7/3/24 I have been receiving a phone call from this company for 7 months now. They have been calling my business and my personal number. I have no debt in collections. I asked them earlier this year to stop calling me and they have not. I called them back and told them I have no debt owed and they continue to contact me.Business Response

I keep getting called nonstop by this collection agency they claim that I owe money to a company called easy money. I have never taken out any type of loan like that in my life. They are telling me Im going down for financial fraud and all types of stuff clearly breaking the *** rules on collections and they know my Social Security number and address I called easy money and the first thing they say is hey people are calling on behalf of us saying that you might owe money or something like that. Its a scam theyre not even licensed in the state of *******. This is an absolute scam this is harassment. This collection agency is breaking the law. They stole Social Security number. Theyre committing identity theft Im filing also a complaint with the federal trade commission and the Florida attorney general. This is ridiculous. This is a scam being run by the company. When you call *******************************************They literally have a message saying hey if your contacted by collection agencies its a scam **********
his office was as bad as unprofessional as can be and I see this is the canned response. They use the other complaints, but it would be impossible according to his office for him to remove me because they told me they sold the law off and then Im in trouble for financial fraud. I have never taken a payday loan in my life. This company knew my Social Security number. They knew my address. This is a scam thats being run. I understand what theyre doing. They have 100 and something complaints. They respond to everything. The way there agents at their violation of every single collection law by the federal trade commission and I hope the Better Business Bureau looks further into this and report them to the state attorney and the *** call ez money for yourself and you will hear the recording.
In his response, he said I might have been victim of fraud. OK how does he know that I would like to see the complaint and I would like to see the information they have on me how they got my Social Security number and what documents I wouldve signed with the company and how they know that fraud was committed on me?
Again how could we trust the response when they specifically told me on 7-3-24 that they sold the paper and its in a different office?

I am rejecting this response because: your office specifically told me that you sold the paper and its in another office so how could you have done the steps that you mentioned? This was this was 100% fraudulent. You had my Social Security number and my address. I would like to see the documentation of what youre talking about. Why would I believe you you threaten me? Aquarion Asset Management has been contacting my husband and my phone for weeks. On 06.10.2024 they left a message threatening to garnish. I contacted them and asked for further documentation as they stated I owed money from a payday loan EZ ********** services in 2018 that I did not take out. They stated they were unable to provide further documentation and that they would settle for $665.00. I made a small payment of $50 to get them to stop calling but I can see now this is fraudulent.They have provided me no proof of the original debt despite numerous requests. Out of nowhere I received the 1st call on June 26th from Aquarion Asset Management. I spoke to a woman who informed me that I owed money to an EZ Money Loan from 2019 and that EZ money loan sent the money to my Santander account. The only problem with their story is I never had an account with that bank. I have never taken out a loan When I asked her the basic questions like a file number, claim number they couldn't give me one. She said she was just informing me that I could settle that day for over $600 or they would move forward with garnishing my wages for over $3000 because of "interest and penalties". I told her I was not paying that because I never took out a loan. Well today (july 1st 4:16pm) someone from Aquarion by the name of ******* called with the same threats. I again asked him basic questions like what was this so called total amount for the loan. He didn't have the information he only had what the total they were going to garnish and the total they would settle for today. I told him I would call him back in 1 hour. So I took that time to call Santander they never had an account for me. So I called ******* back with the direct number and ext he gave me *********************) Now mind you they called me from 2 different numbers and different area codes already. So I asked him some basic questions about this so called debt and they had zero info to give me. He again said "we are not collections we are just here to inform you that you can pay 600 today or a wage garnishment for 3000 would happen in the next week. I said you would need a court order or court date or something and he said no they don't. Once I told him that I am not in collections and it wasn't on my credit report and that I was reporting to the BBB and the ****************** Protections he hung up on me. Clearly this is fraud and or a scam attempt. These calls need to stop! I will also be filing a complaint with the ****Business Response

About 2 weeks ago I started receiving calls from this company saying that I have a past due balance of $3000 after administrative fees to ************ I currently have two *********** credit cards and neither one of them have a dollar on them. I have worked at a bank for many years and this is clearly a scam. I spent many hours every week helping my clients who were scammed in a similar manner. I have the ability to review my credit report every month. I have no past due accounts and no collections on my credit report. This is fraud! I continued to receive calls daily from Aquarion Asset Management stating I have a debt from over twenty years ago. I called and spoke with someone and she gave me a settlement amount as a one time fee if paid by July 31st and gave a different amount if paid in installments. I have never heard of this company and would like to file a complaint because I am elderly and I live on a fixed income and this situation has caused me to become paranoid of thinking someone may be able to go after me in court or attempt to access my personal account.Business Response

I received a call from company stating I owed an EZ Money Loan. I asked for details concerning supposed loan and was told they only had that I was delinquent and was collecting. The representative stated I defaulted on $500 but they were going to garnish my check for over $3000 unless I paid $769 today.
