vehicle to show to his boss so they could pay for the damages and he let me choose the location of the auto repair shop. Apparently the claim was denied and I ended up paying the tow truck fee and now have been stuck 4 months without my vehicle or any other form of transportation. The auto repair shop said the new engine would be $10,000 and that is how the claim got denied they said it was too much and Im now forced to come up with the money and pay out of pocket for something I didnt cause. And since then ************** has been fired.
