I can certainly cancel your membership for you, but unfortunately, I am unable to process a refund as you have been using the service. Per our terms and conditions, we do not process refunds for months with usage. Last use was on 1/17/2024.
Your Monthly Unlimited Membership 73494+052469 has been deactivated and your credit card will no longer be charged for renewal, however, you can still use your pass through the close of business on 2/15/2024. I was at the car wash on 1/6/24. The credit card kiosk outside kept declining my debit card. The attendant came out and kept running it through. It still declined. She said this happens all the time. She took my card inside and charged the $16.00 for the car wash. I look at my bank account and my bank card was charged $16.00 / 5 times.I have reached out via phone and email with no response. On 7/24/2023, I went through the Take 5 Car Wash on ************ in ********, *********. One of the rotating brushes hyperextended the rear wiper arm and broke it. I have contact the business in excess of 19 times to ascertain the status of my incident report. I filed a complaint with BBB in 11/2023 to which the company did not respond so the complaint was closed.As of this date, 1/12/2024, I have yet to hear from the company, location manager, regional manager regarding my claim. I feel this is extremely poor customer service and business practices. I am seeking to be reimbursed for the replacement of the rear wiper arm. All paperwork was filed, and was reassured by the location manager that nothing else is needed as of my meeting with the location manager on 12/7/2023 Attached is a copy of the contact I have had with various Take 5 Car Wash representatives and my communication to them.Customer Answer

On January 4, **** I took my vehicle to Take 5 Car (store number 188) in **************. While going through the car wash my mirror on passenger side of the vehicle was torn off the by the rotating bushes. We immediately went into the managers office to file a report which she (*********************) took our information. She instructed us (my husband and myself) that she would file the damage claim and we should here from their claims people in ***** hours. We obtained a number for the claims department *************). Today is January 11, **** and have not heard from anyone about the damage. We obtained an estimate for the repair which is $972.85. We have called the 800 number 5 times and they say a claim has not been submitted. We have also returned to the location 3 times and spoke with ******* who said the claim has been filed. We are getting a run around and need a claim to be filed by them and start the process of repairing my vehicle.Business Response

I have(had) signed up for a monthly recurring charge of $46.99 for unlimited car washes. On 12-5-23 they took out the amount charged to my ***** That **** was cancelled due to fraudulant charges. I provided the business my new card numbers and a second charge was made of $46.99 on 12-15-23. No one can be reached by phone and I have made a minimum of 4 trips to ************** office where I'm told no one has the authority to refund the overcharge but can't put me in contact with anyone who can. * License Plate Number (If no sticker and the Car Wash uses license plate readers)
* What is the full Pass ID number located on the **** sticker that was placed in your windshield? This number may or may not include a plus (+) sign. You can also take a photo and attach it to this email.
* Do you have your membership through the Take 5 Car Wash App?

My wife and I had separate accounts at the car wash until the 1st of September 2023 when we went to the family plan that cost us $59.99 per month for both cars. The car wash then charged us $39.99 at the end of Sept, October, Novemberand December. They also charged us$59.99 at the beginning of Sept, October, November and December.I made a complaint each time they charged ** $39.99 to the Manager *************************** . He promised each time to get us a refund. Nothing happened.I have made email attempts, phone attempts, text complaints and ********************* phone but cannot contact anyone. I pulled up their webpage and filled out a complaint but it will not send. I need to let you know so no one else will fall for this scam business. I used the carwash ONCE in November of 2022 and DID NOT purchase a membership. They charged me for a membership for 12 months without my permission! I had to cancel my credit card to stop them because you cannot get in touch with a live person. And there is no office to consult with either. This was in ******** **. It took months to get in touch with someone thru email. Finally someone contacted me thru text and email. They asked for alot of info and I complied with everything they needed. They admit they did it but won't give me a refund! This is unbelievable to me. Very very unethical business practices. They are thieves.Business Response

I have been double charged for my car wash membership 2 months in a row. I contacted the manager and he told me he has no idea why Im being charged 2x each month. After multiple notifications to the manager about the charges, the assistant manager found a duplicate account under my name. They canceled the account and promised me a refund for the 2 months of double charges. This is going on month 3 and I still have yet to get a refund. The manager says he has submitted the request to corporate but that has been 3 weeks ago. I would like my refund asap. The manager has lied to me telling me its been submitted but yet I still havnt received anything. *** contacted the corporate phone number and to my luck, they say to contact the store location for assistance.
