Company contacted me by phone insisting that I owe a debt in the amount of $1740.58 to ********** Their only proof was a company issued document stating such claim without any other proof like copies of **** statements or loan agreements with my signature.I contacted **** and they have no record of such debt. They call me every two or three months and I tell them to leave me alone. I did pay off a debt to **** in 2019 through another collection agency named Hood and ******** and Associates. I used a credit card for this and I fear it was a scam.Business Response

This company has been calling, harassing, and insulting me for days now and I have never nor will I ever done any business with them. I want them to stop harassing me and stop calling me. I am rejecting this response because:I have never done any business with the company they are claiming that I have debt with that they have "aquired". I have formally submitted debt validation and they were not able to validate the debt but they still currently continue to harrass me. Each time the call they claim I owe the company a different amount of money, yet cannot validate any debt at all. I want the harassment to stop.

I received a call from this company stating that this is to collect a debt. The credit card they named is in good standard which I told them they have the wrong person. She then read my address and social security number to me. This is unacceptable. They should be shut down.Business Response

I received a call stating that I owed Best Buy $1,577.02. If I did not pay this amount by a certain date my wages would be garnished for +$4000. However, I could settle the debt for $788.96. This company had my personal information and that was a little disconcerting. I verified that there was no Best Buy account on my most recent credit reports. I also called Best Buy to see if this incident occurred and they said there is no history of it occuring. I then called AAM LLC back and informed them of my findings and they said the Best Buy Credit that was fraudulently acquired might not show up on my credit report??? Furthermore, I will receive correspondence in the mail by the 1st of the month about next steps or some legality step ( then they HUNG up!). I will wait for this letter to arrive. However, I suspect it may never get here. Supposedly, I was sent 2 letters prior to the call about the debt; which I never received. Needless to say this is all the better reason to add Fraud ***** and Credit monitoring to all your credit profiles. These type of calls are getting more and more frequent.Business Response

For the past three business days (starting 8/14) a female named ***** keeps calling about an outstanding bill to a fake company name(s) each call she has a different company name. And that is if you can get her to keep lying before she gets frustrated and hangs up. She cannot provide details of the claim she says she calls about. When pressed for details she get frustrated and hangs up. When she is informed no personal information such as social security numbers and full names will not be provided or confirmed she again gets frustrated and hangs up. This is affecting me at work and at school as I am a night student as well. The harassment is causing problems in my work and home life and is despicable and unacceptable.Business Response

Getting repeated phone calls harassing me, stating that I owe money for an alleged former credit card dating back to 2014. I have checked with the so called company in question and they have no record of any past account. The representative initially started out with an amount of $1400, then said $585, and tried to get me to pay $250 to satisfy the debt. I have checked my credit report numerous times over the course of these years and have purchased a home and two cars with nothing appearing on the report. The woman was a fast talker, interrupted me throughout our conversation and when I pushed for more information, she hung up on me. This seems fraudulent .Business Response

This company said I owed debt from *********** credit in the amount of $500 from many years ago, but I never had a card back in the day, and they charged me $250 plus $10 for processing so total of $520 total payment, but the thing is I have a *********** credit card now and its in good standing. Company continues to call and harrass me stating I owe over $600 for an **** account from 2010. After the last call they sent a text with the so called information. This account had an address that I never resided at. They are completely rude and wont let you ask any info about the account. They continue to over talk the situation. I received calls since May ****************************************************************** ****. I am making payments on a credit card ending in ****. That is the only one I have, I have made contact with *********** to be certain. In June. I asked that paperwork be sent to me regarding this issue, I received nothing. Now this company called again to add a new layer. The credit card is now with BH-**** through ***********. Upon contact with *********** today, I was told this us not correct. Ibstill have the one credit card and I'm making payments on it. Please stop these calls and this company. I have no paperwork from the BH **** company. I don't want to be scammed again.
