    **************** is horrible, we have been paying for 5g for over a year and have yet to reach 10mbs of that speed. When contacting their service department and helping them diagnose the problem I was told the issue could not be solved and would need a service tech to come out. Service tech scheduled appointment was two months out. After eight hours and multiple dropped chats I am now resulting to this

    Ive had Brightspeed for 2 months at best and only a month of the internet Im paying for actually WORKING. **************** is an absolute joke from this company. You cant understand them and they clearly dont understand you. Technician are just about as useless. Were going on our 3rd modem in 2 months from this company and yet no real problem solving seems to be in the horizon here. Now waiting until January 2nd for a technician to come here again for something over phone employees cant handle. When do these horrible companies start getting some consequences???

    In 2024 please tell me why I cannot get more than 10mps??? This is crazy. They bought a service yet chose to leave behind former customers. If you werent going to serve all the customers properly, you shouldnt have bought Century Link. **************** is atrocious. Agents give you misinformation even after you ask them to verify the information, they come back with the same misinformation. Even worse they dont even care if they get terrible reviews. In this day and age they need competition to get their act together

    my wife and i have had phone and internet service with att for over 20 years .. on december 18, 2024, salesman ***** **** showed up at our door .. he said he was with our local utility company (he wasn't) .. he said that att was dropping internet service and convinced us to switch to brightspeed .. he said the service man would do everything to switch our internet and landline phone to brightspeed .. the service man came the next night .. the first thing he did was cut the att wire so we could not use att anymore .. the service man said the landline phone service is not direct-line but voice over internet protocol (voip) .. he said we would have to do everything ourselves to get the phone working .. we still do not have phone service .. brightspeed internet is very hard to use so now we have to pay att $100 to reconnect to their services again.***** ****** .. age 83

    Brightspeed is horrible with service repair!Service time is unacceptable.Try avoiding them if at all possible!

    As someone who works from home and depends on internet it is extremely inconvenient and affects my paycheck when the internet has been out for five days now due to a cable issue at the main office the issue was supposed to be resolved by 12/16 by 4pm, came back on for a few hours and is now off again. It is now 12/17 and the estimated time of repair is 8:30pm. As the end of the year is quickly approaching will Brightspeed fix their issue in order for those of us working from home can at least attempt to meet our business goals for 2024?! This is ridiculous and its very possible I will loose my job over this!! I am highly considering a different internet provider over this issue

    This company has terrible customer service. We have been out for 6 days now and they still cannot send someone until tomorrow. They even tried to upsell me while my service was not even working.

    Working with Brightspeed is an absolute nightmare. Our business has utilized them for several years. On the website with our zipcode it states that we are eligible to get 100 mbps. Unfortunately, we are only getting 1.5 mbps. When I call them to ask them about upgrading our service, we are told that they don't offer that service in our area, even though I was searching for internet service with our address. I informed them that on their website it states that this service is in our area, and that they are putting false advertisement on their website. I have spoken with supervisors as well. Not to mention that they are offering the 100 mbps for $50 per month. We are paying over $100 per month, and it keeps going up almost $3 per month. It is a terrible company to do business with. Unfortunately, in rural communities, we don't have very many choices.

    I can not believe this company has an A+ rating with the BBB. Makes me wonder if you can get a high rating by paying for it. We have been with this company for about 7 years nowonly because they were the only service available. The service goes down often and God forbid that this occurs on a Friday because they close up shop until Monday. Now, they canceled my service, without my authorization. Youre better off with no internet service at all than to go with this company.
