I purchased a Jeld-Wen patio door on July 8, 2023. The door was originally scheduled to be delivered on August 19, 2023. It got rescheduled due to a piece of the equipment being damaged. The next delivered schedule day was on August 28, 2023. Once we received the door our contractor installed the door just to find out that the latch on the door was broken and was not working. I called the company and although the customer service was pleasant the actions taken were not what I would consider satisfactory. They told me they would make a ticket for the door to be fixed and that the replacement part would arrive on September 29 and that I should hear from the technician right after that to schedule the repair. The day came and nothing. Not one single email or phone call so I decided to call back. They told me they had received the parts but the parts were damaged and that they had to order a new part. I asked as to why no one had tried to contact me about this issue and I was told it was a different department. As if passing the blame to another member of the same company is going to make me feel better. I waited 3 weeks and called again just to tell me they havent received the part yet and that they would expedite the service. Now, I finally get an email saying they finally got the part but the earliest date a technician can come to my home to fix the door that came damaged to begin with from the company would be on December 4, 2023. So here I am with a brand name door that cost more than $7,000 and its installed but wont pass inspection and the *** is on me for not finishing the project on the time I was provided. At this point ** very disappointed with this company for not following through with their merchandised and keep passing the blame to other departments in there company. So to summarize everything, *** purchased a door on July and hopefully it should be fully installed in December. Simply put, NOT ACCEPTABLE.JELD-WEN

Just bought an interior, solid core door from them. The door surround build quality is terrible. The areas routed out for the hinges are offset from the hinges themselves creating 1/8 inch gaps. The hinges are not countersunk evenly so alignment for the door is way off. The staples that join the jam together are coming out and the corners where the door jam pieces join are offset so it will be impossible to add trim around the jam without very large gaps that have to be filled. The ***** are also so flimsy that I'm not confident they will support the weight of the door without severe *******, (made with less than 1/2 mdf). The doors themselves are chipped and dinged. I haven't seen this poor build quality for quite some time. I'd give it zero stars if I could.JELD-WEN

Purchased an entire house of new Jeld-Wen Siteline windows, every window was missing the screen, took 6 months to get those, 7-14-23 - sliding door is missing trim parts, scratched glass in inner lite, scratched interior and exterior, no answer from ********** or Jeld-Wen on when i will see the parts to complete. I paid for everything, why should I wait. today is 10-5-23JELD-WEN

I don't know who I'm angrier with, ****** or Jeld-Wen. I ordered patio doors from ****** on 4/27/2023, $6000+, which also includes storm doors from another manufacturer. I was promised delivery in June. No call from ****** indicating the status, so I called. The door was damaged in transit, so a replacement door was ordered. I accepted the delay without complaint. I was then notified in late July that the door was ready for install. Installation set for August 29 (delay due to installer and my unavailability). When the door was installed, it was found to be bowed. It closes at the top and bottom, but you have to push really hard to just get the deadbolt to line up to be lockable. The doorknob lock cannot be latched and locked.I made a trip to ****** in *****************, **, (store ****) on 9/1 and the salesman did nothing but blame the installers for giving him bad information. Instead of listening to the problem, he blamed the installers for giving him bad measurements. I'm writing this 2 1/2 weeks later, and the only action that occurs is when I initiate it via the ****** installation services #. Those folks are always polite and tell me something will happen to fix it, but there's no follow up. All I want is for someone to immediately put in an order for the replacement door panel in the exact same measurements as are on file. After that order is placed, I'm happy to work with ****** on any warranty activity that is required. ****** is insisting on submitting this as a warranty, which will further delay filling the order.JELD-WEN

My wife just informed me that it will be around 10/19 before our door is fixed! This is frustrating since we have two dogs that have learned to go outside on their own to go potty! So now, we have to change their routine for the next 35 days! How does a door come out of the factory without being inspected? If it was inspected, that inspector needs to be replaced! Also, the doggie door system is horrible! When I went to open the door for the first time, the runner on the right side was not in place. With no instructions, I had to figure it out on my own! The clip that holds the door open is also a poor design. If you open the door to far, it pops off! Spent a lot of money on a door that we were told was the best out there! Will we receive any type of compensation for this? Again, very frustrating! *******************************JELD-WEN

We built a garage and used Jeld-Wen windows < we bought three and all three were damaged in shipping so we had to start the process over and reorder the windows but only two arrived. We have been waiting for the third window for months and have been given 5 shipping dates that come and go with no explanation. We have to pay extra now for our builder to return and install this last window if it ever comes?! Very unhappy with the lack of customer service with this company< very disappointing<JELD-WEN

Worst windows ever, replaced 3 times because of skin print between planes of glass, replaced x2 and on the third time it came was still streaked in between, pitted etc. Worst ever to get windows from. I do not recommend these windows to anyone. The size of the window is 57" deep and 68" wide so honestly cannot miss the s*** between the planes. Terrible!!JELD-WEN

Well took 2.5 years for my *************** 8ft sliding glass door to arrive. We installed it and the screen is bent by the wheels on top and bottom so it will not ride on track properly. I asked for a replacement - *************** states 3 - 4 weeks. Anxious to see just how long this we take to get replacement screen door.JELD-WEN
