      I got an oil change on 12/20/22 at the Take 5 on ************. in ************. After I left, I noticed my van was running rough, then a few days went by and it only got worse. So, I brought it to a local garage, and they put a computer scanner on it and it came up with 2 codes (1 misfires,2 some sort of vacuum leak). So I let them give it a tune up which cost $504.69. But they didnt have a smoke machine to check for leaks, so I had to go to another garage and the test came back as passed so that was an additional $220.41.I was told that the air filter from Take 5 was installed by a trainee and put in backwards causing the misfires. So I spent 1 days going to garages, $725.01 for unnecessary work, $600.00 in lost wages and $60.00 for Uber expenses. Plus $150.00 for the oil change and filter.Total amount of my cost = $1,535.01 I never got a call/text or email from anyone at Take 5. So I went back on Feb 7th to speak to the manager and found out he was fired. There was a young lady now taking over. I told her my problem along with a new problem (my oil symbol goes on and off periodically.) She promised me that I would get a call from the district manager by the days end, that didnt happen! I went back on Feb 9th, only to find a new person who was the acting manager, I told him my problem, and told him if I didnt get a call by weeks end I was going to put in a complaint to **** of ******** Protection and the BBB. I got a call from the regional manager 10 minutes later, and he just said you wanted me to call you? I told him I need to know whats going on with my claim. He said he knows the claim was sent in and we just have to wait for corporate headquarters to reply. I asked to have someone from headquarters call me and let me know something, he said that wont happen! I really dont know whether the claim was ever placed or not. Its just one story after another. I still dont know why my oil light comes on, Ill probably wind up with a ceased engine next.

      I went into Take 5 Oil change on 02/09/2022 for a top off service. In between your oil changes they offer this, after finishing my service I pulled off. Days later my car just stalled at a light and I had to have a police ****** me to help push my car to a safe location. Upon getting the car situated we notice oil was leaking out fast. My oil drain plug wasnt securely out back in causing my car engine to seize up. I feel like the technicians are to blame for my car not running anymore. *** reached out to the business but they was not a manager in on Sunday 02/11/2023

      hello my name is ***************************** my phone number is ************ take 5 oil change. at ********************************************************************** I have been trying to contact you all for days I let messages and my phone number.in June or July, I had my oil change it was now time for me to get my changed again so I took my car to have my oil change. when they were trying to change my oil, they noticed they couldn't because they had stripped my oil s**** so, they could not take it off so the manager ************************* told me to take my car to ************* 5 star automotive. so, I call them so they can fix my car. every time I call them to make appointment. they were either busy or told me to call back one time they told me they were going on vacation call back next week. finally, they made me an appointment. on 01/14/2023 to fix my car so **** started fixing on my car and he took it apart he said he call around looking for an oil pan but no one had one he said they do not know when they are getting some in he said the oil pan will cost ****** dollars but no one have right now he said so at this time he have already took it apart and he said he call the manager ************************* and told his what was going on with my car he said ***************************** said he was not going to pay for that. this is the only car we have go to work in now so he said he can do a quick fix for me to get my car back on the road it will cost me. $322.37 for him to fix it so i had to get my car back so I pay it. at that time, I had a rent car that cost me $330.00 they broke my oil pan, so they are responsible for getting my car fix I am look forward hearing from you. you can call ******** and son 5 star automotive. his number is ************ he can explain the problem better than I can.the invoice number is #****** for my car.PS thank you

      October 2022-Went in for an oil change for my 2017 cheverlot Silverado. Paid 120. A week later truck stop working. Brought it to several mechanics and was told wrong oil was placed in truck. Went to take 5 so they can fix my truck. They claim they had to do an investigation. Its been three months and no one has called me. I went down to see what was going on and was told to contact corporate. Corporate has no contact number.

      Basically i got an oil change from take 5 oil change in ************,** ********************************************************************************************************* after my oil change a month later my oil was in my ************* oil was all gone before it was time for another oil change i took it to a mechanic and he said they tightened my oil filter to tight and my oil filter exploded & all my oil travel to my coolant which my car have a blown head gasket. I got it repaired and have a receipt of my repairs And also the receipt of the oil change at 5 take oil change. I just want a my money back for the simple mistake my car was working perfectly fine before i got the oil change.

      I Received an oil change from Take 5 oil change ************************************************************* On 9/6/22, on 9/21/22 my car engine light came on and car started shaking on the highway to work. After work on 9/22/22 i brought my car to mechanic who stated my car was over filled with oil by an extra 2 quarts, causing car to shake and engine light to appear. On 9/22/22 i brought my car to get the problem fixed and it was in fact overfilled. They changed the oil but never gave me a paper to state what was done to fix the problem, because i wasn't charged i never thought to get a receipt , as i thought they had fixed the problem. I was told to drive the car for a long distance as it needed to run for a couple of miles. I travel out the country and returned january 2023. Car was brought into mechanic on 1/31/23 and was informed my engine was damaged, so to return car to Take 5 when anassociate and manager informed me they could not do anything as i had passed the 30 day guarentee time for damages. I now can not pass my inspection because of this problem and my car has to have its motor replaced. Manager did not feel it was there fault and getting in contact with coporate is just a **** headache. I should not be responsible to pay for a car that had no issues what so ever for 5+ years and then all of a sudden needs a new motor. Take 5 never put in their system they did the second oil change i wasnt charged for. So now its there word against mine. Very unprofessional and not fair what so ever. This damage will cost me $4000+ to fix. I cant sell it because i wont get its real value because of this issue. Someone needs to contact me as i will be missing wages from work not being able to drive to work and with no tags will have to rent a car to go to work until the issue is fixed. Please help me find a solution, for a problem i did not cause. ************************* ********** *******************

      I took my vehicle in for a routine oil change on 1/27/23. After my wife drove the car, the engine started making loud noises and then locked up on the highway in a bad part of town. After being towed, the mechanic shop determined that the engine is no longer safe to use.I spoke with the store manager at my location and he's tried to be helpful, however it seems that he's not able to make any decisions on his own and needs approval for even the smallest of concerns, but has refused to get me in contact with anyone higher than him. I have left multiple voicemails on the corporate phone number to no avail.I have been told on the phone that all expenses will be covered, however I will still need to pay for everything up front and will be reimbursed later, which is not ok. I also requested that this be put in writing that everything will be paid for, and was told that it could not be provided and that I would need to contact corporate which can't be contacted.I've been out of work for multiple days now due to no vehicle, my vehicle that I purchased less than a year ago is no longer running, I haven't been provided a rental car, and the urgency amongst Take 5 members is nonexistent. While they take their sweet time, the consumer (me) is the one left suffering from this business.

      On August 5th, 2022, I took my vehicle to the Take5 Oil Change location on ***************** in ***********, ***** for repairs. In total, I was charged $1,778.00 to replace all four brake pads and to repair the air conditioning system before it went out. The vehicle was ready for pick up the same day however, five days later, on August 10, 2022 my air conditioning ceased to work altogether and I had to return to the shop. The technician informed me that a faulty part had accidentally been put in the vehicle, but he was able to replace and repair it. On August 17th, 2022, I visited the location again because my vehicle was not functioning properly. The technicians decided that the battery needed replacing, and I was charged $275.00 for a new one. A few weeks later, I noticed a loud screeching noise coming from my brakes and was informed by a different mechanic that it was due to an issue with the brake pads placed by Take5. Then on December 19, 2022, I returned to your location because the battery I had purchased from your shop with a warranty was no longer functioning. Upon arriving at Take5 Oil Change, the mechanics informed me that Take5 no longer does automotive care and they were unable to help me at all. I then went to the AutoZone next door where the store attendant expressed confusion as to why such an old battery that is no longer manufactured had been put in my vehicle so recently. The battery had to be replaced altogether, but I held onto the battery that Take5 put in my vehicle. Now, as of January 2, 2022 the same previous air conditioning issues that I was led to believe were resolved have returned due to the same faulty part, leaving my car without air conditioning again. During this whole situation, I have consistently reached out to both corporate and the ***************** location for months to no avail. The customer service line goes straight to voicemail, the shop manager refuses to help me, and the district manager has ignored all emails.

      Were suing Take 5 Oil Change for putting the incorrect oil type into my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee on January 11, 2023 at **********************************************************************. On January 13, 2023, their negligence caused my check engine light to come on. I was in ********, ****. Their mistake forced me to stay in a hotel, pay someone to drive me around looking for a mechanic, get a rental car and I had to have my car towed back to *****, ****. My mechanic conducted a diagnostic and the codes read; INCORRECT OIL TYPE. I had to have another oil change to put in the correct oil type. I am suing Take 5 OIL for the following damages.Hotel $197.76, RIDE $25.00, Rental $226.80, TOW $156.00, Diagnostic $149.99, Oil Change$ ****** DAMAGES: $868.75 plus, court cost and $2,131.25 in punitive damages totaling $3000.00

      I took my Car in for an oil change 12/7/22. The next day all my transmission fluid leaked out. It ended up ruining my transmission on a Lexus GX460. Take 5 oil refuses to return my calls or have a district manager call me. I had to have my car towed to ******************* 12/9/22 and it is still there. No transmission is available through Lexus for another 8 weeks; therefore, I will be without a car for 3 months. I went to the Take 5 ********** today on ********** in ***** **. I asked ***** for the district managers phone number. ***** took my phone number and said the district manager was busy and would have to call me. I have already been waiting on a call back for 3 weeks. I said fine. I will just take a seat and wait for him to call me. ***** at Take 5 Oil said if I didnt leave he would call the police.I said fine I will wait outside in my borrowed car. I called the police on them to come help me. The dispatcher said a policeman would come and get the number for me. The policeman did call me but would not to Take 5 saying it is a civil matter. The parts and labor for a new transmission on my Lexus are $8500. To rent a car similar to mine is $2300/month at ******* 3 months no car because some guy at Take 5 Oil loosened my transmission plug thinking it was the oil. The employee never retightened my transmission thus ruining my entire transmission. They will not return my calls and will not take responsibility!!! My car only has ****** miles on it. I went for a simple oil change. NEVER GO TO A TAKE 5 OIL CHANGE!!!!!!! They do not take ownership of their errors.
