      On 02/28/2025 I went into this car wash. While in the drive through I felt a big jolt and my vehicle was somehow caught on the machine which caused my factory installed performance rear wing that is screwed in to tear off and it was damaged. I immediately went straight to an employee who apologized and said it happened all of the time there. The manager on duty was less than helpful and very rude. A report was filed with their claims company Fleet response. They immediately denied my claim stating they aren't liable for glued down parts. I sent photos and proof directly from **** that my vehicle comes with the factory installed part. I sent photos I took at the car wash right after it happened. They still denied my claim again today stating their equipment's had no malfunctions that could have caused this damage. It is very unfortunate that these companies can just say they aren't liable and wash their hands of this just because they can and unfairly leave us with a damaged car. If they are insistent that they were not liable, then please provide a copy of the footage of my car going through the car wash.

      I am rejecting this response because your investigation has not shown me or anybody any proof that your equipment did not cause any damage. The initial denial on your companies behalf has nothing to do with equipment malfunctions, it only states that the claim is denied due to the part being aftermarket. It was not until I showed evidence from the manufacturer that the part is factory installed, then at that time the response was changed from non factory installed part to were not responsible I need to see video and photo proof as to why its denied.

      On March 11 1025 I went to the take 5 carwash On *****************************. Went thru the car wash and my vehicles grill got pushed in by the big brush that goes over the vehicle. The brush did not come up when my truck advanced forward on the conveyor. When I finally got out of the carwash I went and found the manager that took my damage report. She said some one would be contacting me that day. I have contacted customer service every 2 days with them saying we are escalating this to the next person. It is now March 24 2025 and I have not received a phone call text or email from no one.

      This has to do with Take5 deduction for monthly car wash/ I canceled this Feb25 in the ******* Take5 prior to the auto charge/ then come to find out they sent through a charge/ contacted Take 5 and they said it is now canceled. Then Mar25 Take5 yet again charged me Now Im out $40

      As *** explained previously, the other pass she had found was not purchased for use in **, so there is no way the TX location employees could possibly have seen, known about, or cancelled the pass. 

      The process for purchasing a pass from our website, which is where your pass W-WWW87XN was purchased, requires many steps. This includes choosing the location where the pass will be used. This does not appear to have been completed. You have to actively search for a city and state, then there is a list showing the nearest locations with the city, state, and address all provided for every single option. If you did not enter the correct information when you bought the pass, then could not use the pass, and also never let us know there was an issue until 3/9/25, we are not responsible for any charges incurred. Unfortunately, no refunds are due. I apologize for the inconvenience.

      To reconfirm, the pass W-WWW87XN has been cancelled and will no longer charge for renewal.

      Take5 in no way offered any type of documentation and or explanation about this state by state Take5 mentioned in the response to BBB 

      I used ***** and Louisiana Take5 please ask them for the records of my account 

      Take5 only gives you a window sticker and NO PAPERWORK 

      ITS A SCAM

      I cancelled this in person from Take5 prior to the auto deduction and the Brenhan Take5 store confirmation was verbally stated. Then 2 days later it was taken on the auto deduction and the Brenhan store offered nothing or even followed up / did not contact me 

      then in ***** I yet again got charged 

      now Take5 saying this state to state scam is the problem 

      I want my refund

      I signed up with take 5 car wash in the app. I didn't know that they save your credit card info. I sent a request for them to delete it. I received an email from ****** stating in order to remove my credit card info from the system I would have to delete my mobile app account. I sent an email requesting my account be deleted. I then received a email saying it was deleted. But it's still showing on the app my account is still active and my credit card is still being stored.

      I cancelled my monthly car wash subscription in person at the car wash location in June of 2024. I continue to get charged for this subscription despite multiple attempts to contact them and cancel my service. I have disputed the charge successfully through my bank but I still continue to get a monthly charge.

      - they were new to open at this location and I signed up for a promotion.- my badge never worked so after about a month, an employee got me another one.- apparently this employee made a whole different account and included my same credit card - every month since this happened, I have been being charged twice 1 week apart. - the way the charges were done a week apart, it looked like the same charge (just pending).- Ive submitted a request online twice regarding this matter - ive gone to the store 4 times and spoken to the manager who also submitted a request. This resulted in my account being canceled but nothing more. - I have never received any type of correspondence from Take 5 - there is no phone number to speak to anyone - I never authorized the employee to charge my card for the second account, because I had no idea there was a second account. This resulted is being double charged for years.- I have been trying to resolve this since 2/1/2025. - the manager says there is no phone number to call, only an online complaint submission. I did this with her as well.- the manager stated this happened a lot to new customers when they first opened: being double charged bc an employee made two accounts incorrectly

      Hello, prior to February 20th 2025 speaking to ** ********* I had been taking my car to the Take 5 carwash on **************** I have a white car and after going there about 3 months I noticed that the paint was wearing off my side mirrors on the top on the ends of them one worse than the other so I filed a complaint at the County Line office the man took pictures and then on February 20th 2025 ********* contacted me from Take 5 car wash. As we were talking and he told me that the claim had been denied because it never had happened to another car before in the history of take 5 car wash. I told him how I felt about the situation and he said to me that it might have been something I did or overlooked before kind of insinuating that I did this to my own car. By the way this is my first time ever using a car wash in my entire life the reason I was using it is because I moved to a area where they have a lot of dirt roads at first I really liked it then when I started noticing the damage I decided to cancel my membership. I don't know if ** ********* feels that he can make women look stupid but I am not one of those women. I would have rather this not happen to my. I spoke to Al today which is March 19 2025 and I said I had been emailing and calling take five car wash and no response as to what they would do about my car so today Al tells me they don't have a claims department they canceled it so there's nothing he could do he would try to contact them and have them call me but he assured me that no one would call me back. No one answers the phone at the corporate office in **************. what kind of business is this anyway seems like Something Fishy. From what I read. It looks like this company takes no responsibility. I would like my car fixed period. And you're **** right now I am mad for a company that doesn't take responsibility for anything in my opinion. Al stated that it could have been a bad paint job really ******** does paint jobs? I want my car fixed.

      I am rejecting this response because I did not have this damage to my car prior to bringing it to your facility you can deny the claim but the fact remains I did not do this the paint job was not a bad job so ********* thinks. I spoke to someone that said these damages are due to car wash damages because they used to own one and now they don't because there was so many damages to cars they decided to hand wash this is a car dealership that told me this maybe the only reason that there wasn't any more complaints about this is because you guys never answer your phone you just deny take care

      I took my car to this business for a wash on 9/17/24. I noticed that the touch screen where you choose the type of wash you want wasn't lit up, so I just paid and the gate lifted and I went through. That was a big mistake. I noticed several months later that I have had a recurring $17 charge on my credit card every month on the 17th for the "Unlimited Carwash membership". Which of course I never signed up for. When I went to them to discuss, an employee heard me say "scammed" and "membership" and immediately handed me a card from a big stack with a QR code to scan for customer service and to cancel my membership. I asked if this happens alot and he said yes. I then asked why they haven't shut this down and he mumbled something about software problems and how his "district manager is trying to get it fixed". I got a refund from the parent company for 2 of the 5 months they charged me for. My credit card company said that they see this kind of scam alot and that often they can get away with only refunding 2 mo nths of charges and then start charging you again, stating that you got a "discount". I have blocked them on my card so that they cannot continue to charge me. I **** learned that this company is run by a ************* (I believe it is called ****** Carwash per ****************). Great way to run a business- you scam your customers, and then when they figure it out, you only return some of their money and blame them for not realizing your scam sooner. And then keep on doing it to other people!I definitely should have caught this earlier, and they definitely should not be scamming customers.

      Today March 10 2025 Im a disabled veteran and applied today to get discount and membership online and when I got the email with the barcode it would not go through at the machine with attendant. Tried three times. They had no way of doing anything to override it and told me to wait 24 hours. Which was not what I wanted after paying for a service already. But they did let me go through wash. So why is it not working or showing up on their end? I went to the ******* Louisiana Take Five Car Wash today and thats where I set it up online. Can you please help me resolve this issue. Wrote several emails to the corporate office no reply and store said they couldnt do anything. So I downloaded the Take 5 Carwash app and set up account and it charged my again $21 dollars so now $41 and I went to go try it at my ******* ********* Carwash Take 5 location and said no services were available. Also it is a monthly reoccurring payment that Im worried about them taking money out my account in the near future. I did manage to cancel the app one and screenshot the email but who knows if thats legit. Also to cancel in the website you have to email them and Ive yet to get an email explaining this issue. So I didnt get to use it after paying on app either. Im not happy and no one can help at store said reach out to corporate and that is apparently only by email. The phone number is just redirect you to the website. So can you please help me? This seems to be a reoccurring problem after researching and the reviews. Seems the ******* ********* location and corporate are not on the same page and the workers and manger told me they dont know what else to do but report to corporate and give it 24 hours but it should have taken affect immediately after purchasing. Makes no sense. Please help me either cancel this on both attempts and figure something else out.

      My husband used this carwash once in Sep of 2024 and paid for it with a debit card. He was not happy with the service and never used them again. On 28 Feb 2025 I discovered that Take 5 has charged us $27 each month from Oct 2024 through Feb 2025 for a monthly membership. My husband did not sign up for this nor is there any written contract. I contacted Take 5 by telephone and was told that I would be contacted by someone. **************** representative, *****, e-mailed me and stated that the membership would be cancelled and it is Take 5's policy to refund two month's worth ($54) of charges (which was done). I responded that we did not sign up for this membership and I believe a full refund is warranted. ******* reply was effectively, "take it or leave it." I explained to her that my husband is not the only person who has been signed up for a monthly membership without his/her knowledge and those who brought this to the attention of the BBB were issued full refunds. I have had no response from anyone at Take 5 since then. I am asking for a refund of $81 for the remaining unauthorized membership charges.

      We didn't know we had been signed up for a monthly membership.  We were not monthly membership "customers."  Other people who have been taken advantage of by Take 5 have been fully refunded when the issue has been brought up to the BBB.  I don't consider a two month refund a "curtesy" for Take 5's deceptive practices.
