      I have been a customer for over 27 years but apparently thats not enough for them to do the right thing.I put almost a thousand dollars in cash to deposit in the **** Something I have done many times before with little hassle.This time the machine took my money but I was informed the transaction could not be completed and they could not return my cash.I filed a claim immediately and I was told I would receive credit for the money within 2 days but probably sooner. They suggested I call again to have the case expedited but 2 days in and the money is still missing.The customer service people were fine but how does a bank make me suffer for their mistake?I had to borrow money to cover my bills and if I have to wait even longer for my CASH to be deposited to my account Ill have to borrow more or risk having to deal with unpaid debit because of Bank Of America not doing the right thing and putting all of my CASH in my account now.Obviously, Ill never receive any compensation for the anxiety this is causing ****** difficult is it to push a key and make my money show up in my account?Surely someone has taken the cash I deposited out of the *** by now so wheres my money?!?Huge bank that surely is worth trillions yet they cant put my lousy $990 in cash into my account while they fix their broken machines?

      Have you tried moving your *** funds out Merrill? Its a new form of h*** ************ is shady! Ive been a customer for 21 years with a range of products (****, **** investment accounts, 529, savings, credit cards). I wanted to transfer my **** *** to another **** *** account at another company. Merrill makes you jump through hoops. Beyond a certain amount they require a Medallion Signature - easy peasy right? Since I bank with them and my accounts are with them and Im transferring money from an account there to another account I should easily be able to get a Medallion Signature from Merrill/ BofA. Nope! They cant do Medallion. This is the message I received:Unfortunately, your request for case number Xxxxxx was declined for the following reason:CASE CANCEL: OUTGOING MERRILL EDGE REQUEST The Medallion team cannot stamp for incoming/outgoing Merrill Edge transfers. This case is canceled.I get a call from Merrill that I should find another bank that I bank with to get a medallion signature. Huh?!? arent you my bank? You want me to go elsewhere?If you want to rollover your 401k dont make the mistake of using Merrill/ BofA. They hold your own money hostage. They make it as difficult as possible to to do anything with your own money. Endless trips to the banking centers with under qualified financial advisors trying to fleece you with excuse of verifying you. No digital communication - so they can delay things as much as possible. Phone calls and snail mail letters to inform you if their refusal of why they are not able to help you. If youre looking for a financial institution that works in the 21st century than this greedy dishonest institution is not your best fit.

      Please reconsider putting your money in to Bank of America account!!!!I reported fraudulent activity on my checking accounts with **********************. I did not receive any email or text notifications regarding alerting me that large amount of my money was withdrawn from my two accounts. My account settings are set to receive notifications, and I am worried that this lack of communication from Bank of America part may have contributed to the fraudulent activity. Do not bank with Bank of America. Your money is not safe!!!A total of $72,600.00 was withdrawn from my two accounts on 1/9/2025&1/10/2025. The fraudulent activities were reported to the ******************** and *** branch at the Pasadena branch right away and claim numbers were issued. We are still waiting for the remaining stolen money to be credited to our account. I requested a thorough investigation into this matter and immediate action to return the funds to my account. I am still waiting for my money to be credited back to my account. I am deeply concerned that *** did not protect my money and failed to notify us of the fraudulent activity that occurred, or to freeze our account to keep my money ******* not bank with Bank of America. Your money is not safe!!!

      When you call to speak to a person about you account virtual assistant will hang up on you if you dont speak exactly how they want you to. Cant just ask for a representative. Have to take forever to listen to every prompt. Ask their policy hold holding your payment hostage for 10 days instead of giving you your available credit to your account when payment is received is hella predatory. And extremely anti-consumer. If youve received my money give me my available credit.

      Even if you lost *****, ***'t go down without a fight.       I was given a rented car whos front bumper was held on with a few ***** old sheetroc screws. The car was parked nose in to a fence, I didn't notice. The documentation is many pages and is so clear I was in the right. Even Budget knows I am in the right, they refunded the $148 claim that was directly through hem. This proves that they know I'm in the right. I asked Budget Rent a car why they didn't tell me this before they gave me the car. The reason is because if they made me aware of this I wouldn't have rented the car. The reason I use a credit card is to protect myself in case something goes wrong with a purchase. The Bank of America is 100% clearly wrong here. Even Budget Rent a Car knows I'm right. I will not leave this. I will not give the Bank of America any business ever again. I will be certain to post this wherever I can.

      Youre not being honest in the least. I have a credit card through you. I use it because youre supposed to protect me if anything nefarious happens. It did, and you couldnt care less. You did absolutely nothing to try to help me. I am finalizing my business with you and will no longer use your services.. Ive always heard that I should use a credit card from a reputable bank. I thought that was Bank of America. I am a customer of yours for over 2 decades. Its a shame that I find this out this way..

      I am a small business and recently wired $122,000 to a conference for a sponsorship to a well known global event. For some reason the wire was flagged by Bank of America's partner bank in ****** and the funds were never sent to the global event for the sponsorship. Not only did the conference not get the funds but now the bank can't get their London bank partner to respond to let them know where the wire is. For FOUR WEEKS, i have been left on hold to only be hung up on or when I do speak to someone no one can give me an answer on where the money is and when I will get the funds back. I requested the wire be sent back to our account because I had to put the sponsorship on a different card due to it taking so long to get an answer on the original wire. As a small business, it has been a nightmare and the bank doesn't seem to have any urgency about getting the funds back. If you are a small business I would definitely not work with them after this experience.

      Went to set up a new account with ********************** and everything was good to go, they told me I was approved and had my new debit card sent on the way. Fast forward one week and I receive my card in the mail and go to activate it but I cant log in to my account. So Im on hold with customer service for 30 minutes to be told that my account had been closed and the money I had deposited that was required to open the account would be sent back in a cashiers check. The reason they closed my account was due verification reasons, they didnt elaborate. You would think a business would try to reach out and verify or at the very least let their customers know they are closing the account before the customer has to call and find out that way. Poor business will never do business with them again or recommend them to anyone.
