    Constant Harassing Calls. They call every day. I have repeatedly told them I am not interested in switching my internet carrier and asked them to remove me from their call list. Today (02/10/25), they called. The first time I just ignored the call, then the same number called back. I answered gave the gentleman the same message, I am not interested, take me off your list, said thank you and hung up. He called again and the minute I said hello, the same *** told me to hear him out. When I again started to tell him I am not interested, to take me off their call list, and to stop calling me, he was raising his voice to talk over me. I finished my sentence and hung up. This is a daily problem. They call ALL the time, no matter how many times I tell them no and to stop. It is pure harassment!

    They seem to have all off-shore support who speak English, but don't understand it. Set up a port of my existing phone number on 01 Feb 25. On 05 Feb 25 tech installed hardware for the service, but no one can call in. Brightspeed support all offer no explaination, apology, or workaround, they just read a scripted response that it will be 26 Feb 25 at the earlier for port to be completed. Basically a full month without service. Cant for them to try billing me. Their US HQ is in my state!

    It is hard to even give 1 star, but you can't leave it blank. I have been forced to have internet with Centurylink/Brightspeed since I purchased this home in 2017. Unfortunately, in my area they are a monopoly and have no competition unless you get satellite. In that entire time, I bet my internet has been out no less that 300 times and maybe closer to 600 outages. Of those issues, I can honestly say 95% have been local issues and not something that took down the entire internet backbone. IE: A major fiber cut or something like that. Having been a telephone technician for 30years in the **** I have told many technicians how to do basic troubleshooting when someone even bothers to show up, but it is only a Band-Aid that soon fails again. I get they do not want to spend money on technology that is ***** year old, but what am I paying for? I have never once received even a dollar credit to my bill even if it was out more during the month that it was working. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE BRIGHTSPEED use some of that $180 Million of taxpayer money slated for ************** on fiber infrastructure ASAP.

    After initially signing up with Brightspeed for internet, they never fulfilled their continued promises of installation and service. After waiting through several promises and six weeks, we were told it would be another month, perhaps even longer. So we cancelled our request for new installation. We heard about other people's same experiences with poor service.

    I had a sewer line replaced, and the backhoe operator cut the marked phone cable. When contacting them I was told to wait 11 days, granted it was over Christmas holiday, but to add insult, the day they told me to be home between 8am and 5pm, again not surprising, but I 1st received an email saying that he'd be here at 8. When I called at 10, I was told he's be here at noon. When that timeline passed, I looked on their web site, which is a whole different complaint, I was told he was on his way. Again at 4, I was told the same thing. At 5 I called and told them I waited all day for the guy, and they told me that I'd need to set another appointment, with no apology. I cancelled my account on the next available day, Mon, and was told I'd officially be cancelled on that Fri and that I owed $17 for the 11 days of actually having service, which is half of a full month's service. I received no statement telling me I needed to pay by that date so I was surprised that they had added on a $9 late fee and even another $9 fee for "being 2 days late in Nov. I was on auto pay from day 1 with them, so how was it my fault that I paid late! I did cancel my autopay the day after I cancelled because I didn't want them to charge me for a bogus amount, which they did. My expected $17 bill turned into $35. I tried all day yesterday to get someone to tell me why these charges and to reconsider them, to no avail. They're customer support is a total joke. You keep getting redirected after every other available question you want to have answered, to eventually end up at the beginning page of your ************, I warn anyone considering this phone/internet company. I give 1 star because 0 is available.

    They never ran a line to the building for service yet charge me every month- Ill say it again, there is no line from the road to the building.I have talked to a real person about this yet here we ********* action will come if they hurt my credit score.

    I tried for 3 months to pay my bill. I couldnt get them when I called their number. Recording said high call volumes and wait might be lengthy. After waiting a while, the call ended. Every time! Got a letter stating they were disconnecting our service. When I called their phone number on the letter, I got the same results. Still trying to pay the bill??

    Absolutely the ********************** Ever! We are a Business, had No Internet 23 Days, An 18 ******* drove down our street Accidentally pulled the Internet Cable off the Pole. Brightspeed **************** **** kept promising to send Technician, Nobody showed up for 23 Days, Totally Unacceptable.

    My buisness phone has been down since 12-27-24 and they was supposed to be here on Jan 9 between 8 and 5 pm, receive a text stating they could not get anyone out here until Jan 30 between 8 and 5 then after I called they said the earliest would be Jan 28 between 8 and 5 with no logic explanation so on Jan 12 received another text that they will not be here until Jan 30 between 8 and 5 ? ***?? how are you supposed to run a buisness with no phone??? and internet???

    Wish I could give them zero stars. Theyre horrible. Everything about them is horrible, their app, customer service, techs. I havent had internet for a week now and dont know if they will ever get it fixed. Pay more and go with someone else if you have to.
