The account is NOT mine. I asked them to validate the debt and they either could not or have refused to do so! This company has been calling my cell phone and my parent's home phone indicating that I owe money to *************** I explained that I do not have a balance of $7,000. When I try to find out what this balance is from they get mad and hung up on me. They say they will garnish my wages. They stated that the balance is from 2011. I received a call today and a recording of a man telling me they intend to seize my assets if I don't press "1". The company refused to give me their address, refused to let me talk to one of the principals of the business. Refused to tell me if they bought the debt or collecting on behalf of another person. They told me the debt is from 6/16/2015 from Easy Money Payday Loans (which is illegal in *********************. They also used an auto dialer to call me. As I stated in my original complaint. The loan in question was over seven years old. All internet payday loans to residents were found illegal. The call from this company was from an auto-dialer (also illegal). I will be willing to settle this for $5,000.00. If that is unacceptable I will file a class action lawsuit because I quaratee I am not the only person this company tried to scam. Over the past month worth of time, I keep getting voice-mails from this company about collecting a debt. The last debt to ever go into collections came off of my report Sept 2023 after 7 yrs. Therefore, there is literally no reason anyone should be claiming I have a debt. Especially with a credit score of over 750. My Discover card protection did find my SSI # on the dark web. I have had identity theft claim put in with credit bureaus due to a card opened in my name I never had. I've only had First Premier, *******************, Capitol One, CareCredit (paid and closed), Mission Lane and Discover. All loans are in good standing. The number of ************ for Aquarion literally says "This is an attempt to collect a debt. Any information used..." blah, blah, blah. Yet, when I actually answered and got through the automated bs, they instantly hung up on me when I asked what this was about. I called back to again be hung up on. So I called again to get a very rude and nasty lady that argued even what the message says when you call them. She claims they only serve papers to people at their job or home. So why a call on my voice-mail near literally every day for the past month and counting? They also have no identification of the company in the automated messages. In fact, I had to call back 2 more times just to get the company name. This cannot be me they're getting in touch with. I've had numerous people even calling me lately trying to reach someone that's not had this number since I've had it in 2017. They get their facts straight in everything or I expose the nationally and federally. Federal is next. Like a in a few days next. I also keep track of my credit for free with Credit Karma and Experian. So I know what is there and not. Whatever this compnay is claiming isn't anywhere on either 3 credit bureaus.Business Response

No information has been recieved by me in any manner. No questions answered over the phone either. No clue what this is about because it is most likely due to the identity theft reported to the ************************* Otherwise, I have nothing in debt collection in any manner. This is a scripted and bogus response. There's still no correspondence of any kind in my possession. Most likely due to it never being sent or they never had MY address due to it being tied to my identity being stolen. My SSI was found to be in the dark web. So they need to stop lying or a summons for the recorded calls of the rude rep giving no information will happen. This company contacted me about 1 year ago claiming I owe 4k to some company which I don't even recall...I ask for the original application with my signature and proof that they are indeed legally owners of the debt and legally able to collect from me. I have been receiving voicemails from a local number. When I search it, nothing is returned. I called them back and asked for the business name, which was given, but when I asked the employee to spell it, he hung up. I do not have anything in collections. I get at least one phone call every other day. Threatening wage garnishment and jail time. For what? I owe you nothing.
