I paid my credit card balance in full on March 25, 2025. Then Bank of America sends me a statement assessing an interest charge of $59.35 on April 8, 2025. I do not understand how a financial institution can charge interest on an account whose balance is zero. When I called their customer service line to address the issue, all I received was a convoluted explanation attempting to justify this charge. I talked to a representative and a supervisor and they both refused to help me. All I asked was for them to admit an obvious oversight and to remove the charge. They refused and I decided to close my account. I would like a simple resolution to this matter. I am also planning to bring this matter to the attention of the *********************************************.Bank of America

I see that all Bank of America does on this website is send an "auto-reply". This is a bank that does not care about it's customers.A month ago I went into the local **** with ALL the documentation I needed to close my late father's accounts. I am the beneficiary. At that time they told me everything was in order and I would receive a check in the mail in about 2 weeks.When the 2 weeks passed without a check, I contacted our online representative assigned to the Case. She informed me that the check was going out that day (Monday) and she would email me a *** tracking number when it did. Never received an email, never received a tracking number.The next Monday I contacted **** again, via phone. Spoke with the same agent who informed me that there was some issue on the part of BofA, but she assured me the check would go out. That once again did not happen!It has now been a month with no check. When I called today she said that they were reviewing some paperwork. What?!#* This is some BS for sure. I would NEVER bank with ****. As a matter of fact, I'm going to stop using our BofA credit card.When dealing with estates, it's already a sad stressful situation losing a loved one. Then having to deal with a bank, that makes you feel like you're trying to rip someone off. It's unacceptable. ********** ever.Bank of America

Bank of America is a corrupt corporation that doesn't care about their customers! I tried to pay my balance online, it didn't look like it went through, tried again, same thing. Called and talked to a person, he took my payment over the phone, but before doing it, I asked if there was a possibility that it would go through 3 times. He said no. The next morning I looked at my account, they took 3 payment out of my checking account and there was over an $18,000 surplus on my card, but my bank had a negative $2000 plus deficit. I called immediately to get my money back. They said it would take ***** days. That is criminal. I talked to ************, they said it should only take 2 days and that they should have flagged it immediately when there was a double payment. I talked to someone in the ********************************. They agreed that you should be able to give my money back in two days and pay interest on the money. I have called twice now and with the situation being escalated, they will review it by Weds, which is over a week later. I can't pay any of my bills and the supervisor's response was just put them all on the card. There are things like tuition and insurance that are auto drafted and they are going to bounce. It's time to pay taxes and I don't have money for the ***, because they wiped all the money out of my bank account and are trying to hold on to it for as long as they possibly can. They can take the money in just a few minutes, but it takes a month to put it back?! They are crooks!Bank of America

THE ONLY REASON IT HAS ONE STAR IS BECAUSE I HAD TO SELECT ONE. BANK OF AMERICA TRULY GETS NO STARS FROM ME...WORST BANK EVER. THEY ARE AWFUL.I have been a loyal customer of ********************** for over 20 years and received an email today letting me know that due to the financial climate my credit card account was being closed. It wasn't closed because of non-payment, late payments or any other issues. just closing the account because *** feels like it. Obviously, *** knows that closing an account will effect credit score, so just wanted to shout out and say thanks BOA. you are a real d***!!!!!!! I will be closing every account i have with you and making sure none of my friends, family, co-workers, or acquaintances utilize your banks. I will be sure to let everyone know exactly what a horrible institution you truly are.i sincerely hope you have to close your doors for all the horrible dis-satisfied customers.Bank of America

Had a credit card on auto pay for years. Randomly wake up to my credit score 70 points lower. Find out my card randomly got off of autopay with zero notice. Called to fix issue - they stated that they cant control auto pay. Tell me that they will set it up on their end. Speak with a manage and she stated that it was not on auto pay even though I was just told it was. So if I would not have spoken to a manager, it would have lapsed again. **** customer service. Destroyed my credit over a 35 dollar minimum payment. Have never once missed payments with them the entire time I had a card open. Offered zero help. Basically just said oh well better luck moving forward. Have never been more disgusted with a company or its customer service in my life.Bank of America

Its been an almost 12 month since I am working with the bank in regards of $730.00 dispute. My Amex card transfer this amount by mistake as a credit and even I received the money back in August 2024 Bank of America is sending me letters telling me that theyre trying to resolve the issue. I file a dispute every month and at one point Bank of America were pulling that amount from my checking accounts without my knowledge. Yesterday I spend another two hours on the phone explaining in details to two customers service representatives, one manager and one more team specialist what happened. The problem is they have $730.00 on my credit card account as a part of my spending bill. I am seeking $10.000.00 as a compensation for the trouble and emotional distress from Bank of America for filling at list one dispute every single month, for making phone calls at list twice a week, for receiving a check of $730.00 in July and only going to their branch and find out its been cancelled. As well as cancelling two more checks that I never received in the same month. For stress and aggravation working to make it go away. For asking me to making a minimum payments while they were working on many disputes and confusion.Even today I suppose to make this minimum payment but I am refusing. I file disputes with all credit bureaus and consumer protection agency as well. I learned a lot through this journey. They told me they will resolve it by next week Tuesday April 8.Bank of America

********** ever. Period. Worse customer service. The one in my town opens at 10 am and just today I tried to go to the lobby and the sign says lobby closes at 4pm. Went to the drive thru and they were closed too.Bank of America

This was by phone,I tried to use the service in Spanish and I didn't get any assistance so I had to speak in English, the representative (a young woman) was pretending not understanding my English, I had to repeat a lot of times the same information because she was playing dumb. After a while she said "is hard to understand what YOU PEOPLE are saying" like TF?! I didn't make fun of her because she just speak one language and is unable to understand accents, I can understand foreigners with bad Spanish because my level in that language is perfect.Bank of America

Hello, reaching out to see if someone can help me. My employer sent me an *** on 03/05/2025 to the wrong account. My job put in a request to have the funds returned and were denied after trying twice. My job was told we could not make another request due to insufficient funds in the wrong account ********************** made a mistake by hard posting the *** to the wrong account. I have spent over a week to correct these mistakes. I have been told there is nothing Bank of America can do to correct this. I have not been able to pay my rent. I am on a fix income and really need my funds. Yes, over twelve times and, also visited a branch in person. The bank the branch manager tried to fix it and was denied. When my job requested the funds back due to *** error. Bank of America move the funds back to my employers bank on a pending status and then took the funds back and my job was told they cannot request the funds back again. The Bank of America manager told me that they have never seen this situation before and that the back made a mistake. She called and spoke to the *** department, and they told us there is nothing they can do to correct the mistake. Bank of America Relationship Banker filed a formal complaint within Bank of America and I'm trying to get an update and copy of the complaint. Please let me know if you or anyone will help. I now must go to court on 04/14/2025 to fight being evicted. Thanks!Bank of America
