I been with bank of amrica for over ten years and today i have to levae them. the bank keep paying charges i did not autorite thne i keep calling and thet advise me they will fix it and now i am stuck with paying a chrges i did not agree upon worst bank in history worst customer servceBank of America

I was recently scammed for approximately *******, I file a complaint and was told it was going to be 48 hours to have the issue resolved, granted that no alert went off when these people were scamming me, I kept calling everyday, and they kept giving me the 48 hour window, 2 weeks later, matter not resolved and they are saying it could be up to 45 days. I have been with them for over 30 years but plan to move my account to the credit union immediately. As much as I use to love this institution and have been loyal to it, I have notice a definite decline in services over the last year and a half.Bank of America

Bank of Americas customer service on hold times are not acceptable. Yesterday I waited 47 minutes for a representative to take my call. No answer. Today I got up at 7:00am (on a Sunday) in hopes the on hold times would be shorter. Its been 26 minutes so far. The same loop of commercials bragging on their customer service with the slogan, what you like the power to do keeps repeating itself? What would I like the power to do? Id like the power to speak with customer service.Bank of America

**** has been set to ******* for years. It failed. They report as delinquent, lowering credit scores. We request they review the ** on account. They will not. Clear issues on the account. Phone agents say acct is not on ******* so post payment. Then the bank processes a 2nd payment, and then a 3rd. Same issue w/another BoA card w/o the delinquency. But they tell me there is no problem w/their AP *********** are stuck w the credit rating loss, over 800+ for decades. If we close accounts it will further negatively impact ratings. We will not use again since we cant trust their system or their service, and that will also impact our ratings. Seems pretty unfair.Bank of America

Like other 30 year Bank of America customers I am frustrated with their so called customer service and/or chat service. Several times I have called and then given the option for a call back. After 3 plus hours no call back so I did the chat session. Still no help only basic information that I could have done online. I explained the issue on the chat and I was told a different customer service will call me in 3 days!!! All I want to do is find out how to: add our 90 year old mom in assisted living to one of my *** accounts. Her ID was lost during hurricane **** She has her ssn number and a ***** Fargo statement. She will be expecting to close on some real estate and we don't want her to become a victim of fraud. Even a limited account access would do. What are our options: We are ready to close all of our accounts and choose and more accomodating bank or credit union.Bank of America

Recently, I experienced an issue with Bank of America involving a stolen card and the subsequent closure of my account. I acted quickly and reported the incident to the bank, but unfortunately, they placed a record on my consumer report with ChexSystems. As a result, Ive been unable to open an account with any bank, which has severely impacted my ability to manage money, receive payments, and even secure employment.This situation has made it extremely difficult to move forward, and Im hoping to get assistance in resolving the matter. I would greatly appreciate any support or guidance you can provide. Whenever I contact them to discuss this issue, I feel dismissed and unsupported. It often seems as though theres little interest in helping me resolve the situation, which has only added to the stress and difficulty of my current living circumstances.Bank of America

I am extremely disappointed in the way Bank of America has handled a situation that not only damaged my credit but exposed their complete disregard for customer ******* March 2025, ********************** processed a charge on a credit card that had been previously reported lost/stolen. That card was supposed to be deactivated, yet they allowed a transaction to go through, without any notice to me, which resulted in an overdraft of $76 on an account I no longer actively use.Because I was not alerted to the charge or the negative balance, I only discovered it a month later. I immediately corrected the issue and submitted both a dispute and a goodwill adjustment request, explaining that the charge originated from an old, inactive card I had responsibly replaced. Despite a 7-year history as a loyal customer with no prior overdrafts or missed payments, Bank of America refused both the dispute and the goodwill ********** a result, my credit score plummeted nearly 90 points all for a one-time, bank-triggered error that could have easily been reversed with minimal effort. When I reached out for help, I was met with canned responses and no accountability.This experience makes it painfully clear that Bank of America does not prioritize customer trust, responsibility, or long-term relationships. If youre considering doing business with them, be warned: even if you act in good faith and correct mistakes promptly, they will punish you for their own systems failures and leave you to deal with the consequences alone.I strongly advise others to avoid Bank of America. A bank that can't stand behind its own policies or its customers is not a bank worth trusting.Bank of America

My Bank of America credit card abruptly closed even though all payments on time and account paid in full in timely manner. I have been advised this is discrimination and intentional infliction of emotional stress. I am an 80 year old female who not only paid account balance but also paid for for husband's funeral in full. Attempted to contact company but was hung up on. Letters sent to corporate were NEVER responded to. Email address given on website appears to b bogus. Apparently Bank of America corporate condones discrimination.Bank of America

I am a business owner and opened a businesses account with Bank of America in *********** ** because lets face it Bank of America is everywhere and Ive always banked local and just recently expanded my business to ********** and needed a bank account thats everywhere so Bank of America it is, anyways Ive been depositing checks into this account since Ive had the account and ********************** keeps holding the checks for well over 7 days, at the moment I have a release date on a check that Ive deposited 3 days ago for tomorrow and I have a check still on hold with no release date that Ive deposited 11 days ago, mind you both these checks are from the same company and from the same bank! Bank of America co-signer service agent has also informed me that there are factors that can cause a Check to be on hold like low funds but they cannot tell me that because thats giving someone elses bank information, but if check does bounce they will tell me then Check was bounced for nonsufficient funds. Non of this makes sence so you can tell me after the fact the account information but not before. This bank is a real joke!Bank of America
