      I have been a loyal customer of Bank of America for over 44 years, but my recent experience has left me questioning whether this institution truly cares about its customers. I was the victim of a sophisticated scam that transferred $9,000 to Wells Fargo Bank. I don't have an account with Wells Fargo and Bank of America has done little to assist me in recovering my funds or addressing the systemic issues that allowed this to happen.Whats most disturbing is that the police department told me that they are losing so much money, they are blaming the victims because they answered a phone call with a caller ID of BofA,l. When I called the number back, it was in fact a BofA number! It was a moment that made me question whether this company is staffed by individuals who genuinely care about their customers or if they are indifferent to the suffering caused by their own security failures. This experience has been emotionally and financially devastating, yet Bank of America has refused to take responsibility for their inadequate fraud protection measures. Large transactions went unflagged, and there was no warning about ongoing scams targeting their customers. Instead of offering meaningful support, theyve left me to deal with the fallout on my own. It is scary to think that someone on the inside of BofA could be doing this, and the corporation isn't investigating it further. Does it bring you satisfaction to see your customers struggling during difficult times? Because thats exactly how it feels when your representatives respond to serious issues with smug indifference. Bank of America needs to do better, not just for me but for all their customers who trust them with their hard-earned money. Until they take accountability and implement better fraud prevention measures, I cannot recommend this bank to anyone.

      I made a credit card payment on December 21, 2024. It cleared on 12/23/24. Who ever processed my check entered the wrong account number. They put my money in some elses account. I called 1/17/25 because it did not post on my account. They said it will take 2 months to put the funds in my account. Well its April 2, 2025 I still have not received my funds to my account. I have called they said they would and process it. They have not . No one is taking responsibility for there wrong doing. They are not correcting there error. I have my check copy with the wrong account number its been sent to them from a **********************. The lady helping me sent so many times, they still did not correct there error. Calling is ridiculous cause no one seems to know what there are doing.

      *** took $4700 from my checking account w/out my permission. I authorized a payment on 3/28/2025 for $4700. On 3/31, they took a 2nd payment of $4700 w/out my authorization. After spending 47 minutes on hold, ********, the manager, admitted the payment was taken in error and informed me it may take 10 days to get the money back. Her employee number is 8FCX2, as they dont give last names. To all those reading this, ask yourself, can i wait 10 days to get $4700 back taken in error on the banks part? If you can, continue doing business w this 2 trillion in asset company, and disregard this post. If this would cause a hardship, consider another lender. *** is too big and obviously not concerned with the financial wellbeing of their customers.

      I set up auto-pay for my credit card. It worked. One month **** didn't get a payment. My bank account had plenty of funds. **** didn't contact me about the problem. They charged me fees and interest over 2 months. I called, which was a big pain. They didn't understand the problem. ****.

      Bank of America closed both of my credit card accounts without any proper notificationjust an email, which many people dont check regularly. They should have at least called, texted, or left a voicemail. On top of that, their apps payment system is unreliable, making it easy to miss payments. Extremely disappointed with their customer service and communication!

      I have been with Bank of America for at least 27 years according to one of their customer service representatives. Numerous situations became a factor for accruing approximately 4k in credit card debt. When I called them to find a solution for bringing my CC debt down to 0%APR, which is in line with what other companies offer, their solution was taking out equity on a home. Once I rejected that offer,they came back with lowering the APR. That's unacceptable to me. As a result, Bank of America will be losing all of my banking needs forever.

      Awful. I had been a customer for thirty nine years. They sent a statement (on an account that I thought had a zero balance) to an old email. I had opted for paperless. The email kept bouncing back to them. They never bothered using the backup email on record. Instead they reported my account sixty day late. My credit score dropped seventy five points. This was for a balance of nineteen dollars. After being on hold for more than thirty minutes twice, I finally got a person in **. When I asked why I never received a letter, call or email to the working email, I was told they have too many customers to do that. I am working with both credit bureaus who assured me - this is ridiculous. My credit score has always been impeccable.

      If *** really cared about it's customers it shouldn't take over 30 minutes to reach customer service rep. **** been with BOA 35 years but don't qualify for free checks as a senior citizen. BOA'S leaves a lot too be desired.

      I waited for a minimum of 30 minutes. Other times I've had to wait longer. Again if *** was so concerned about it's customers the wait should not have them wait so long.
