I was waiting for sash replacements for 6 windows (New build home). No proper response from the company or the customer support. Had to go over multiple cold fronts because of the broken sashes. The complaint raised was December 2022 and still not fixed. as of April 2023. I would just ask customers to not buy anything from them.JELD-WEN

Horrible product. The lock broke multiple times and now handle broke off. Ive had this sliding door 2 years! The locks broke repeatedly in the first 1-7 months of installation. ****** broke off after second year. Caulking around sliding door is coming off. **************** is terrible. They never return left messages or emails sent to corporate. I literally had to contact ********** who I bought Jeldwen through to contact the main supervisor of Jeldwen to fix my locks because no one was responding to me or helping me at Jeld-Wen. When the handle broke, I went through the same runaround of no one wanted to help me. I left messages, emails and no one got back to me nor find my order. After spending days and hours of calling and being tossed around to different departments, I finally got someone to find my order. Three weeks later I finally receive replacement handles in the mail only to find that they sent screws which are way too small and dont even go all the way through to catch the other handle! The reason why the first set of handles broke is because the screws were also too short, and were barely catching the handles, so they literally snapped off because they were barely threading into the second handles. Such a complete mess. The product is not safe. The product falls apart very easily. They do not care about customers they just want your money. Im going to be reporting them to better business bureau. I wish I wouldve read the reviews first. Sad thing is is I was upgrading my sliding doors for cosmetic reasons because my other doors were 40 Years Old, and the sad part is I never had a problem with the locks or the handles with my old sliding door. I wish I never bought through this company, I have a product that is completely falling apart. You will have multiple problems if you purchase through this company and they will not care. Do your research. Dont learn the hard way like we did.JELD-WEN

In **************************************************************** the exterior brick wall to install a 6' patio door. All materials including the door (Jeld-Wen) were purchased by the contractor and were included in my price. I never received receipts. I had a building permit and it was inspected during the building process. This winter I was sitting in that room and realized I could hear outside noise and it was cold as though a window was open. The problem, the outside window of the patio door had warped. I never heard of such a thing until I googled it. I contacted Jeld-wen for help but they told me to go to the store it was purchased, Lowes. ***** looked into it and told me to go to Jeld-wen. Back to Jeld-wen, and back and forth since February 25/23. Their position is I do not have proof of purchase so no warranty. They have opened a service claim but I have to pay $450 to have a Jeld-wen technician to come and inspect the door. No warranty because I don't have the receipt but I have all the informational decals, the Store (Lowes) item number, load date, size, etc. that came with a new door, a building permit that proves when it was installed and that there wasn't one there before but "not proof of Purchase". Jeld-Wen website guarantees vinyl patio doors for as long as you own your home. I don't know where I'm going from here with this but my advice is DO NOT BUY JELD-WEN PRODUCTS. ZERO STARS. I had to give 1 star to leave this review.JELD-WEN

I was in need of a sash replacement on one window that had a broken seal. I put in a replacement request. The warranty **** emailed me with a list of what they needed from me as far as window measurements. I gathered that information together along with a picture of the damaged window and sent it it back via reply back to the warranty department. No response after a week and a half. Still waiting to see if they do reply back with a solution. But the customer support is not good at all. All I want is a replacement sash for my little girls bedroom window.JELD-WEN

Do not purchase Jeld-Wen products. I purchased 15 windows, and every single one had an issue for which the warranty process took 3 months, and at the end of it all they refused to fix, replace, or refund anything. It took them so long to respond I was forced to caulk them all shut, which they deemed, voided the warranty. Every last single hung had daylight showing and the sash was unable to completely close out air transfer. Their premium vinyl has no insulation in the frames and are very cheaply made with excess caulk squeeze out on the glass: poor quality. Complete waste of money and time. You get what you pay for.JELD-WEN

These vinyl sliding glass Jeld-Wen doors truly are junk. ******************* built my new home a year ago and he put in these crappy windows and door throughout the house. Evidently, over $300,000 doesnt get you a decent door on a **** sq ft home any more. Jeld Wen service tech spent 1hr 45 min getting it to slide and close. These are take-apart doors. He had the frame off in two minutes then put it back on with a shove. The framing had slid off the window by 1/2 inch. Air seepage in Feb in ********* froze the door closed for two weeks. We went over a month waiting to get the tech here ( he lives two miles away) with a door that would not close. Still does close some time. Jeld-Wen warranty manager told me today that the service file is closed. If I want it shut and locked I need to push on the door and handle while closing, as it has a tendency to move off the track on its own. ZERO STARS ********** in *********JELD-WEN

I wish I'd read all of these reviews before I'd ordered windows -- because I have truly had a terrible experience with them. Their customer service appears to be non-existent. Their windows were delayed multiple times (and over many months) -- and when they did arrive they were missing installation parts, were THE WRONG SIZE, and were scratched.JELD-WEN

Very bad experience with this company.The doors and windows are ok, not great but what they sold us for a screen door is a joke. Poor design that doesn't close or lock.No center trim support on screen so screen will eventually sag out. Terrible customer service! They blame our contractor for installation problems yet it is their design flaws. We finally asked them to leave and we will just live with our awful screen door.JELD-WEN

1 starHorrible customer service. Tried ordering 3 windows through homedepot in fall of 2021 homedepot never received them jeldwen didnt know where they were either, spring of 2022 homedepot refunded money all 3 windows just vanished. Tried ordering again January 2023 through Menards thinking there would be a different outcome. One window made it to Menards other two vanished again, Menards refunded money. Im done with jeldwen bought three windows from pella.
